Final Project

Artist Statement

For this piece I was given sixteen circles that I had to use in any way I desired. I decided to take a photo that I took of a lady slipper and draw it only in the circles provided.

For materials I used graphite pencil to sketch it out and then colored pencils to color it in.

Originally, I was going to have a full drawing on the page and only put color in the circles and leave the rest grey-scale, but because of time I opted to just draw inside of the circles; so, I had to erase the full drawing and leave only what was in the circles which hurt a little bit because I didn't spend a short amount of time sketching out the piece.
