See Quran 20:85 – 20:98 comments.
Quran 20:85 Koran 20:85 (Allaah) said, "We (Allaah) have tested your people (with Satan Shaitan) after you (Prophet Moses Musa) departed (from them. Satan Shaitan has been successful), and Samiri (not Angel Samil) has led them (the children of Israel at Mount Sinai Horeb in the Sinai Peninsula) astray."
Comment 1. Who is Samiri?
Samiri (Saamari, Samirii, Sameri, Samira, Samiriyy, Samri, Samariy).
Allaah used Samiri to test who among the children of Israel believed in idol worship.
1a. Some people say that the name Samiri is not important.
Why is the name Samiri important?
In the sacrifice of the son of Abraham Ibrahim Quran chapter 37 surah 37 sura 37 why did Allaah not name Ishmael Ismail and not bless Ishmael Ismail but instead names Isaac Ishaq and Abraham Ibrahim and blesses Isaac Ishaq and Abraham Ibrahim?
The answer is that in Quran chapter 37 surah 37 sura 37 Ishmael Ismail is not in the story of the sacrifice of the son of Prophet Abraham Ibrahim.
In Quran chapter 37 surah 37 it is important to know the names Isaac Ishaq and Abraham Ibrahim because these are the only names that are mentioned by Allaah and blessed by Allaah in the story of the sacrifice.
Here is another example that shows why it is important when names are given in the Quran.
Allaah has not included Prophet Ishmael Ismail with the blessing of vision in Quran 38:45 but instead Allaah purposefully mentions Prophet Ishmael Ismail separately without his father in the next verse Quran 38:48. Why? Because Allaah is showing us that the father and the son who was to be sacrificed in the vision of the dream was Prophet Abraham Ibrahim and Prophet Isaac Ishaq in Quran 38:45.
During the time of the sacrifice Prophet Isaac Ishaq was “the only son” living with Prophet Abraham Ibrahim because Allaah had already taken Prophet Ishmael Ismail away from Prophet Abraham Ibrahim into Allaah’s care in the desert.
In Quran 38:48 Allaah mentions Prophet Ishmael Ismail without his father because Allaah had taken Prophet Ishmael Ismail and his mother Hagar Hajar away to Allaah’s care in the desert and Allaah was now asking Prophet Abraham Ibrahim to give as a sacrifice to Allaah Prophet Isaac Ishaq who was “the only son” that Prophet Abraham Ibrahim still had living with him.
Would Prophet Abraham Ibrahim sacrifice to Allaah “his only son” Prophet Isaac Ishaq who was the only son living with Prophet Abraham Ibrahim?
Prophet Abraham Ibrahim had earlier already given away his first son Prophet Ishmael Ismail to Allaah’s care by leaving Prophet Ishmael Ismail and his mother Hagar Hajar in the desert with little food or water.
Allaah had already taken the first son and now Allaah wanted “the only son” Prophet Isaac Ishaq who was still living with Prophet Abraham Ibrahim to be sacrificed. That was the test from Allaah.
For these same reasons it is important to know Samiri because Allaah has revealed this name (... and Samiri has led them astray).
If it was not important to know the name Samiri then Allaah would have revealed “and Satan Shaitan has led them astray."
See. Quran chapter 37. Sacrifice of Isaac and Ishmael comments in Quran chapter 37.
Comment 2. How can we find why Allaah has revealed the name Samiri?
Quran 41:43 Koran 41:43 Nothing is said (by Allaah) to you (Prophet Muhammad) except what has already been said to the messengers before you. Your Lord (Allaah) is the possessor of forgiveness and severe punishment.
2a. What has been revealed about Samiri by the messengers of Allaah before Prophet Muhammad?
The story of the golden calf at Mount Sinai Horeb is in the Torah Taurat.
Samiri is not in the Torah Taurat.
Samiri is not in the Gospel Injil.
2b. What does the Quran say about Jewish stories told by rabbis?
Stories in Jewish rabbinical literature can be true or false or a faulty mixture of truth and falsehood.
This is the same for Muslim hadith stories and Christian stories from humans.
2c. A true Jewish story from rabbis that is confirmed by the Quran is:
Mishnah Sanhedrin 4:5, Babylonian Talmud Tractate Sanhedrin 37a Whoever destroys a soul; it is considered (by Allaah) as if he destroyed an entire world. And whoever saves a life, it is considered (by Allaah) as if he saved an entire world.
Note 1, In the sight of Allaah the saving of one human life is a great deed because in the sight of Allaah such behaviour is like saving every human life on the earth.
Quran 5:32 Koran 5:32 From that time (humans were warned not to murder and) We (Allaah) decreed on the children of Israel (through the inspiration of the teachers of the Jewish Talmud and confirmed for the Muslim in Quran 6:151) that whoever kills a soul (kills a life, kills a person) it is as if he has killed all of humankind (so that humans understand the great value and preciousness of one human life and to warn humans against the great evil of killing one human soul) unless it is in retaliation for murder or for misbehaviour in the land. And whoever saves it (saves a life, saves a soul, saves a person) it is as if he has saved all of humankind (so that humans understand the great value and preciousness of one human life and to teach humans the great goodness in the saving of one human soul). Our (Allaah’s) messengers came to them (the children of Israel) with clear arguments but still after that many of them continued to commit great crimes (by killing humans unlawfully) in the land (so this is a message from Allaah to the human not to commit the great crime of killing human life but instead to work to save human life).
Note 1. In the Judgment of Allaah the saving of one human life is a great deed because in the Judgment of Allaah it is like saving every human life on the earth.
Note 2. On the Day of Judgment whoever saved a life will be rewarded with a reward fitting for a person who had saved all humankind if Allaah wills.
Note 3. On the Day of Judgment whoever destroyed a life will be punished with a punishment fitting for a person who had destroyed all humankind if Allaah wills.
Note 4. Human life is equal in the sight of Allaah. Those who save all human life are among the righteous if Allaah wills.
Note 5. Human deeds are not equal in the sight of Allaah. Those who do good deeds to all people are among the righteous if Allaah wills.
Note 6. The saving of one life in this world no matter if that person is Muslim or non Muslim or the saving of one life by guiding a person to goodness so that they are successful in the hereafter is a great deed of goodness in the sight of Allaah.
Note 7. Whoever kills a person it is a crime equal to killing all of mankind.
Note 8. Whoever saves a life has done a deed that is equal to saving all of mankind.
Note 9. Whoever kills an innocent life has committed a terrible crime in the sight of Allaah.
2d. A Jewish story from rabbis with a faulty mixture of truth and falsehood that is corrected in the Quran is:
Quran 2:102 Koran 2:102 And they (some of the Jews of Yathrib, Medina in Arabia) believe what the evil ones said about the special powers of Prophet Solomon Suleiman during the time of his kingdom (they said Solomon's power was magic from evil ones as is written in Jewish rabbinic literature). (The truth is) Prophet Solomon Suleiman had faith (and all his powers were from Allaah). It was the evil ones who were disbelievers who taught magic that had been revealed to Angel Harut and Angel Marut in Babylon. These Angels (when they taught the first humans this knowledge) first said “We are a test for your faith, do not disbelieve in Allaah (by learning magic from us) and to those who disbelieved they taught the magic that caused dispute between husband and wife and caused harm only with Allaah’s permission. They (the disbelievers) learned what harmed them (by learning what was evil) and not what profited them (by having faith in Allaah and doing what was good) and they knew (because they were warned) that buyers of it (magic) would have no happiness in the Hereafter. If they only knew how terrible the price was (for learning the magic of doing evil) for which they sold their souls (for a place in fire in the hereafter).
