MY LITTLE BROTHER!

MY LITTLE BROTHER! You came into this world 43 years ago on Thanksgiving morning. What a wonderful delight to have a little brother to push around. Then you started to follow me around like a puppy dog and I could not get rid of you. Remembering that time you ran through that glass door after me!

Through out your growing years you missed so much with losing mom, we had to take over and raise you. Finding worms and garter snakes in your pockets was your favorite thing to do. Setting the house on fire trying to smoke out the bee’s nest that was the biggest scare of all.

But don’t forget the time I gave you that black eye!

Through out your growing years, you grew up to push me around. You were no longer my little brother; you acted like a big brother watching over me. Your daily phone calls and just dropping by with a few steaks to throw on the grill or just checking in to see what was going on.

Your latest joke you pulled on me was only just a month ago, when my daughter had a secret she would not tell; other then she was looking for something for her mom.

But my brother you got it out of her, only to find out what the wonderful surprise she had for me, you helped her find just the right car. All you would tell me that my kid was looking for was a dog for me. You thought it was funny and hung up on me! Left me hanging thinking that was my surprise and I did not want a dog at all. You were so proud of what my wonderful daughter did for me, that you called my two sisters and several other family members to share that secret with them.

To see your face all lit up and beaming with smiles when we drove over to see you that day! You were like a kid on Christmas day! But now I know that joke you played, was your way of getting back at me when I gave you those gag jokes on your birthday! So much fun we all had with you!

Now its time you rest in Peace with Mom and Dad and we are very thankful to have you as our little brother who loved to joke around with all of his big sisters that you liked to scare.

My little brother, you left so unexpectedly and never gave us a chance to tell you how much we loved you! I am so thankful to have had you as my little brother that was born on Thanksgiving Day.
