Circle Design

This is for the circle design project, where you design something based on a circle, or something that can take the shape of a circle.

For this project I used this circle shaped piece of watercolor paper, and I painted the design with watercolor paint. The clown is outlined with a Micron pen.

The swirls on this piece are inspired by a piece of candy, and the clown is bent sideways in order to fit into the circle shape. The swirls don't meet in the center, because the original idea was for them to be twisting down into a hole. The clown was also originally supposed to look like it was twisting down, but I changed that idea and just had him bent sideways.
