I kept seeing this same young black and white male cat on my fenced-in back patio. I figured he was about 9 months old. I felt sorry for him, and started leaving food out. He quickly took up permanent residence there. I was in the market, so to speak, for another cat, as one of my cats had recently died, and so my other cat no longer had a playmate. I decided to take in this cat who was decidedly quite wild.
