METHOD OF EVALUATION

One mandatory assignment to attend Morning Chambers (in person or by WebEx) during the first half of the term and submit a short reflection, maximum 500 words, worth 10% of the student’s grade. Four optional, online quizzes, worth 5% each, delivered during the term. One open-book final exam for the remainder of the final grade.



COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course examines the civil litigation process with reference to Alberta’s Rules of Court. We will consider the purpose and intention of the Rules as well as their practical application in civil litigation.
