Christmas Spirit
CHRISTMAS SPIRIT!
We have the Christmas Spirit the second we receive Jesus Christ into our lives.
Christ was born on December 25 we are told. Christmas Spirit is born in our hearts when we accepted Christ! We are a born again believer in Jesus Christ!
For he was born to die on the Cross-to save us from hell and give us eternal life in heaven with him. We celebrate his birth one day a year. Why not celebrate your rebirth with Christ? Jesus gave us a gift when he was born to die for us.
A gift no one else can give; so this Christmas Season get into the Spirit of celebrating your born again experience! Tell your love ones how you came to know the Savior Jesus Christ and what he has done for you!
Tell them the true meaning of the Christmas Spirit! It is not Santa Clause and his rein-deers! Why lie to your children that Santa is real or you are Santa Clause! A lie is a lie and Christ doesn’t want us to lie to his children. He wants the truth told about who he is. He is real and with you everyday, if you let him into your life. For the truth will set you free! Christmas is not about spending until your in debt to impress those around you! Why don’t you give the gift of who you are in Christ and give yourself and your time to do some good for this world? Tell others what Christ did for you, which is a gift that will last forever when someone accepts Christ into their lives? We get gifts on our birthday, why not give this gift of the Christmas Spirit to all those around you? That you’re celebrating your born again experience in Christ this Christmas day Then when your love ones come for the day , show them your Christmas Spirit and share how Christ became real to you and all he has done for you! You are born again believer in Jesus Christ! Just has Jesus was born on Christmas day! Those that are true born again believers celebrate Christ each and every day.
So what are you going to celebrate this Christmas day?
Santa Clause and his rein-deers? Being born again?
That is the Christmas Spirit is having the Spirit of Christ live in us everyday!

I had been feeling down and depressed and not understanding why I was dreading this Christmas season. I thought maybe it was the death of my Dad and losing my uncle on Oct. 30 2009.
I had gotten to the point I did not want to go to Church and be around anyone in this state of mind I was in. I did not want to even celebrate Christmas this year at all.
Though my daughter and her son and boyfriend as well as my brother will be here.
My dad will not be here. But just all the past Christmas’s I felt it would be another day of cooking then my guest arrive.
We chat for a little bit then we sit down to eat. Then un- wrapped the gifts, then they go home, leaving me with a mess to clean up.
This year I dreaded it, but Christmas is coming and they all expect me to make dinner and bake cookies. That I have not even done yet is bake!
I had been praying about this and talking to my Lord. Until tonight I was on face book playing another game. I just could not get in to the kitchen and start baking for my family.
Then all of a sudden out of the blue, I knew what was missing not in my life but in my family’s life, we don’t celebrate Christ on Christmas! Not one word is ever spoken about why we have Christmas, this is why I did not have the Christmas Spirit in me!
My daughter who was raised in the church and accepted Christ as a Child. No longer believes in God or Jesus that he is not real. Though she mention that Santa Clause is not to be taught to my grandson, just like it was not taught to her when she was growing up, she didn’t want to lie to her son. I was relived to hear that.
I told her Christmas is about Jesus not about Santa Clause, she said not in my house there is no Jesus! But we did tell the kids that we are Santa Clause! They have not taught my grandson or her 2 step-daughters about Jesus! She told me he was not real to them that there is no God!
I am walking around on thin ice this year. Because Jesus is very real to me, and Christmas is to be celebrating the birth of Christ.
I felt the Holy Spirit telling me not only do we celebrate Christ birthday but we too as believers need to celebrate our re birth in Christ as well! For with out Christ we can not be born again and live in heaven with God!
Those that are born again should celebrate their born again experience! To share the Love of Jesus and what he has done for them. That is the Christmas Spirit is having the Spirit of Christ live in us each day!
I had lost that feeling of being born again how excited I was to accept Jesus Christ in my life. I was 16 when I ask him into my Heart. But I never really understood who he was, for I did not know him. When I lost my mom at the age of 17 I was angry at him for taking my mother away from me.
Then in 1982 I needed major surgery or I would lose my eye. I had no money to pay for it and no hospital that would take me. That is when I heard the Spirit of Christ speak to me and tell me not to worry, it was all taken care of. Deut. 31:6 was given to me that day. On a cross book marker in my mother’s bible.
The rest of the story you can read in Fog of Confusion. For that day changed my life forever. God and Jesus became real to me. They are real, they gave me back my life when I wanted to die. So now as I am sitting here crying out my heart on paper. I know what I need to do now.
I got to rock that boat and walk out on the water with Jesus Christ and trust him.
I got to tell my family my born again experience before we open the gifts and why we Celebrate Christmas. I must share with my daughter what Christ did for me.
So please pray for my family that they will not walk out the door and slam it on me!
I can not go on and celebrate another Christmas without Christ being there too!
Those that are true born again believers celebrate Christ each and every day.
Not just on Christmas day!

I thank you for the blood of Jesus Christ which cleanses me now forever from sin, I come to you now as my deliverer you know my special needs the thing that binds, that torments, that defiles, that evil spirit. That unclean spirit. I claim the promises of your word. "Who so ever that calleth on the Lord shall be delivered," I call upon you now in Jesus Christ name. Deliver me and set me free. Satan, I renounce you and all your works. I loose myself from your works. I loose myself from you now in Jesus name. I command you to leave me right now in Jesus name! I have a confession to make my ancestors and I have sought super natural experiences apart from you. We have disobeyed your word. I ask for you’re forgiveness. I renounce witch craft and magic both black & white. I renounce witch craft and all occult games etc. I renounce hypnoses. I break any hold placed on me. I command it right back where it came from in Jesus name. I thank you Lord for all your doing in through and for me right now! By the Blood of Jesus Christ amen.
