The national 50 mile time trial was held on the 10th of July in Fife. In very wet conditions, Iain Grant of Dooleys RT won the title in a time of 1:49:00. Perth United were represented by Steve Cairns, who finished a very impressive 8th taking over 6 minutes off his previous best, Steve Davidson and Dave Mitchell.