Note 1. In the Quran 2:102 Allaah corrected a story from Jewish rabbinic literature to show how some stories might be correct and others might be faulty.
Note 2. Angels willingly do only what Allaah has commanded.
Notice that the Angels warned humans by saying “We are a test for your faith, do not disbelieve in Allaah (by learning magic from us).”
Note 3. Satan Shaitan obeys Allaah unwillingly.
Satan Shaitan whispers to humans suggesting they do evil.
Satan Shaitan does not warn humans by saying “I am a test of your faith, do not disbelieve in Allaah (by following my evil suggestion).”
Note 4. Humans have free will to do good or bad and to accept or reject the evil suggestions of Satan Shaitan.
Quran 17:60 Koran 17:60 “.... We (Allaah) warn (people to do what is good and avoid what is evil) and make them afraid (of Allaah by describing the home for evil doers in Hell Fire in the Hereafter) but it only increases them (some of the humans) in nothing but greater disobedience against Allaah (and the commandment to do what is good and avoid what is evil).
Comment 3. The golden calf in Jewish rabbinic literature is a story from humans that explains what is not explained in the story of the golden calf in the Torah Taurat.
Rabbinical literature sometimes confused Angel Samael (Sammael, Samil) with Satan Shaitan when Angel Samael (Sammael Samil) appears to want humans to do evil in some Talmud (stories of Jewish ceremonial law and legend) and in some Kabbalah (Qabalah Kabala stories that are a Jewish spiritual interpretation of the Torah Taurat).
Angel Samael (Sammael Samil) is said to have tempted Eve Hawa according to stories from Rabbi Eliezer.
In the Slavonic Book of Enoch (vi.) Angel Samael (Sammael Samil) is the prince of the demons and a magician ("Sefer Raziel," 6a, 40b, 41b).
In other Jewish stories from rabbis Angel Samael (Sammael Samil) is the Angel of Death (Holy Kabbalah, Arthur Edward Waite, 255).
Angel Samael (Sammael Samil) has also been described as a fallen Angel meaning an Angel who became sinful.
Quran 2:102 (see in comment 2) corrects a Jewish story from rabbis by revealing that knowledge comes from Allaah and not from Satan Shaitan.
In the same way the story of Angel Samael (Sammael Samil) is corrected in the Quran by showing that Angels are the willing servants of Allaah and should not be confused with Satan Shaitan who is the unwilling servant of Allaah.
Quran 2:102 (see in comment 2) warns the Jews in Yathrib, Arabia of faulty stories from humans which confuse Angels who always willing obey Allaah with Satan Shaitan who obeys Allaah unwillingly.
In one Jewish story from humans Angel Samael (Sammael Samil) hides inside the golden calf to make it appear to be alive by making moo sounds (Pirke de Rabbi Eliezer, Pirkei d'Rebi Eliezer page 45, Sanh. 5; Pirḳe R. El. 45).
In this story Angel Samael (Sammael Samil) acts like Satan Shaitan by encouraging humans to adopt idol worship.
The Quran shows the Jews in Yathrib how to correct this story from humans.
The Quran inspires the correct understanding of this faulty Jewish story from humans which has mixed truth with falsehood.
Jewish rabbinical literature is a continuous process of storytelling and story addition, story modification and story comments from many rabbis who explain what is not explained in the Torah Taurat by using the knowledge of religion that existed in their time as a way to teach people righteousness and wisdom.
Comment 4. How does the Quran correct the Jewish story from rabbis of the golden calf and Angel Samael (Sammael Samil)?
Quran 20:85 Koran 20:85 (Allaah) said, "We (Allaah) have tested your people (with Satan Shaitan) after you (Prophet Moses Musa) departed (from them. Satan Shaitan has been successful), and Samiri (not Angel Samil) has led them (the children of Israel at Mount Sinai Horeb in the Sinai Peninsula) astray."
Note 1. It is not the duty of Angels to lead humans astray as in a Jewish story from rabbis that describes Angel Samael (Sammael Samil) making the moo sound of a calf to mislead the children of Israel to abandon Allaah and adopt idol worship,
In the Quran the story of Samiri shows the Jews in Yathrib, Arabia that it is the duty of Satin Shaitan to try and lead humans astray.
The Quran gives Satin Shaitan and Angel Samael (Sammael Samil) and the human Samiri their correct and proper role in this story from humans.
Comment 5. See Quran 20:85 – 20:98 comments.
Quran 20:86 Koran 20:86 So Prophet Moses Musa in anger (that his people sinned against Allaah) and in sorrow (that his people sinned against Allaah) returned to his people saying, "My people, did your Lord (Allaah) not make you a good promise (that the Torah Taurat of guidance would be revealed to you)? Did the (time to wait for the) promise seem to you to be too long in coming? Or did you wish that the wrath (anger) from your Lord (Allaah) should come to you, so you broke your promise to me (by disbelieving in Allaah and worshipping the idol of a calf)?"
Note 1. The story of Prophet Moses Musa in Egypt is in Quran 2:49 – 2:50 and 7:103 – 7:136.
The story of Prophet Moses Musa at Mount Sinai Horeb in the Sinai Peninsula is in Quran 2:51 – 2:57, 7:137 – 7:156 and 20:85 – 20:98.
The story of Prophet Moses Musa and the Holy land is in Quran 5:20 – 5:26
Note 2. See Quran 20:85 – 20:98 comments.
Quran 20:87 Koran 20:87 They (the Children of Israel) said, "We did not willingly break our promise to you (Prophet Moses Musa), but we were made (by Samiri and his followers to unwillingly break our promise to you and) to carry loads of the ornaments of the people and we threw them (ornaments in a fire to make the idol of the calf) and so did Samiri.
How does the Quran correct the Jewish understanding of Angel Samael (Sammael Samil)?
Quran 20:85 Koran 20:85 (Allaah) said, "We (Allaah) have tested your people (with Satan Shaitan) after you (Prophet Moses Musa) departed (from them. Satan Shaitan has been successful), and Samiri (not Angel Samil) has led them (the children of Israel at Mount Sinai Horeb in the Sinai Peninsula) astray."
Note 1. In Quran 20:85 – 20:98 the story of Samiri and the golden calf shows the Jews in Yathrib, Arabia that it is not the duty of angels but the duty of Satin Shaitan to test humans by trying to lead them astray away from Allaah and away from righteous behaviour.
Comment 2. See Quran 20:85, 20:88 and 20:96 comments.
See Quran 20:85 – 20:98 comments.
Quran 20:88 Koran 20:88 Then he (Samiri) brought out (of the fire) for them a calf, a body, which had a lowing (moo) sound (as if it were alive), and they (Samiri and those who believed in idols; Yanus and Yambrus and Michah) said, "This is your god and the god of Prophet Moses Musa, but he (Prophet Moses Musa) forgot (to tell you and he has forgotten about us because he has not returned to us)."
Comment 1. What is a lowing sound?
Tanakh Jewish Bible 1 Samuel 15:14 And Prophet Samuel Shammil said (to King Saul Talut): 'What is this bleating (baaa sound) of the sheep in my ears, and the lowing (moo sound) of the oxen which I hear?'
1a. The lowing moo sound of the calf is in Jewish rabbinical literature.
