There was one time in the years this has happened, where the waitress clearly saw all the same outward-facing “tip red flags”, you could see the disappointment in her eyes that we were sent to her section. Regardless, she did her duties very well. Our drinks were always full, she happily brought extra (free) fries for our son when the child’s portion wasn’t enough on this particular day and he told her he was still hungry when she asked if we needed anything after a refill. In short, she was attentive, made sure everything was ok, and she went above and beyond.
