My friend is a graduate of a rather well-known culinary school in Philadelphia and has worked at high-end hotels and restaurants in the city and suburbs. Unfortunately, these are sometimes high-paced, high-pressure jobs, especially during events and dinner service. During these times, he would often experience anxiety attacks and would have thoughts about suicide and harming himself, at which time, he would get pulled off the line. Additionally, he needed to leave work early or come in late once a week, due to scheduled therapy sessions.
