The season opening race took place today on a cold and windy, but sunny morning. Steve Cairns continues to have a slight edge over Ewan Taylor, beating him by 5 seconds on this occasion. Dave Nicoll beat Kevin Lancaster and John Smith in a closely run battle for 3rd place. Ewan Taylor was the first rider home in the BAR competition for non-TT bikes. Charlie Swan and Anne Chisholm picked up the points for first place in the Youth and Ladies championships respectively.
A big thank you to all those who helped out with timekeeping and marshalling today - Bruce Mackie, Ally Little, Julian Wang, John Shelley, Suzie Swan, Peter Miller and Stan Stewart.
