Shipyard

For the Kings of the Seven Seas

The Shipyard provides slow warships that are superior in both power and armor compared to any land unit, allowing for domination of everything close to the water.

How to Use

The Shipyard is first available at HQ2 and produces Deltas, Vikings and Poseidons. Just as the Barracks are mandatory to get containers on the land, the shipyard is required to get water containers.

They are usually placed directly at the shore with the opening where ships are released pointing towards the water. It is heavily recommended to protect them with Torpedo Platform while they are built to defend against naval rushes. This also avoids Caimans from mining the opening of the Shipyard, which can be so dangerous that it can cost the player the entire water control.

It is possible to place torpedo platforms directly before the opening of the Shipyard, as deltas will still be able to leave it and Viking and Poseidon will be teleported to the closest available space. This means that any potential water pockets close to the shipyard should be avoided, as they can cause the ships to get teleported there, leaving them stuck and unable to move.

Usually it isn't required to worry about shipyards getting destroyed Hawks as it has the strongest defense of all production buildings, especially on level 3 where it can even take a hit from a Nuclear Launcher or Space System without getting destroyed.
