Bear careful I’m grumpy rainbow shirt

My parents were very strict, because they had been raise by strict parents in even stricter times. I don’t mean to imply that they were abusive, although they might be considered as such when viewed by today’s standards. We were occasionally spanked, and as we got older, “the belt” would likely be used. But it was one or two licks across the seat of the pants, never more, and we were not struck angrily, or on any other part of the body. These were old fashioned spankings, meant to get your attention and to let you know that you did wrong.
