Artist Statement:

For this assignment we were tasked to take 17 photos representing the different digital compositions and techniques used in photography. After we took all of the images, we had to enhance them by editing them. For an editor I used the editor built into the Photos app.

The image that best represents it digital composition is the picture for close distance. The picture I took is of a discarded mask next to L.L. Bean Inc. At the angle that I took it at and how close I am too the subject makes this photo, in my opinion, the best representation of the photographic technique.

I also like the image for soft focus. I took the original image a little while ago and it happened to have a natural blur because I shot it through a window. This ended up being the perfect image for the soft focus digital composition. What I really like about this image is how well it edited. The editi of this image is by far my favorite edit of them all.
