Micron Pen on Drawing Paper

4.5" x 12"

This is based on the WhatchamaDRAWit prompt "a penguin and a donkey playing hockey. The type of hockey and the direction of the penguin wasn't specified, so I made it ice hockey.

This was originally drawn with a graphite pencil on drawing paper, but because it was too light, I went over it with a Micron fineliner. The hockey puck was colored in with a Posca paint pen. The paper was cut in half, so the dimensions are 4.5" x 12".

My first version of this drawing was going to be a cartoon penguin and a semi-realistic donkey, but I gave up on that because I don't know how to draw a donkey. I chose to keep the drawing black and white, and just do the darker areas with lines and circles. I don't know why the penguin is upside down.