In Pirke de Rabbi Eliezer, Pirkei d'Rebi Eliezer, page 45 (Sanh. 5; Pirḳe R. El. 45); Rabbi Judah (Yehuda, Jehudah) said (Angel) Sammael (Samael Samil) entered into the (golden) calf and he was lowing (making a moo sound) to mislead (the children of) Israel (to worship the idol of the calf).
Comment 2. Who were the people who believed in idols?
Some of those who fled Egypt were not from the children of Israel.
Torah Exodus 12:37 And the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand men on foot, beside children.
Torah Exodus 12:38 And a mixed multitude (of peoples) went up (out of Egypt) also with them (the children of Israel); and flocks, and herds, including a large number of cattle.
2a. Those who believed in the idols are named in Jewish rabbinical literature.
The Quran is able to combine and correctly explain the Jewish story from rabbis of the Golden Calf and Hashem (Allaah) and Prophet Moses Musa and Satan Shaitan and Yanus and Yambrus and Michah and the Children of Israel that appears to be a more recent Jewish hadith story compared to the faulty Jewish hadith story of Angel Samael (Sammael Samil) and the golden calf.
In the more recent Jewish story from rabbis the two sons of Bilam (Bilaam, Balaam, Balam) were two Egyptian sorcerers (magicians) Yanus and Yambrus whom with the help of Michah (Micha) they made a golden calf idol near Mount Sinai Horeb (Talmud and Midrash, The Book of Sh'mos, The Book of Shmos, p.315-322. Midrash is commentary on the Torah Taurat).
Quran 2:2 Koran 2:2 This (Quran) is the book of guidance for those (people) who fear and love Allaah.
Quran 2:4 Koran 2:4 And who believe in that which has been revealed to you (Prophet Muhammad) and that which was revealed before you (to Prophet Moses Musa in the Torah Taurat and to Prophet Jesus Isa in the Gospel Injil and to the other prophets) and firmly believe in the hereafter.
Quran 2:26 Koran 2:26 From Allaah come stories that give guidance, these are stories about things as small as a mosquito to stories about larger things and those who believe know it is the truth from Allaah but those who have no faith say, “What does Allaah want to teach us in this story?” (Meaning- “What use is there in this story?”) By this He (Allaah) causes many to go on the wrong path and many He (Allaah) guides to the right path. The people who are misled (on the wrong path) are those people who are disobedient to Allaah.
Note 1. There is purpose and wisdom in every story in the Torah Taurat, Gospel Injil and Koran Quran.
2b. Some people have associated Samiri in the Quran to Samarians who lived after the time of Prophet Moses Musa.
In the same way some people might associate Bilam (Balaam) and Michah (Micha) in Jewish rabbinical stories from rabbis to people in the Tanakh Jewish Bible who lived after the time of Prophet Moses Musa.
2c. In Jewish stories by rabbis it is common to use biblical characters from other times in history.
In the same way the Quran brings the Pharaoh Firon, Korah Qarun and Haman Hamaan together in one time and one place to show the consequences of arrogance and to show how arrogance is passed from generation to generation.
See. Haman in the Koran.
https://sites.google.com/site/islamandthequran/haman-in-the-quran
Jewish stories from Rabbis often used talking animals as characters so as to separate the Torah Taurat of Allaah from human stories that were designed to teach a moral or religious lesson.
Some Jewish stories from rabbis are confirmed by the Quran as being correctly inspired (see Quran 20:85 comment 2c) and some other Jewish stories from rabbis that had religious errors are corrected by the Quran (see Quran 20:85 comment 2d).
The Quran contains Jewish rabbinical stories that were well known by the Jews in Yathrib as a way of showing the Jews that the Quran is the same as the Torah Taurat and the same as the stories with which they were familiar in Jewish rabbinical literature.
In this way the Quran is using stories to tell the Jews in Yathrib Arabia “listen to Me, I am your Allaah, listen to this Quran.”
Comment 3.
Note 1. The story of Samiri shows the Jews in Yathrib, Arabia that it is the function of Satin Shaitan (but not the duty of Angels) to try and lead humans astray.
Comment 4. See Quran 20:85, 20:87 and 20:96 comments.
See Quran 20:85 – 20:98 comments.
Quran 20:89 Koran 20:89 Did they (the children of Israel, the Hebrews) not see that it (the statue of the calf) could not reply one word to them (to answer any question) and that it possessed no power to harm them or to benefit them?
Comment 1. See Quran 20:85 – 20:98 comments.
Quran 20:90 Koran 20:90 And Prophet Aaron Harun had told them before (the return of Prophet Moses Musa), “My people, You are being tested (in your belief in Allaah) by this (statue of a calf), Your Lord (Allaah) is the Most Merciful, so follow me and obey my order.”
Comment 1. See Quran 20:85 – 20:98 comments.
Quran 20:91 Koran 20:91 But they said (to Prophet Aaron Harun), "We shall not stop devoting ourselves to it (the statue of a calf) until Prophet Moses Musa returns to us."
Comment 1. See Quran 20:85 – 20:98 comments.
Quran 20:92 Koran 20:92 He (Prophet Moses Musa) said, “Aaron Harun, What prevented you (from correcting the people) when you saw them going astray, – (Continued Quran 20:93).
Comment 1. See Quran 20:85 – 20:98 comments.
Quran 20:93 Koran 20:93 – that you did not (tell them to) follow me? Did you disobey my order?
Comment 1. See Quran 20:85 – 20:98 comments.
Quran 20:94 Koran 20:94 He (Prophet Aaron Harun) said, “O son of my mother, do not seize me by my beard nor by (the hair on) my head, I feared that you (Prophet Moses Musa) would say, ‘You (Prophet Aaron Harun) have caused division among the Children of Israel and you (Prophet Aaron Harun) did not follow my word (to wait for me Moses Musa to return to you Aaron Harun as I Moses Musa promised I would return after my Moses Musa’s meeting with Allaah on Mount Sinai Horeb).’”
Comment 1. See Quran 7:150 and 20:85 – 20:98 comments.
Quran 20:95 Koran 20:95 (Prophet Moses Musa) said, “And what do you have to say, Samiri?
Comment 1. See Quran 20:85, 20:87, 20:88 and 20:96 comments.
Quran 20:96 Koran 20:96 He (Samiri) replied: "I saw what they (the other people) did not see (which was the arrival of a messenger which Allaah had sent to look at the people of Prophet Moses Musa after Prophet Moses Musa had departed) so I took a handful (of dust) from the footprint of the Messenger (of Allaah, Angel Samael Samil), and threw it (of my own free will onto the fire that contained the ornaments used to make the golden calf) as my mind (through the whispering of Satin Shaitan) suggested to me” (so Samiri chose to do the evil suggestion of Satan Shaitan instead of rejecting that evil suggestion)."
Comment 1. Who is the messenger in the story of Saamari?
Who is the messenger in the story of Samari?
Who is the messenger in the story of Sameri?
Who is the messenger in the story of Samiri?
Who is the messenger in the story of Samirii?
Who is the messenger in the story of Sameri?
Who is the messenger in the story of Samira?
Who is the messenger in the story of Samiriyy?
Who is the messenger in the story of Samri?
Who is the messenger in the story of Samariy?
The messenger in the story of Saamari is Angel Samil (Samael Sammael).
The messenger in the story of Samari is Angel Samil (Samael Sammael).
The messenger in the story of Sameri is Angel Samil (Samael Sammael).
The messenger in the story of Samiri is Angel Samil (Samael Sammael).
