Linoleum

For this project I had to make a print with linoleum and also make an extended print. I wanted to not have to do a face because I don't like making faces so I decided to just do the clothes of a person with no body so I didn't have to do a face. I chose to make a golfer because I like golf and that is the only reason

I used linoleum and ink to print. I also used the little linoleum carvers to carve the linoleum for a good print.

I used a sketch that I had made and then used transfering paper to transfer it onto the linoleum. I did all of this backwards so the print would be the right way. After I transfered my sketch I started carving the linoleum. I ended up cutting myslef onetime because it was hard to hold the lino just on the bottom and carve away from me. I was fine just a little blood. After I carved everything I used a bench hook to roll out some ink and then I did like 10 tries and I still had chatter on the paper so I just left it. For the extended I decided to outline the whole thing in orange because orange and the hue of purple that the ink is look like clemson colors so I made it a clemson golfer.
