In the Under 14 girls time trial, a delighted Amber King is now off and running in the chase for points picking up her 1st ever BC point coming 3rd behind two experienced riders in Rhona Callendar of Wallace Warriers and Ellie Park of Glasgow Riderz at Ingliston last weekend.
Gutted at not being accepted into the Youth Sprintfest at the Manchester Velodrome, Grant Martin put this disappointment behind him to take 2nd in the Under 16 TT and winning the Criterium after a bunch sprint adding a further 5 points to this season's tally. The club also had gritty performances from Matthew Peters who looked relaxed and comfortable as he rode with the peloton for the whole race and Charlie Swan who continues to show improvement and a greater confidence around other riders.
In the Under 12's - Aaron King, delighted to be riding on his own bike this week took 6th place in the TT from a field of 17 competitors.
