Surrealism

In this painting, I first ripped up a bunch of newspaper and glued it onto a piece of drawing paper along with a printed piece of another artist's drawing. Then I traced it onto a canvas with a lightbox and made it into my own style drawing like rips in the paper and in the rip there was a doodle a flower scene and an ocean wave scene.

I mixed different colors of acrylic paint to get ll the colors I needed and I used a posca marker to draw the black lines. I colored the newspaper part grey and drew lines to look like the words. I used mostly the finest brush then I had and used it for basically everything.

Here is the process that I used to create this piece, first I sketched everything out, and then I painted the entire thing grey and with a black posca marker, I drew lines on the grey to look like words. After that, I painted all of the other parts of the painting.
