How to use

The main goal in the beginning of the battle is to reach HQ3 as soon as possible. This means that it is important to use the Assaults left after container collection to keep scouting the enemy base(s) as often as possible, to avoid being caught off guard by early game rushes, in which case Bunkers are a good choice to buy time. If there is no incoming rush it is advised to take the opportunity and decide to instead ignore early game defenses, as this can reduce the time needed to produce the first Zeus and Vertex sooner than normal, which are used as the main army for this strategy as they complement each other very well.

The Zeus are used to hold positions, something they can do very well as they are not only very well suited to fight other tanks, but are also pretty good against infantry due to their high splash radius. Their main weakness, mobility on the other hand is made up for by Vertex, the fastest unit in the game, which can be used to not only take out enemy siege units like Mammoth, but is also very effective at countering enemy Hawks due to its ability to target any non-hidden units, except submarines that are submerged under water. They are also very good at taking out Dragonflies which would otherwise be a soft-counter to Zeus.

With sufficiently upgraded Naval Platforms it is also possible to play this tactic on naval maps, where the platforms can be used to first weaken the enemy fleet, to then finish it off with Vertex.

Overall this tactic is very effective until HQ4 enters the battlefield, at which point it is recommended to switch to a late-game tactic like Zeus with Energy or Vertex and Thor, for which both only a few additional buildings are needed, making it a comparatively small step to reach them.
