He barely gave interview to refute rumors, he used to purposelly avoid confrontation hoping that it will fade away, type of gesture that even his own mother Katherine Jackson didn’t like either. At the period of the allegations, the mother of the Jacksons wanted her son to severely fight the accusations that aimed him, the only response he gave her was : “ Don’t worry it’s all lie, people will quickly forget about it, don’t worry about this ”. Sound like the singer himself was not conscious of his level of popularity, when something started about him it was generally difficult to stop it.