The messenger in the story of Samirii is Angel Samil (Samael Sammael).
The messenger in the story of Sameri is Angel Samil (Samael Sammael).
The messenger in the story of Samira is Angel Samil (Samael Sammael).
The messenger in the story of Samiriyy is Angel Samil (Samael Sammael).
The messenger in the story of Samri is Angel Samil (Samael Sammael).
The messenger in the story of Samariy is Angel Samil (Samael Sammael).
Comment 2. How does the Quran correct the Jewish understanding of Angel Samael (Sammael Samil)?
In Pirke de Rabbi Eliezer, Pirkei d'Rebi Eliezer, page 45 (Sanh. 5; Pirḳe R. El. 45); Rabbi Judah (Yehuda, Jehudah) said (Angel) Sammael (Samael Samil) entered into the (golden) calf and he was lowing (making a moo sound) to mislead (the children of) Israel (to worship the idol of the calf).
Quran 20:96 corrects the religious error in this Jewish story by rabbis by showing that it was the dust in the footprint of Angel Samael (Sammael Samil) that had been put in the statue of the golden calf and not the Angel. In other words the Angel of Allaah was not promoting idol worship.
What the golden calf did was by the permission of Allaah.
What Samiri did was to choose to do the evil suggestion of Satan Shaitan instead of rejecting that evil suggestion.
The Quran corrects this story from humans by completely separating Angel Samael (Sammael Samil) from Satan Shaitan.
In Jewish stories by rabbis Angel Samael (Sammael Samil) is sometimes used for the name of Satan Shaitan when Angel Samael (Sammael Samil) appears to want humans to do evil in some Talmud (stories of Jewish ceremonial law and legend) and in some Kabbalah (stories that are a Jewish spiritual interpretation of the Torah Taurat).
In other Jewish stories by rabbis Angel Samael (Sammael Samil) is the Angel of Death (Holy Kabbalah, Arthur Edward Waite, 255).
The Quran shows the Jews in Yathrib Arabia how to correctly understand this Jewish story from humans.
It is possible for Allaah to have an angel test a human like the story in the Book of Job in Tanakh Jewish scripture however in the story of the golden calf the human named Samiri has a name which is similar to Samil to show that the evil behaviour is not coming from Angel Samil who is observing but is from a human named Samiri.
Comment 3. See Quran 20:85, 20:87 and 20:88 comments.
Quran 20:97 Koran 20:97 (Prophet Moses Musa) said, "Go away (Samiri), and your punishment in this life shall be to say (to anyone you see), ‘have no contact with me’ and (in the Hereafter) you have a promise (of Allaah’s judgement for what you did) that shall not fail (to be fulfilled), Now look at your god (the golden calf idol) to whom you have become a devoted worshipper; we (Prophet Moses Musa) shall burn it (the golden calf idol) and scatter the ashes in the sea."
Comment 1. In Quran 20:97 Samiri represents a warning to the stone idol worshippers (in Mecca Arabia today in Makkah Saudi Arabia) that life in this world for stone idol worshippers is the worst life (a life that is like having no contact with any human as a reminder that every human will enter the hereafter alone) and Allaah has promised a severe punishment to the stone idol worshippers in the hereafter where they shall loose the mercy of Allaah.
Comment 2. Samiri is an important name because it makes clear to the Jews in Yathrib Arabia the difference between humans and angels and Satan Shaitan which are confused in the Jewish story by rabbis of the golden calf and Angel Samil (Sammael Samael).
In Quran 20:97 Samiri is the correction to a Jewish story where Samiri represents a human servant of Allaah who has free will to accept evil or reject evil.
Satan Shaitan represents an unwilling servant of Allaah because Satan Shaitan always encourages evil.
All angels represent willing servants of Allaah because Angels always willingly do what Allaah has commanded.
Quran 20:98 Koran 20:98 Your Allaah is the only Allaah. There is no other Allaah but Him. His (Allaah’s) knowledge embraces all things.
Comment 1. Quran 20:98 is the final lesson in the story of Samiri showing that humans and angels and Satan Shaitan are all willing or unwilling servants of Allaah.
Quran 19:93 Koran 19:93 There is no one in the heavens and the earth who does not come to the Most Merciful (Allaah) except as a servant.
Comment 2. Quran 20:98 is a reminder that the Torah Taurat and Gospel Injil and Koran Quran are guidance for good human behaviour.
3000 years ago the Torah Taurat warned against the evil of idol worship and human sacrifice which existed in the world and offered an alternate view of a life that is righteous.
2000 years ago the Gospel Injil warned against the evil of idol worship and human sacrifice which existed in the world and offered an alternate view of a life that is righteous by confirming the truth of the Torah Taurat.
1400 years ago some stone idol worshippers in Mecca Arabia buried their unwanted female babies alive as human sacrifices to their stone idols and the Koran Quran warned against the evil of idol worship and human sacrifice which existed in the world and offered an alternate view of a life that is righteous by confirming the truth of both the Torah Taurat and the Gospel Injil.
The good news message from Allaah for Jews and Christians delivered 1400 years ago by Prophet Muhammad in Quran 28:54, Quran 34:37 and Quran 57:28.
1. Jews and Christians who follow their Book and also believe the Quran shall receive a double reward in the hereafter in Quran 28:54, Quran 34:37 and Quran 57:28.
2. Jews who follow the Tanakh Jewish scripture and believe the Quran are correctly observing the Torah Taurat.
3. Christians who follow the Gospels and believe the Quran are correctly observing the Gospel Injil.
4. Muslims who follow the Quran so that it agrees with the Tanakh Jewish scripture and the Gospel Injil are correctly observing the Quran.
Quran 28:53 Koran 28:53 And when it (the Quran) is recited to them (the Jews who truly believe the Torah Taurat and the Christians who truly believe the Gospel Injil), they (those Jews and Christians) say, “We believe in it (the Koran Quran). It is the truth from our Lord (Allaah). Even before it (the Quran was revealed to us) we were of those (Jews and Christians) who submitted (to Allaah. The English word submitter is the Arabic word Muslim. Islam the religion means submission and Muslim the believer means submitter. Submitter and submission for the Muslim people is in Quran 47:19 “…there is no Allaah except Allaah …” and submitter and submission for the Jewish people is in Torah Exodus 20:2 “.... You shall have no other gods before Me Allaah” and submitter and submission for the Christian people is in the Gospel of Jesus Isa by Luke 4:8 “… You shall worship the Lord your Allaah, and him only shall you serve” meaning Allaah inspired the same belief of Islam which is an Arabic word meaning submission, to Allaah in Judaism, Christianity, Islam and in others). - (Continued in Quran 28:54).
Note 1. The Quran confirms the Torah Taurat and explains the story of Jesus in the Gospel of Mark, Matthew, Luke and John.
Quran 28:54 Koran 28:54 They (the Jews who truly believe the Torah Taurat and the Christians who truly believe the Gospel Injil and also believe the Quran) shall be given their reward twice (in Quran 28:54 meaning twofold in Quran 34:37 meaning double in Quran 57:28) because they are steadfast (in their belief in Allaah) and they repel evil with good (deeds) and they spend (in charity) from what We (Allaah) have provided to them. (Jews and Christians who follow their Book in Quran 5:68 and also believe the Quran will receive a double reward in the hereafter in Quran 28:54, Quran 34:37 and Quran 57:28 meaning the reward for every good deed they do will be doubled because they believed the Quran which tells the Jewish people to follow the Torah Taurat which is their eternal covenant between Allaah and the Hebrew people forever and tells the Christian people to follow the Gospel Injil which is explained in the Quran and tells the Muslim people to follow the Quran in Quran 2:40, Quran 2:41, Quran 2:62, Quran 2:106, Quran 3:93, Quran 4:123, Quran 5:43, Quran 5:47, Quran 5:48, Quran 5:69 and Quran 13:39).
