Artist Statement: Wire Vase Sculpture

I needed to choose something to make out of wire and a vase appealed to me. The vse I chose was a tall vase made of glass.

The only material used in the project was wire.

To make this piece I started my creating multiple rings to stack up and make the vase shape. After I had all of the rings assembled I made a lot of connecters to connect the rings together into the shpe it ended up being.
