Zoomed Shoe

Graphite on drawing paper

Leapord

Posca markers, copic markers and graphite on bristol paper.

In this work I was promted to draw a zommed in fraction of my previous shoe drawing. I used all the different vqariations of lines to make sections of different abstract drawings. In the first section I did small Takashi Murakami flowers. I used copic markers to color it in. In the secon section I did a realistic leapord roaring with the background of different colors. In the top sections I did money in one a cracked brick pattern in the next and some doodles in the top right corner. Then on the side I did some lightnig bolts and lastly on the bottom I did a blue background with some cracked lines.

In this drawing I used copic markers to color in most of the parts and I used graphite to do all the outlines and rough sketches. For the leapord I used graphite to do the rough sketch and I used coloured pencils to color it in and I used a white posca marker to do the white parts and the whiskers. For all the other parts of this piece I used copic markers to color and graphite pencil to sketch out all the drawings.

I started out all of the drawings with a pencil and then went from there but with the leapord I did the rough outline and then started to add details to it using a 2H pencil. After that I used a coloured pencil to start the color and I got all the color down. I coloured in the mouth with black sharpie and proceeded to use white thin posca marker to add some white here and there and on the wiskers. For the back of the leapord section I used copic markers and a posca white marker to do some touch ups on the white lines in between all of the coloured area. For the other drawings I used the same technique which is doing a sketch with pencil and colouring and outlining afterward.
