We are delighted that Erica Hirshler, Croll Senior Curator of American Paintings, has agreed to lead another private tour for us at the Museum of Fine Arts on January 16 at 11 AM. This tour will be the exhibit of the work Georgia O’Keeffe, and American painter, and Henry Moore, a British sculptor, that demonstrates how the artists' lives and work surprisingly overlapped in many ways. Whether or not you are a member, you need to purchase a ticket on the MFA website for the 11-11:30 AM entry: https://www.mfa.org/tickets. It is recommended that you buy your ticket asap, since the show ends on January 20th. We will meet at the Sharf Info Center just before 11. Limit of 25 for members only. Lunch following the tour will be in the museum’s cafeteria. In order to keep track of our reservations, please let Jennifer Coplon know when you have secured a ticket at jencoplon@gmail.com
Below are some of the works on display.
