In this project I made a demogorgon head from the show stranger things. I liked the design of the head and I really loved the show stranger things which is a horror show. The demogorgon's head is shaped like a flower design but it has a big mouth in the middle where its victum's go where the are killed. I didn't pick this for the gory part but I just liked the design and decided to do this instead of a flamingo which was my other idea I had.

The materials I used in this project was mostly a lot of newspaper and tape. I used wads of newspaper for the inside. Then I wrapped the newspaper with the painters tape so the figure would be mostly solid. For the outside of the sculpture I used different color construction paper. I used red for the inside of the mouth. For the actual mouth I used black. For the backside of the head I put tan paper but I didn't take a picture of the back because it is just straight tan paper which isn't very interesting.

The process of this project strarted with a drawing of what I was going to make and I did a diagram. Originally I was going to do the whole body of the Demogorgon but I thought that would take too long and I didn't have enough materials for it so I just did the head of the Demogorgon. Then I sculped the figure using the newspaper and painters tape. I made the figure then. I hot-glued the construction paper onto the figure.
