Bill's Chili

1 red pepper, seeded & chopped

1 poblano pepper, seeded & chopped

1 garlic clove, chopped

2 onions, chopped

1 lb. ground chuck

2 Johnson Italian sausages, casing removed & chopped

1 28-oz can diced tomatoes

15 oz can tomato sauce

12 oz can tomato paste

1 16-oz can hot chili beans with sauce

1 16-oz can kidney beans, drained and rinsed

1 16-oz can pinto beans, drained and rinsed

1 t cumin

1 t paprika

3 T chili powder

1 t sugar

salt and pepper to taste

dash Worcestershire sauce

2-3 C water mixed with 2 t beef bouillon

  1. Saute meat together and then add vegetables once there are some drippings
  2. Add remaining ingredients
  3. Simmer 1-2 hours and then add the beans
  4. Simmer another hour or more

Best served with shredded cheese and Fritos!
