Ink, ink pen.

For this project, I wanted to get it done quickly so I decided to go really small. I wanted to focus on the pant for this fashion design. I made the pants really baggy and that was the biggest thing on the character so it would stand out. I didn't know what to do for the background so I decided to go with a simple cityscape because he is wearing street clothes. I also made the character on the sidewalk maybe waiting for a bus or a taxi or something that is up for interpretation.

For materials, I just used an ink pen so I could do fine and sharp lines.

First I did a small sketch in my sketchbook and then loosely copied it down onto the paper after making a border with tape. I then put ink into a little container so I can dip the ink pen into the container easier than the little bottle. I went over the sketch with the ink constantly having to dip it in the ink. I finished doing little cross-hatch line things to shade since I am only using one color. I purposely made the piece look like a draft or a sketch so it looks more like an illustration.