Note 1. Jews and Christians who follow their book and also believe the Quran will receive their reward twice in the Hereafter.
Quran 34:37 Koran 34:37 – It is not your wealth or your children that shall bring you close to Us (Allaah), but the person who believes and does good (deeds). Theirs shall be a twofold reward (twice in Quran 28:54, twofold in Quran 34:37 and double in Quran 57:28) for what they (the Jews like Quran 3:113 - 3:115 and the Christians like Quran 5:82 - 5:85 who follow their Book in Quran 5:68 and also believe the Quran) did (because they believed the Quran which tells the Jewish people to follow the Torah Taurat which is their eternal covenant between Allaah and the Hebrew people forever and tells the Christian people to follow the Gospel Injil which is explained in the Quran and tells the Muslim people to follow the Quran is confirmed in Quran 2:40, Quran 2:41, Quran 2:62, Quran 2:106, Quran 3:93, Quran 4:123, Quran 5:43, Quran 5:47, Quran 5:48, Quran 5:69 and Quran 13:39) and they (those Jews and Christians) shall live secure in the high dwellings (in Paradise Jannah).- (Continued in Quran 34:38).
Note 1. Jews and Christians who follow their Book and also believe the Quran will be given a twofold reward in the hereafter.
Quran 34:38 Koran 34:38 (Jews and Christians who followed their Book and also believed the Quran will receive their reward twice in Quran 28:54, twofold in Quran 34:37 and double in Quran 57:28 in the hereafter however) Those (Jews and the Christians who did not believe the Quran for example if Jews did not correctly observe the Torah Taurat by keeping the Sabbath Day which is their everlasting covenant with Allaah in every generation forever or if Christians did not correctly observe the Gospel Injil where Prophet Jesus said he is not Allaah "Allaah is my Allaah and your Allaah" meaning Allaah is my Lord and your Lord and "Allaah is my Father and your Father" meaning Allaah is my Creator and your Creator in Gospel of John 20:17 and) who strive against Our (Allaah’s) revelations by trying to make them (Allaah’s revelations) to fail (for example Jesus is the son of Allaah means Jesus is the servant of Allaah delivering the message of Allaah so his mention with angels in Gospel of Mark 13:32 and Gospel of Matthew 24:36 means that angel messengers of Allaah and human messengers of Allaah both do not know the hour meaning do not confuse angel and human messengers with Allaah because only Allaah knows the hour but His angel and human messengers like Jesus and Moses and angels do not know the hour meaning pray only to Allaah and not to the angel and human messengers of Allaah because those who do), they shall be brought to the punishment (of Hell Jahannam in the Hereafter).
Quran 57:28 Koran 57:28 All you (the Jews and the Christians in Quran 57:27 and Quran 57:29) that believe, Fear Allaah and believe in His (Allaah’s) messenger and He (Allaah) shall give you a double portion of His (Allaah’s) mercy and provide for you a Light (of righteous knowledge meaning Jews who follow the Tanakh Jewish scripture and believe the Quran are correctly observing the Torah Taurat and meaning Christians who follow the Gospel and believe the Quran are correctly observing the Gospel Injil and Muslims who follow the Quran so that it agrees with the Tanakh Jewish scripture and the Gospel Injil are correctly observing the warning from Allaah in Quran 4:136 that whoever has no faith in Allaah’s Books has strayed far away from Allaah because the Books of Allaah are the light) by which you shall walk (on the correct path in Quran 2:40 - 2:41, Quran 4:136 and Quran 28:48 - 28:49) and (in the hereafter) He (Allaah) shall forgive you (of your past sins). Allaah is forgiving and merciful. (Jews like Quran 3:113 - 3:115 and Christians like Quran 5:82 - 5:85 who follow their Book in Quran 5:68 and also believe the Quran will receive their reward twice in Quran 28:54, twofold in Quran 34:37 and double in Quran 57:28 in the hereafter meaning the reward for every good deed they do will be doubled because they believed the Quran which tells the Jewish people to follow the Torah Taurat which is their eternal covenant between Allaah and the Hebrew people forever and tells the Christian people to follow the Gospel Injil which is explained in the Quran and tells the Muslim people to follow the Quran is confirmed in Quran 2:40, Quran 2:41, Quran 2:62, Quran 2:106, Quran 3:93, Quran 4:123, Quran 5:43, Quran 5:47, Quran 5:48, Quran 5:69 and Quran 13:39). - (Continued in Quran 57:29).
Note 1. Jews and Christians who follow their Book and also believe the Quran will be given a double reward in the hereafter.
Quran 57:29 Koran 57:29 (Jews and Christians who followed their Book and also believed the Quran will receive their reward twice in Quran 28:54, twofold in Quran 34:37 and double in Quran 57:28 in the hereafter) so that the people of the Book (the Jews and the Christians who did not believe the Quran for example if Jews did not correctly observe the Torah Taurat by keeping the Sabbath Day which is their everlasting covenant with Allaah in every generation forever or if Christians did not correctly observe the Gospel Injil where Prophet Jesus said he is not Allaah "Allaah is my Allaah and your Allaah" meaning Allaah is my Lord and your Lord and "Allaah is my Father and your Father" meaning Allaah is my Creator and your Creator in Gospel of John 20:17 and that Jesus is the son of Allaah means Jesus is the servant of Allaah delivering the message of Allaah so his mention with angels in Gospel of Mark 13:32 and Gospel of Matthew 24:36 means that angel messengers of Allaah and human messengers of Allaah both do not know the hour meaning do not confuse angel and human messengers with Allaah because only Allaah knows the hour but His angel and human messengers like Jesus and Moses and angels do not know the hour meaning pray only to Allaah and not to the angel and human messengers of Allaah because those who do) may know (in the hereafter) that they do not have power over anything from the bounty of Allaah and that (all) the bounty is in Allaah’s hand. He gives it (Allaah's bounty) to whom He (Allaah) wills. And Allaah is the possessor of the great bounty (of Paradise Jannah).
Quran 4:40 Koran 4:40 Allaah is not unjust not even as much as the weight of an atom (to people such as Jews and Christians and Muslims and all others). When any good (deed is done) He (Allaah) doubles it (meaning Allaah doubles the value of your good deeds) and He (Allaah) gives a great reward (of Paradise Jannah in the hereafter).
Note 1. The good news from Allaah for Muslims delivered 1400 years ago by Prophet Muhammad in Quran 2:265, Quran 4:40 and Quran 33:31 is that the reward to Muslims for doing good deeds is also doubled in the hereafter meaning the reward for every good deed they do in this world will be doubled in the hereafter.
