Beautiful Oops

This beautiful oops drawing started as an ink blot. The original ink blot sort of looked like the side profile of a young boy, but I wanted to change it so I used pen to change the features of the face. I drew a detailed circle around it with diamond shapes that had different color sides. The rest of the piece was just me testing out new things to see if it looked good. The original idea with the paint was to make the sun and moon, but eventually I swirled them with the paintbrush until they blended into each other. I'm not sure why I decided to make this piece the way it is. It turned out very different from the original idea and I wasn't really paying attention while working on it.
