Sustained Investigation #5

For this project I for the first time did my artwork on something other than a peice of paper. I customized a Hydroflask water bottle. I wanted to have the guy look like he is floating a have a closed hood so I didn't have to stress about the face. It was kind of hard to do this because the paint doesnt just get soaked up by the paper it has to fully dry so it is a long process.

Materials: Hydroflask, Posca Markers

I started with a sketch, and changed the shoes a lot. I finally decided on crocs which is probably the hardest choice becase of the shape but I liked how it turned out. I then sketched on the waterbottle which was hard to see so I shined a light onto the bottle. I painted the top down to the bottom and then did the face under the logo which I had to redo a couple times.
