The season finished as it started with Steve Cairns winning the final TT. Many riders have improved over the last season, including Richard Dowling and Kevin Lancaster who took 2^nd and 3^rd respectively, but Steve has also pushed himself hard and so the gap in times over the rest of the club still remains. Perhaps the presence of the vastly improved Ewan Taylor at more events, or a return to form of Steve Davidson could shake things up next season; we’ll wait and see. It’s worth noting that Steve Davidson again competed in this TT on his orange folding bike. An impressive feat on a very lumpy course with some very rough surfaces, although if he’d beaten me I would have been less impressed.

Big thanks to Kevin McHugh and Dave Mitchell for doing the timekeeping and starting. Thanks also to everyone who’s taken a turn at it this year. It’s been much appreciated.