Quran 42:15 Koran 42:15 So (Prophet Muhammad) invite (the people to Allaah), and stay on the correct path as you (Prophet Muhammad) are commanded and do not follow their (the peoples) desires (concerning religion) but say, "I believe what Allaah has sent down of the Book (in the Quran and in the Torah Taurat in Quran 2:41, Quran 3:3, Quran 3:93, Quran 5:43, Quran 5:44, Quran 5:68, Quran 20:133 and in the Gospel Injil in Quran 3:3, Quran 5:47, Quran 5:68 and Quran 20:133) and I am commanded that I do justice between you (the Jews, Christians and Muslims). Allaah is our Lord and your Lord (meaning Allaah is the Lord of the Muslims and the Lord of the Jews and the Christians). For us (Muslims is the responsibility for) our deeds and for you (Jews and Christians is the responsibility for) your deeds. There is no argument between us (Muslims) and between you (the Jews and the Christians because Allaah has revealed the same message to all of us to worship Allaah who created you and do good in the world and reject evil in the world). Allaah shall bring us (Muslims and Christians and Jews and all humankind) together and to Him (Allaah) is the final destination (in the hereafter in Quran 2:62, Quran 3:64, Quran 4:123, Quran 5:48 and Quran 5:69).”
Note 1. There is no argument between Muslims and Jews and Christians because the Tanakh Jewish scripture and the Gospel Injil and the Quran contain the same message to worship Allaah and strive for all that is good.
Quran 28:51 Koran 28:51 And We (Allaah) have made the Word (of Allaah in the Quran) to reach them (the stone idol worshippers of Makkah Arabia) so that they might be reminded (of Allaah, their creator).
Quran 28:48 Koran 28:48 But when the truth came to them (the stone idol worshippers of Makkah Arabia) from Us (Allaah), they said, “Why is he (Prophet Muhammad M Mim م M-uhammad م-uhammad) not given (signs) like what was given to Prophet Moses Musa (represented by Mount Sinai S’ Sin س Sin-ai س-ai)? But did they (the stone idol worshippers of Makkah Arabia) not disbelieve in what was given to Prophet Moses Musa in the past? (Because) they say, “(They are both only books about magic) two magic (books the Torah Taurat T Ta ط Ta-urat ط-urat given by Allaah to Prophet Moses Musa and the Quran Q Qaf ق Qaf-uran ق-uran given by Allaah to Prophet Muhammad) supporting each other” and they (the stone idol worshippers of Makkah Arabia) say, “In all (that is in the Torah Taurat and the Quran) we do not believe.”
Quran 28:49 Koran 28:49 Say (Prophet Muhammad to the stone idol worshippers of Makkah Arabia), “Then bring a Book from Allaah that gives better guidance than these two (the Torah Taurat and the Quran) so that I (Prophet Muhammad) may follow it, if you are telling the truth.”
Note 1. The best guidance is the Quran and the Torah Taurat meaning both are correctly understood when they confirm and explain each other.
Quran 3:199 Koran 3:199 And there are among the people of the Scripture (the Jews and the Christians) those who believe in Allaah and in that which has been revealed to you (Prophet Muhammad in the Quran) and revealed to them (in the Torah Taurat and in the Gospel Injil), (they) humble themselves to Allaah. They do not trade away (abandon) the revelations of Allaah for a little gain (by wrongly using the revelations of Allaah to increase their pride or arrogance), for them is a reward with their Lord. Allaah is quick to account (for what you do).
Note 1. The Quran confirms the Tanakh Jewish scripture is correct and explains the story of Prophet Jesus Isa in the Gospel of Mark, Matthew, Luke and John.
Quran 3:113 Koran 3:113 Not all of them (the Jews of Yathrib Arabia later Medina Arabia today Madinah Saudi Arabia) are the same, some of the people of the Scripture (the Jews of Yathrib) stand for what is right (correct) and they recite the revelations of Allaah during the hours of the night prostrating themselves in prayer (to Allaah).
Quran 3:114 Koran 3:114 Those (Jews of Yathrib) believe in Allaah and the Last Day and they do what is right and forbid what is wrong and they are quick to do good deeds and they are among the righteous.
Quran 3:115 Koran 3:115 And whatever good they (the Jews of Yathrib) do, it shall be accepted and Allaah knows very well who are the righteous (among the Jews of Yathrib).
Note 1. The righteous among the Jews were promised Paradise Jannah in the time of Prophet Muhammad and this promise would apply to the righteous among Jews worldwide.
Quran 5:82 Koran 5:82 "... And you shall find that those who say, “We are Christians” have the most affection to the believers (of Allaah, the Muslims in Yathrib Arabia). That is because the priests and monks are not proud (meaning they love Allaah more than they love their pride).
Quran 5:83 Koran 5:83 When they (the Christian priests and monks) listen to what has been revealed to the messenger (Prophet Muhammad), you shall see their eyes overflow with tears because they recognise it is the truth (from Allaah). They say, “Our Lord (Allaah), we believe, so write us as among the witnesses (that recognize the truth from Allaah).”
Quran 5:84 Koran 5:84 Why should we (Christian priests and monks) not have faith in Allaah and in the truth that has come to us since we hope that our Lord (Allaah) shall admit us (to paradise) with the righteous people?
Quran 5:85 Koran 5:85 For what they (the Christian priests and monks) said they are rewarded with gardens with rivers flowing underneath (in Paradise) where they shall live forever. That is the reward for those (people) that do good.
Note 1. The righteous among the Christians were promised Paradise Jannah in the time of Prophet Muhammad and this promise would apply to the righteous among the Christians worldwide.
Quran 2:62 Koran 2:62 (In the hereafter) truly those (Muslims) who believed and those who became Jews, Christians and Sabians, whoever believed in Allaah and the Last Day (The Day of Resurrection) and did good deeds, they shall have their reward from their Lord, and they shall not fear or grieve (and this is confirmed in Quran 6:158 for those in the hereafter who “believed” and did good deeds. Quran 5:69 repeats Quran 2:62 meaning stop and think about what Allaah is saying in these verses confirming what is in the Hebrew Bible and the Gospel Injil of the promise of Paradise Jannah from Allaah in the books of Allaah on the Day of Resurrection and Judgement for those who “believed” and did good deeds. The Quran brings the same truth which Allaah brought to the Jewish people in the Hebrew Bible and to the Christian people in the Gospel Injil of Jesus Isa by Mark, Matthew, Luke and John. The Quran is a confirmer of what came before it in the same way as the Gospel Injil is a confirmer of what came before it meaning the Books of Allaah confirm each other as proof Allaah is real and as proof His promise is real as explained in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQ3o3ybc-KA showing that without His permission no one can change His words in His Books which are with all humans today and until the Day of Judgement so that you can believe Allaah is real and His promise is real).
Note 1. The Jews who believed in Allaah and did good deeds go to Paradise Jannah.
Note 2. The Christians who believed in Allaah and did good deeds go to Paradise Jannah.
Note 3. The Sabians who believed in Allaah and did good deeds go to Paradise Jannah.
Note 4. The Muslims who believed in Allaah and did good deeds go to Paradise Jannah.
Note 5. Everyone who believed in Allaah and did good deeds goes to Paradise Jannah.
Note 6. This revelation is so important that Allaah has repeated it in Quran 5:69
In Quran 2:62 and Quran 5:69 the promise of Paradise Jannah is not for those who “believe” but only for those who “believed” meaning who died (past tense) because it is not until the time of death that your true belief or disbelief and your good and evil deeds are judged,
Allaah repeated Quran 2:62 and Quran 5:69 two times because it is only with Quran 2:62 and Quran 5:69 that there are no contradictions within the Quran and between the Quran and the Torah Taurat and between the Quran and the Gospel Injil as proof in Quran 4:82 to the Jews in the time of Prophet Muhammad who are promised Paradise Jannah in Quran 3:113-3:115 and to the Christians in the time of Prophet Muhammad who are promised Paradise Jannah in Quran 5:82-5:85 and to the stone idol worshippers 1400 years ago who are not promised Paradise Jannah in Quran 3:85 and to all people today and in the future that the Quran is from Allaah because the Quran contains no contradictions.
