The Charles River Museum of Industry and Innovation in Waltham is located in the Francis Cabot Lowell Mill, an icon of the American Industrial Revolution. Its collection includes artifacts, cultural insights, and stories that enable visitors to see the history of the industrial era. The Francis Cabot Lowell Mill, incorporated in 1814, was the first in the nation to place cotton-to-cloth production under one roof.
We will tour the inside exhibits and outside structure and grounds on Fri., May 12, 2023 starting at 11:00 am. Each tour will last 45 minutes. The museum can accommodate 24 people. Those interested in further exploration are invited to stay longer.
