COURSE DESCRIPTION

Condominium law is the body of law regulating the ways in which condominiums are developed, owned, and managed.  It is about the rules that apply to owners, purchasers, developers, and how people may come together to own a property in common, rather than individually.  It is concerned with the procedures, and property law concepts by which the statutorily created Condominium Corporation, and the unit owners must operate.  Throughout the materials, students are encouraged to consider the unique form of property ownership inherent to condominiums, and in particular, the remedial that exist to ensure that all the interested parties act in accordance with the law.
