Sustained Investigation #14

For my second to last Sustained investigation I decided to take inspiration from a thing I saw on instagram in 2020 called the "toon me challenge" and it is where you take a picture of yourself and draw different things to customize yourself. I took probably 25 picures of a certain position where my knees were bent and since I'm tall my knees were in a lot of pain and I fell over a layed down to rest my knees and the pictures from that were better than any of the other positions.

All I used for materials was an iPad and an Apple pencil or I wouldn't have been able to do this projects the correct way.

For the process I started with taking a picture. Then I selected features of my body to enlarge like the feet and the hands. Then I colored my head all on color and did a little shading. I then went to color the shoes by bsically simplifying the color pallete and adding a smiley face to the tougue of the shoe. I then colored the hands and simplified the jewlrey that I was wearing. I finished by doing the watches and outlining everything. I thought I was finished there but it looked like I was missing something. I decided to make the pants have a smiley face and then I was finished.
