Join us for a guided tour of the special exhibit Lives Eliminated, Dreams Illuminated at the Hadassah Brandeis Institute on Tuesday, October 24 from 9:30-10:30 am.
Lives Eliminated, Dreams Illuminated is an immersive art exhibit that imagines the lives that could have been led by young women and girls murdered in the Holocaust. The exhibit pairs actual photos with paintings by artist Lauren Bergman and music by composer Ella Milch-Sheriff. You can read more about it here. Several BOLLI members who have already visited the exhibit urged that we offer an opportunity for a visit to our full population.
This is the last chance to see Lives Eliminated before it closes on Wednesday, October 25 and goes on tour.
The tour, which is free, will be led by an educator. If you are interested in going, contact Marsha Semuels at mhsemuels@gmail.com as soon as possible. We will be meeting nearby for coffee afterwards.
The exhibit is located in the Women's Studies Research Center in the Epstein Building, on South Street, right around the corner from the South Street Cafe. Tour goers can park in the BOLLI lot and walk around the corner (about a 5 minute walk). Click here for a map.
If you have a class second period and are concerned about returning home to participate in your class, BOLLI can provide laptops for you to use in the classrooms.
