Color design and Character design

In this piece I made a crazy character in my sketchbook that corolates to me. I made the guy wear clothes that I would wear and shoes that I would wear. I had to learn how to use copic markers a little better considering that I have only used them a couple times before this and I didn' shade when I used them.

The materials I used were: (to color) Copic Markers and (to outline) a black posca pen. I also used a 2b pencil to sketch out the whole thing before I added color..

I first started with a rough outline and different shapes when I started this drawing. I scribbled a round circle for the head to start off. Then I made the rough shapes that I wanted everything to be when I did the the body. I went with a long skinny fram with larger clothes and body feature to stick out and make the drawing look unique. I mostly made the hands and feet big. Then I did a hat because I couldn't come up wityh a unique hairstyle that looked like mine because my hair in real life is kind of boring. Then I went onto coloring and learned to shade copic marker on a different page.
