White Horseradish sauce

A sandwich is only as good as its dressing and making your own is as simple as combining the staples from your pantry and fridge. This sauce expands and lingers while you chew – and you can make the horseradish bite as strong or light as you like. The best part? It can be used as a salad dressing or on a nice cut of beef as well as on a sandwich. Ditch the plain mayo on a BLT and give this a try next time.

Ingredients

Preparation

  • 3/4 C mayonnaise
  • 1/4 C apple cider vinegar
  • 1 t lemon juice
  • 1 T water
  • 2-3 T prepared horseradish
  • 1-2 T sugar
  • 2 t coarse brown mustard
  • ground pepper
  • 1/2 t salt

Combine all ingredients and shake well. Taste and adjust. Store in a squeeze bottle.
