Grenadier rush

Requirements

The core recommended requirements are:

  • Maximum upgrades of the grenadier for your rank

  • Maximum upgrades for barracks production upgrades for your rank

  • Maximum upgrades on starting resources for headquarters

  • Very good container collection ability of the player

  • Good upgrades on the power plant

  • Good upgrades on the construction yard crane

  • Good headquarters deployment time

Other optimal conditions to be satisfied are:

  • Proper scouting of the enemy base to determine the general readiness of the enemy hence to gauge of the possible success rate, also to determine weak points

  • Proper scout prevention of your base must be carried out

  • Generally, the smaller the map, the better the results

  • Very early and dominant map control is required in the opening minutes of the game

  • Precise boost allocation during the execution

Build Order

The particular build order is standard, and depends on the amount of starting resources, but generally a base in deployment time consisting of:

  • 1 construction yard

  • 1 power plant

  • 2 supply center

  • 3 barracks

  • 1 sniper tower covering 1 entrance or base flank from enemy scouts

The general build is, 1 power plant, 2 supply center and 3 barracks. Containers must be collected as fast as possible. Building an assault factory is optional, to provide 1-2 coyote for map control and anti scouting.

Execution

Deploy the base

Train 2 riflemen from each barracks. Immediately once the 2 riflemen from each barracks have been trained, upgrade 2 barracks to level 2 to begin grenadier production.

Upgrade the headquarters to level 2 as soon as possible whilst collecting containers (upgrading the headquarters immediately is most suitable, provided there are sufficient starting resources)

As soon as level 2 barracks are complete, grenadier production must begin immediately. Grenadier production in the best case scenario must begin before the headquarters reaches level 2. The earlier, the better. This depends on the deployment time and construction yard crane, also on the starting resources (which govern how early the headquarters is upgraded). Once the headquarters is upgraded, upgrade the third barracks to level 2, for maximum grenadier production rates.

Addition of sniper towers is most suitable to deny any enemy scouts. The map control and scout denial principles explained in coyote rush are essential once again. This increases the chance that the enemy is not prepared, which increases the possibility to win!
