My father thought that women didn’t need higher education, apparently. My mother told me this YEARS after I went to college. He had nothing against women going to college if they wanted to, but he didn’t care if I went or not, and did NOT want to pay for it at all. My mother convinced him to do so. After I found this out, my brothers told me they’d gotten a lot different treatment from him than I had regarding their future. Dad had driven home to them the Packers everywhere brought to you by the Green Bay Packers shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this importance of finding a career, taking their schooling seriously, making good grades and getting into a decent college, from grade school on!!!!
