Jack Juggler gaslights Jenkin Careaway to make him doubt his own existence. A late-medieval English play in the early commedia style -- zany servants playing pranks.

Because this play is very old, the traditional commedia character names didn't yet exist, since there virtually was no "tradition" yet. Even in Italian texts many commedia type plays of this age don't use stock character names we would recognize anymore. The English names are pretty good approximations of what the Italian names would represent, e.g. Zanni = Jack --TF
