What do we know about life? We are born, and raised by our parents, we go to school, then off to college if we are lucky enough to do so. Some marry and have children others have careers and some just plain don’t know what they want out of life and do nothing. We get so busy that at times that it seems that Life has passed us by.
When does life have a meaning for our lives? Some may say they can’t be happy unless they lead a life of ease and all the money in the world will make a difference in their life. Others say money is not everything to make them happy. There are so many sad and unhappy people living in this society who live life’s dreams of money. Thinking that is all they need to live a happy life.
Greed is the corruption of this universe, wanting that life of ease. But life is what God gave to us, we breath in the air to keep us living. We live day by day by the air we breath. Yet life keeps on living and so many are just so caught up in their lives they miss the little things that life has to offer, those little things that we see that can make us happy. If we allow ourselves to find the time to just stop running to reach that dream we are chasing after.
When is the last time you really stop and took a look around you? Pick that rose and smell the sweet aroma of God’s love flowing through that rose he created. Take off your shoes and socks and walk through that fresh cut grass. What do you see and smell? When is the last time you just laid down in the grass and look up into that deep blue sky and look at the clouds? Those little things can mean so much to us if we just took the time to stop and reflect on those child hood memories. When is the last time you found the time to pick up the phone and call a relative you had not seen in years or that school friend that really needs a friend to chat to and really needs to vent on how their life has been.
Time doesn’t stop, we must stop the time that keeps us busy from our lives!
Can you stop your life for a day or two and go spend it with a relative or two or that school chum you used to lay in the grass with and look up into the sky? Someone needs your time to make them happy even if it just for a little while. That means so much more then a wallet full of cash! WHERE IS YOUR LIFE LEADING YOU TO?

I got an email this evening from my cousin Pam the title to it was Life, and how life takes us in different directions, pulling us away from family and such. She is planning a family reunion this summer a big one and some of her family from out of state is coming in for the first time in years for a get together. She wants it to be more then just a family get together but a weekend of fun! And those that are able to go inter-tubing down the river and just enjoy the time together and enjoy the simple pleasures that life has to offer! Because life just gets in the way of just having fun with family or even old friends.
She had started to plan this last year after I made the call to everyone in our family to not only tell them how bad my dad was getting and he did not have long to live. And wanting everyone to see him while they still had the time to see him alive.
Pam wanted to know if I had any old family reunion photos that she can put in a scrap book not only for her large family but for the whole family as well, so we can look back at all the good times we used to have together.
I told her I had a bunch of old photos and she is coming over so we can go through them together and I know that I know those simple family gatherings will stir up a lot of fun times together, like all of us cousin that were all near the same age. I can remember just getting together on a hot summer day and just sitting in the grass and chatting away and sooner or later someone lies down and then tell us what the clouds all look like to them. Can you recalls those days?

Jeremiah 33:1-9 (New International Version)
Promise of Restoration
1 While Jeremiah was still confined in the courtyard of the guard, the word of the LORD came to him a second time:
2 "This is what the LORD says, he who made the earth, the LORD who formed it and established it—the LORD is his name:
3 'Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.'
4 For this is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says about the houses in this city and the royal palaces of Judah that have been torn down to be used against the siege ramps and the sword
5 in the fight with the Babylonians : 'They will be filled with the dead bodies of the men I will slay in my anger and wrath. I will hide my face from this city because of all its wickedness.
6 " 'Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing to it; I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security.
7 I will bring Judah and Israel back from captivity and will rebuild them as they were before.
8 I will cleanse them from all the sin they have committed against me and will forgive all their sins of rebellion against me.
9 Then this city will bring me renown, joy, praise and honor before all nations on earth that hear of all the good things I do for it; and they will be in awe and will tremble at the abundant prosperity and peace I provide for it.'
In the third verse, God is saying call unto me I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things that you do not know or those things that are hidden from us.
I also believe that some of those things that are hidden are out in plain sight! That can make us happy. Like the flowers, looking up in to the sky or a walk in the moonlight. those simple things of life that we forget to look at, But yet God wants to revile to us more then that! He wants to tell us of all things that are hidden from us!
But look at verse 6:
But also if we call out to the Lord God will bring health and healing! God wants us to be happy and wants to give us abundant peace and security! God will forgive us of our sins ! God loves us so much and wants us to be happy and live in peace and security!
What do we need to do get all this from God besides calling out to him?
Now look at verse 10 - 14.
10 "This is what the LORD says: 'You say about this place, "It is a desolate waste, without men or animals." Yet in the towns of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem that are deserted, inhabited by neither men nor animals, there will be heard once more
11 the sounds of joy and gladness, the voices of bride and bridegroom, and the voices of those who bring thank offerings to the house of the LORD, saying,
"Give thanks to the LORD Almighty,
for the LORD is good;
his love endures forever."
For I will restore the fortunes of the land as they were before,' says the LORD.
12 "This is what the LORD Almighty says: 'In this place, desolate and without men or animals—in all its towns there will again be pastures for shepherds to rest their flocks.
13 In the towns of the hill country, of the western foothills and of the Negev, in the territory of Benjamin, in the villages around Jerusalem and in the towns of Judah, flocks will again pass under the hand of the one who counts them,' says the LORD.
14 " 'The days are coming,' declares the LORD, 'when I will fulfill the gracious promise I made to the house of Israel and to the house of Judah.
Wow what a wonderful promise from God and all we need to do is call upon the Lord with Thanksgiving in our hearts! And Thank him for all he has done for us!
With that, that is what Life is all about!
We give thanks to God for all the things he has done for us! Even those little things he has done for us! Walking on the grass in our bare feet and looking up into the sky and smelling the roses with the sweet aroma of God’s love flowing through that rose he created!
Give thanks unto God! That gives us Life! Thank him for the body which you posses and live in! Thank God for the feet that lead you where he is sending you! Thank God for the air you breath and your heart is pumping for him!

That unclean spirit. I claim the promises of your word. "Who so ever that calleth on the Lord shall be delivered," I call upon you now in Jesus Christ name. Deliver me and set me free. Satan, I renounce you and all your works. I loose myself from your works. I loose myself from you now in Jesus name. I command you to leave me right now in Jesus name! I have a confession to make my ancestors and I have sought super natural experiences apart from you. We have disobeyed your word. I ask for you’re forgiveness. I renounce witch craft and magic both black & white. I renounce witch craft and all occult games etc. I renounce hypnoses. I break any hold placed on me. I command it right back where it came from in Jesus name. I thank you Lord for all your doing in through and for me right now! By the Blood of Jesus Christ amen.
