This was before surveillance cameras were regularly used so there was no proof that she was the culprit. I think she was known to the store management though, because they didn’t push the issue when she paid for the items. Needless to say, that destroyed any relationship I had with her. I didn’t trust her after that, and I certainly didn’t respect her on a personal level. She was a manipulative, mentally disturbed liar who knew how to play the sweet Granny. I shed no tears when she died.
