There were some special guest riders for our last race of 2012. Former member Jane Morris, who is now based in the South of England, came along and showed she has some good form. We were also pleased to welcome Mark Beaumont and his friend Bruce Duncan who is one of the UK's top adventure racers. The course was probably a little bit short to bring out the best in them (about 18,000 miles too short for Mark), but they both put in very good times and any rivalry between Mark and Bruce will have to be settled another day as they posted identical finish times. It was nice to see all of you and you'll be very welcome back at any time.

The event was won by Gordon Chisholm, who was the only rider to get under the hour on a very breezy day, with Ally Little and Kevin Lancaster completing the top 3. The final standings for all competitions are now available.

A big thank you on behalf of all the members to Bruce Mackie and Ken Bruce for running the confined race series again this year.
