Artist statement

For this project I wanted to make something video game related in order to fit with the sentence "Help somebody level up with organ and tissue donation." I also wanted it to be sort of old school so I picked a gameboy and matching game cards. I wanted it to be sort of cartoony so I put black outlines around everything and kept the coloring very blocky. 

This is a digital drawing. I made the dimensions of the canvas 8.5" x 11" and I used procreate and photoshop to make this.

Originally, I was going to make a full pixel drawing on photoshop, but the grid on photoshop causes the color to always go onto the wrong pixel and not the one that you click, so I decided to make a drawing on procreate instead.  I gave the drawing outlines so that it would look more like a cartoonish image.