If Quran 2:62 and Quran 5:69 did not exist then it would be proof that the Quran was not from Allaah because without Quran 2:62 and Quran 5:69 the Quran would contradict its self and contradict the Torah Taurat and contradict the Gospel Injil.
Quran 2:62 and Quran 5:69 is good news for Jews, Christians, Sabians, Muslims and all the people in the world confirming they will all come together again in a life after death.
Quran 3:19 Koran 3:19 The religion near Allaah is submission (to Adonai Allaah Elohim God G-d HaShem Jehovah Yahweh YHWH. In Quran 3:18 “there is no Allaah but Allaah” then in Quran 3:19 “The religion near Allaah is submission” to Allaah then in Quran 3:20 “submit yourselves to Allaah.” Islam has two meanings, the general meaning is submission in Quran 3:19 meaning anyone who submits to Allaah such as Prophet Abraham Ibrahim in the past and the Jews who are promised Paradise Jannah in the time of Prophet Muhammad in Quran 3:113 – 3:115 and the Christians who are promised Paradise Jannah in the time of Prophet Muhammad in Quran 5:82 – 5:85 and all humans in future in the hereafter who “believed” and did good deeds including Jews and Christians and others in Quran 2:62, Quran 5:69 and Quran 6:158. If Quran 3:19 had the specific meaning of “Islam” instead of the general meaning of “submission” then it would mean no people except the people from the religion of Islam would be in Paradise Jannah meaning all the prophets and people before Islam would be the losers in the hereafter which is not correct because it contradicts other verses in the Quran and it does not make sense meaning the word Islam in Quran 3:19 is the general meaning “submission” and not the specific meaning “Islam”). Those who were given the Scripture (the Jews with the Torah Taurat and the Christians with the Gospel Injil) did not differ except from mutual jealousy after knowledge had come to them (in the Torah Taurat and the Gospel Injil). And whoever disbelieves in the revelations of Allaah then surely Allaah is strict in calling them to account (in the hereafter meaning Muslims who follow Quran 47:19 “…there is no Allaah except Allaah …” and Jews who follow Torah Exodus 20:2 “.... You shall have no other gods before Me Allaah” and Christians who follow the Gospel of Jesus Isa by Luke 4:8 “… You shall worship the Lord your Allaah, and him only shall you serve” and who did good deeds are all promised Paradise Jannah in Quran 2:62, Quran 4:123, Quran 5:69, Quran 6:158 and Quran 41:8. The specific meaning of Islam is revealed 3 months before the death of Prophet Muhammad in the farewell speech of Prophet Muhammad in Quran 5:3 which Allaah tells us is the last verse in the Quran because Allaah says He has “perfected and completed” the religion meaning the Quran and approved the name of the religion as “Islam” in Quran 5:3. This confirms that the meaning of Islam in Quran 3:19 is the general meaning “submission” meaning every human from the beginning of time until the Day of Resurrection who submitted to Allaah and did good deeds will be successful in the hereafter as confirmed in Quran 2:62, Quran 5:69, Quran 4:123, Quran 6:158 and Quran 41:8 showing that the correct meaning of this verse is “the religion near Allaah is submission” to Allaah from the beginning of time until the Day of Resurrection. Judaism is the religion of submission in Torah Exodus 20:2, Christianity is the religion of submission in Gospel of Jesus Isa by Luke 4:8 and Islam is the religion of submission in Quran 47:19. This is confirmed and explained in Quran 3:64 "let us come to an agreement between Jews and Christians and us Muslims that we shall worship no one but Allaah" and Quran 5:48 "For each community of Jews, Christians and Muslims Allaah has appointed a divine law and a way of submission. If Allaah willed Allaah could have made Jews, Christians and Muslims one community. But Allaah tests the Jews, the Christians and the Muslims by what Allaah has given you in the Torah Taurat and the Gospel Injil and the Koran Quran to show who is best in behaviour. So strive for all that is good. To Allaah you shall all return and Allaah shall then inform you in the Hereafter about the correctness of the religious matters in which you the Jews, the Christians and the Muslims argue among each other").
Quran 3:85 Koran 3:85 And whoever seeks a religion other than submission (to Allah Adonai Allaah Elohim G-d Allah HaShem Jehovah Yahweh YHWH which includes every human from the beginning of time until the end of time, for example stone idol worship) it shall not be accepted by Him (Allaah) in the Hereafter and (such a person) shall be one of the losers (in the hereafter. The word Islam has two meanings, the general meaning is submission in Quran 3:85 meaning anyone who submits to Allaah).
Note 1. The Muslim religion Islam is the religion of submission to Allaah (Quran 3:64).
Note 2. The Jewish religion Judaism is the religion of submission to Allaah (Quran 3:64).
Note 3. The Christian religion Christianity is the religion of submission to Allaah (Quran 3:64).
Note 4. Islam means submission and the Quran tells the Jews to observe the Sabbath Day meaning all Jews who observe the Sabbath Day are submitting to Allaah which means the word in Quran 3:85 is submission otherwise it would contradict other verses in the Quran and the Quran says it has no contradictions.
This means only one word "submission" is correct because it is the word with which there are no contradictions in the Quran.
Quran 3:64 Koran 3:64 Say, “O People of the Scripture (the Jews and the Christians) let us come to an agreement between you and us (Muslims), that we shall worship no one but Allaah, and that we shall ascribe no partner to Him (meaning, there is only one Allaah, we pray only to our creator the one Allaah and no one else, not to sons, not to saints, not to any idol), and that none of us shall take others for Lords instead of Allaah.” And if they turn away, then say, “Bear witness that we have submitted to Him (Allaah).”
Note 1. Allaah does not require humans to all be in one religion (Quran 5:48).
Note 2. Allaah does require that every religion worship only Allaah (Quran 3:85).
Note 3. Allaah says if the Jews and the Christians and others worship only Allaah like the Muslims worship only Allaah then the Jews and the Christians and others are correctly guided by Allaah (Quran 3:64).
Quran 4:123 Koran 4:123 (Entry to Paradise Jannah) shall not be based on your (the Muslim's) desires or on the desires of the people of the Scripture (the Jews and the Christians). (Instead) whoever does wrong (on the earth) shall earn (the punishment for the wrong) and that person shall not find any protector or helper other than Allaah (in the hereafter).
Note 1. Allaah will judge Muslims and Christians and Jews and every creation justly in the hereafter.
Quran 4:153 Koran 4:153 (Now) the people of the Scripture (some of the Jews of Yathrib Arabia later Medina Arabia today Madinah Saudi Arabia) ask you (Prophet Muhammad) to cause a Scripture book to come down (in front of them) from heaven. (In times of the past) they asked Prophet Moses Musa for even more than that when they said, "Show Allaah in front of us," and then they were struck with thunder and lightning for their disbelief in Allaah. Then they worshipped the calf even after clear proof of Allaah had come to them (such as during their escape from Egypt). Even after all that (sliding into disbelief) We (Allaah as revealed through Angel Gabriel Jibril and recited to Prophet Muhammad) forgave them (the children of Israel) and We (Allaah) gave Prophet Moses Musa clear proof for his authority (as a messenger and prophet).
Note 1. Allaah is the most forgiving.
