In my town, it’s hard not to encounter celebrities. Around here most folks try not to gush over them or ask to take photos. We have so many celebrities that we tend to live and let live. They’re entitled to their privacy. In all my decades here, I have a few favorite stories about celebrities I’ve spoken with, and instead I will focus on the unexpected, small kindnesses by celebrities.
