MIT Museum

We have scheduled a special guided tour to the new MIT Museum on Monday, January 8 at 10 am.  A guide will give insights on the exhibition entitled Gene Cultures, after which we are free to explore the museum on our own.  The price for this tour, which includes entrance to the museum, is $15 per person. This tour is limited to 20 people. Make your payment by check or Venmo no later than December 26.  Please contact Marsha Semuels at mhsemuels@gmail.com to reserve your space and to make payment.  The group will have lunch together at Shy Bird, a nearby restaurant.

Public Transportation and Parking

The MIT Museum is located next to the MBTA Kendall/MIT Inbound subway train stop in the mixed-use office building located at 314 Main Street. The entrance is at the side of the building directly across from the MIT Welcome Center.


Subway:
Take the MBTA Red Line to the Kendall/MIT station

Bus:
The 64, 68, and 85 lines stop near the MIT Museum. The #1 bus stops on Massachusetts Avenue, about a 15-minute walk.

Car:
Parking in Cambridge and Boston can be expensive and hard to find. Whenever possible, we suggest you use public transportation or a taxi/rideshare service. For rates and locations of garages in the area, please check online.
