Pure Contour

This shoe is one of my favorite shoes I have ever worn and I love these shoes. I use these shoes for usually athletic purposes but I wear them for style too. The reason I chose these shoes to draw because they are very detailed and on the shoes I set the laces up in a unique way that makes a unique looking drawing. Also the shoes are a unique shape compared to other shoes.

In this piece I used a 2H pencil to sketch out the shape a details. this is so the lines would be light and easy to erase if I needed to and to get the finest lines possible. after I finished with the sketch I used and 4B pencil to darked the lines for a more prominent drawing. After I used this pencil it looked more pure and bold. When I was using the 4B pencil I used and scrap piece of paper so I wouldn't smudge the 4B pencil.

They way that I went through and did the art was by starting at the front of the shoe and making an outline of the shoe roughly and the making tweaks to the shape and size. Once I got the right shape and/or size I would go through and look at the details of the shoe and I would do those in the drawing. After I finished the sketch I would go and make the drawing sarkr and then I would be done.
