Christmas Casserole

It makes the holiday smoother to cook the meat for this recipe the night before Christmas, then warm it up in the microwave before layering the casserole dish.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans crescent rolls
  • 4 oz cheddar cheese
  • 4 oz cheddar/mozzarella cheese blend
  • 1 pkg. bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 6 oz sausage, cooked
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 ½ C Half & Half cream
  • 1 ½ t Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 ½ t Tabasco sauce

Preparation

Place crescent roll dough in a casserole pan to form a crust, pressing down and sealing the seams (go up the sides also). Bake @ 350 degrees for 5 minutes.

Remove and sprinkle cheeses on crust. Layer on bacon and sausage. Beat eggs; add milk, salt and pepper, and sauces. Pour over the meat. Bake 25-30 minutes or until set and slightly browned.