Quran 5:48 Koran 5:48 And to you (Prophet Muhammad) We (Allaah) revealed the Scripture (the Quran) with the truth that confirmed the Scripture that was before it (in the Gospel Injil and the Torah Taurat) and (for you Prophet Muhammad to be) a guardian over it (the Quran). So judge between them (the Jews, the Christians and the Muslims) by what Allaah has revealed (to you Prophet Muhammad) and do not let their desires move you away from the truth that has come to you. For each (community of Jews, Christians and Muslims) We (Allaah) have appointed a divine law and a way (of religion). If Allaah willed He (Allaah) could have made you (the Jews, the Christians and the Muslims) one community. But He (Allaah) tests you (the Jews, the Christians and the Muslims) by what He (Allaah) has given you (in the Torah Taurat and the Gospel Injil and the Koran Quran to show who is best in behaviour). So strive for all that is good. To Allaah you shall all return and He (Allaah) shall then inform you (in the Hereafter) about (the correctness of) the religious matters in which you (the Jews, the Christians and the Muslims) argue among each other.
Note 4. Allaah commands the Jews, the Christians and the Muslims to do what is good according to what Allaah has given them in the Torah Taurat and the Gospel Injil and the Koran Quran to show which humans are the best in behaviour.
Note 5. Allaah says that on the Day of Resurrection and Judgement in the hereafter every human will return to Allaah and Allaah shall inform them about the religious matters about which they argued.
Note 6. Allaah protects the Torah Taurat for every Jewish generation until the Day of Judgement (Quran 5:48).
Note 7. Allaah protects the Gospel Injil for every Christian generation until the Day of Judgement (Quran 5:48) in the following way.
Prophet Jesus Isa did not write anything because everything Prophet Jesus Isa taught by his mouth was already written in the Tanakh Jewish scripture meaning Prophet Jesus Isa did not add or subtract from what is in Tanakh Jewish scripture.
The four Gospel Injil are four reports about Prophet Jesus Isa meaning Prophet Jesus Isa never wrote anything and what he said was passed by mouth until it was written many years later.
Quran 5:68 says observe the Torah Taurat and the Gospel Injil and Quran 5:47 tells Christians to judge by the Gospel Injil (not by the other books in the Christian New Testament Bible because what Paul teaches contradicts what Jesus is teaching in the Gospel Injil and anything about fallen angels found in the Book of Enoch and in the Book of Revelation are all rejected in Judaism because in the Hebrew Tanakh scripture angels always obey Allaah. Jewish people do not use the Christian produced Old Testament Bible because many contain wrong translations of the Hebrew Tanakh) meaning whatever in the Gospel Injil is confirmed in the Jewish Torah Taurat came from Prophet Jesus Isa and whatever contradicts the Jewish Torah Taurat came from the unknown writers who are traditionally called Mark, Matthew, Luke and John in a test from Allaah described in 1 Kings 13:14 - 13:24 teaching that the word of Allaah will not change and do not believe anyone or any verse in Mark, Matthew, Luke or John which contradicts the teachings in the Tanakh which Prophet Jesus Isa said is with the Jewish people forever and will never change and must be followed forever by the Jewish people in Gospel of Matthew 5:17 - 5:20 and Gospel of Matthew 23:1 - 23:3. In this way a Christian can know what came from Prophet Jesus Isa confirming Tanakh and what did not come from Prophet Jesus Isa because it contradicts the Tanakh (which is the Torah law and the prophets and the writings like the Psalms) which Jesus was teaching in Gospel of Luke 24:44.
Note 8. Allaah protects the Koran Quran for every Muslim generation until the Day of Judgement (Quran 5:48).
Note 9. Entry to Paradise the Garden of Eden the Garden of Righteousness Jannah is not based on the question of Sunni or Shia or Muslim or Jew or Christian but it is based on your good behaviour towards all humans and creatures in this world and your relationship with Allaah (Quran 5:48).
Note 10. In the sight of humans Judaism and Christianity and Sabians and Islam are different religions.
Note 11. In the sight of Allaah Judaism and Christianity and Sabians and Islam are “different communities of Allaah” because they were all created by Allaah for only one reason which is “to submit to Allaah.”
Quran 6:158 Koran 6:158 "... belief in it (Allaah and the Day of Resurrection and Judgement) shall not help any soul …. if in belief (he or she) did not earn good (by doing righteous deeds in their life). ....”
.
Quran 41:8 Koran 41:8 “For those who believe and do good deeds, for them is an everlasting reward (in Paradise Jannah).”
Quran 48:14 Koran 48:14 To Allaah belong the dominion of the heavens and the earth. He (Allaah) forgives whom He (Allaah) will and punishes whom He (Allaah) will. Allaah is forgiving and merciful.
Note 1. Mercy and forgiveness and punishment in the hereafter is with Allaah.
Quran 98:5 Koran 98:5 They (the Jews and the Christians) were not commanded anything (from Allaah in the Torah Taurat and in the Gospel Injil) except that they (the Jews and the Christians) should worship Allaah and be faithful in religion to Him (Allaah) and establish prayer (only to the one Allaah who created them) and give charity (to the needy people). That is the correct religion of Allaah.
Note 1. Allaah explains why Judaism with the Torah Taurat and Christianity with the Gospel Injil and Islam with the Quran are the same belief in one Allaah who is the creator of every creation.
Note 2. Not all Christians and Jews and Muslims are the same meaning in every generation there are some Christians and Muslims and Jews who are correctly worshiping Allah.
The Christian and Jew who believed in one Allaah like the Muslim who believed in one Allaah and who did good deeds on the Earth will be successful (Quran 2:62 and Quran 5:69).
Note 3. The sins of the prophets is a reminder to humans not to elevate the prophets instead of elevating Allaah.
Moses Musa sinned by killing a man and the messiah king David Dawud sinned by adultery (represented in the story of a man who had one female sheep in the sin of ewe, the sin involving a female) and murder (represented in the story by another man who caused to die something that did not belong to him in the sin of ewe, the sin involving a female) and the messiah king Solomon Sulaiman sinned by marriage to foreign wives who brought idol worship to Israel so that every human who comes after them can know that when you repent and correct your behaviour God will forgive all your sins without a blood sacrifice in Psalm 32:5, Psalm 51:17 - 51:19 in Tanakh or Psalm 51:15 - 51:17 in a Christian Bible, 1 Kings 8:46 - 8:50, Ecclesiastes 7:20, Proverbs 24:16, Ezekiel 18:20 - 18:23, Isaiah 1:18, Isaiah 55:7, Hosea 6:6, Hosea 14:2 - 14:3 and Micah 6:6 - 6:8.
Note 4. Those Muslims in the past who elevated Prophet Muhammad after his death and those Jews who elevated Prophet Ezra in the time of Prophet Muhammad and those Christians who elevated Prophet Jesus Isa in the time of Prophet Muhammad will have problems because they elevated prophets instead of elevating only Allaah (Quran 3:64 and Quran 4:123).

The story of Samiri and the calf.
In the Quran Allaah showed the Jews in Yathrib the correct way to tell the story of Samiri and the calf which had faults in the way it was told by the rabbis in Yathrib Arabia.
Jews today have understood the correction to this story.
The latest version of this story by a rabbi is directed to Jews and Christians and Muslims as a moral lesson to humankind and shows how each generation retells stories as guidance to the people of their time.
See 1. The story of As-Samiri and the golden calf told by a rabbi who has been guided by the corrections to this story in the Quran.
