With John Green working as a commisionaire and Fraser Martin competing in the B Category, Perth Utd were again represented at the Scottish National Track League in Glasgow on Wednesday 20th of Feb and it was a very successful night for the Perth Utd Junior. Here is a copy of Fraser's own description of events.

So my first blog post comes on the day when I'm suffering from a severe case of "post-track league depression." Last night, with a subtle gear change and new aero pedals, I was buzzing to get back on the track. Racing with the B Group, it began with the Scratch race, which after some good decisons, I snatched 1st by a bike length. Next up was the points race and once again, with good decision making and a couple of good lunges, I took 1st again. My 3rd race, the Elimination race consisted of me sitting on the wheel of Rhys Donnelly of Glasgow Ryderz, I finally made a sprint for the finish, but with 100m to go lost out to Kenny Ayre of City Of Edinburgh RC with me taking 2nd. The final race of the night was another scratch race which didn't go to plan, I attacked with 5 laps to go but was caught and ended up finishing in the bunch. So I'm on a high having had a great night when on my way home, Dad drops a bombshell - "You have homework to do tomorrow remember?"
