Understanding the Gospels.

Throughout the Gospel Jesus is teaching the Torah in the same way as every prophet in the Jewish Scripture is teaching the Torah.

The word of Allaah in the Gospel is everything that does not contradict the Tanakh Jewish Scripture.

Whatever contradicts the Tanakh Jewish Scripture did not come from Jesus but from the unknown writers of the Gospels.

The Gospels are a test to show who understands Allaah in the Tanakh Jewish Scripture as described in 1 Kings 13:14 - 13:24 teaching that the word of Allaah will not change and do not believe anyone who claims the word of Allaah has changed.

Introduction and what is the Gospel Injil?

Allaah gave the good news of Isaac Ishaq twice to Prophet Abraham Ibrahim.

Nowhere in the Quran did Allaah say anyone changed the written word of Allaah because the proof Allaah is real is that no one can change His written word in Quran 3:3, Quran 4:136, Quran 6:34, Quran 6:115, Quran 10:64, Quran 18:27 and Quran 30:30 except with their spoken words meaning in conversation for example in the story of the sacrifice of the son of Abraham Ibrahim no one could change the word of Allaah except in conversations when some Muslims said the son to be sacrificed was Ishaq and other Muslims said the son to be sacrificed was Ismail.

Notice that no Muslim changed the word of Allaah in the Quran except with their mouth in conversation and in the same way no Jew can change the word of Allaah in the Tanakh Jewish scripture except with their mouth in conversation.

Allaah gave the good news of Isaac Ishaq twice to Prophet Abraham Ibrahim.

In the story of Isaac Ishaq, Allaah gave Isaac Ishaq to Prophet Abraham Ibrahim twice.

The first time Allaah gave Isaac Ishaq to Prophet Abraham Ibrahim is in Quran 37:101 which is the good news of the birth of Isaac Ishaq.

The second time Allaah gave Isaac Ishaq to Prophet Abraham Ibrahim is in Quran 37:112 which is the good news that Allaah stopped the sacrifice of Isaac Ishaq and for a second time gave Isaac Ishaq to Abraham Ibrahim.

Why does Allaah say sacrifice your only son Isaac Ishaq in the Torah Taurat?

When Allaah says sacrifice your only son Isaac Ishaq in the Torah Taurat Allaah is reminding Prophet Abraham Ibrahim that he already gave one son to Allaah when he long ago sent Ishmael Ismail and his mother Hagar Hajar into the desert.

Allaah tests Prophet Abraham Ibrahim a second time by saying sacrifice your only son Isaac Ishaq who still lives with you.

Will Prophet Abraham Ibrahim refuse Allaah and say but I already gave you Ishmael Ismail and his mother Hagar Hajar?

Will Prophet Abraham Ibrahim refuse Allaah and say but you promised future generations for me from Isaac Ishaq?

Will Prophet Abraham Ibrahim sacrifice Isaac Ishaq who is the only son still living with him after he had already given Ishmael Ismail and his mother Hagar Hajar to Allaah in the desert?

Will Prophet Abraham Ibrahim give Allaah both his sons?

When Prophet Abraham Ibrahim shows he will obey Allaah then Allaah stops the test and fulfils His promise because Allaah always fulfils His promise.

In the story of sacrifice in Quran chapter 37 Allaah only blesses Prophet Abraham Ibrahim and his son Prophet Isaac Ishaq. Allaah has left no other blessing.

Prophet Isaac Ishaq is called the good news son in the Prophet Abraham Ibrahim story in Quran chapter 11, 15, 19, 29, 37 and 51.

When the Good News son is not named four times in Quran 15:53, 15:54, 15:55 and in Quran 51:28 it is Prophet Isaac Ishaq and this is the same in the story of the sacrifice in Quran 37:101 where the good news son is also not named because it is always the name Allaah gives to Prophet Isaac Ishaq.

When the Good News son is named five times in Quran 11:69, 11:71, 11:74 and Quran 29:27, 29:31 it is Prophet Isaac Ishaq and this is the same in the story of the sacrifice in Quran 37:112 where the good news son is also named Prophet Isaac Ishaq because Good News is always the name Allaah gives to Prophet Isaac Ishaq in the Prophet Abraham Ibrahim story in the Quran.

Allaah names Prophet Isaac Ishaq as the good news son 9 times in Quran chapter 11, 15, 19, 29 and 51.

Allaah names Prophet Isaac Ishaq four times in Quran chapter 37 twice as the good news son and twice by name.

In the story of the sacrifice in the Quran Allaah only blesses Prophet Abraham Ibrahim and his son Prophet Isaac Ishaq. Allaah has left no other blessing.

In the story of the vision dream of the sacrifice of the son of Prophet Abraham Ibrahim in Quran chapter 37 Allaah only blesses Prophet Abraham Ibrahim and his son Prophet Isaac Ishaq and leaves no other blessings in the story of the sacrifice and this famous vision dream is remembered in the next chapter Quran chapter 38 where Allaah blesses Prophet Abraham Ibrahim and Prophet Isaac Ishaq with the vision dream in Quran 38:45 – 38:47 and shows in the next verse that Prophet Ishmael Ismail was not the son in the vision dream and Prophet Ishmael Ismail was not living with his father during the vision dream by blessing Prophet Ishmael Ismail without his father and without the blessing of the vision dream in Quran 38:48.

This is confirmed in Quran 12:6 and in Torah Genesis 22:2.

In two famous vision dreams in the Quran Allaah blesses both the father and the son with the vision dream of the sacrifice of the son in Quran chapter 38 after the story of the sacrifice in Quran chapter 37 and Allaah blesses both the father and the son with the vision dream of the bowing of the Sun and the Moon and the eleven stars towards one star in Quran chapter 12 as proof the Quran confirms the Torah Taurat meaning as proof humans do not have the power to change the word of Allaah in the Quran and in the Torah Taurat because if humans could change the word of Allaah it would be proof that Allaah did not exist.

Before Ishmael Ismail was born Allaah promised his mother Hagar Hajar that Ishmael Ismail would have many descendants in Torah Genesis 16:8 - 16:11 meaning before the story of the sacrifice Allaah promised that both Ishmael Ismail and Isaac Ishaq would have children.

Allaah told Abraham Ibrahim in a vision dream to sacrifice Isaac Ishaq (in Quran 38:45 – 38:47 and Quran 12:6) who was the only son living with him (in Torah Genesis 22:2) meaning Ishmael Ismail was not living in Canaan today Palestine and Israel during.the vision dream (in Quran 38:48 where Ishmael Ismail is not blessed with the vision dream and Ishmael Ismail is not blessed with his father meaning the only son living with Abraham Ibrahim during the vision dream is Isaac Ishaq in the blessing of the vision dream in Quran 38:45 – 38:47 and Quran 12:6).

Abraham Ibrahim passed the test because he did not reject Allaah by saying “I will not sacrifice Isaac Ishaq because you promised future generations for me from Isaac Ishaq” or “I will not sacrifice Isaac Ishaq because I already gave you Ishmael Ismail and his mother Hagar Hajar in the desert” instead Abraham Ibrahim showed that he would give both his sons to Allaah and this is when Allaah stopped the sacrifice and gave Isaac Ishaq a second time to Abraham Ibrahim in Quran 37:112.

The choice of a first born animal or a first born son in a sacrifice does not apply to Allaah because it is Allaah who has commanded this test of faith and it is Allaah who can choose anyone to be the sacrifice.

Abraham Ibrahim did not have a choice about who to sacrifice but he could only obey or disobey what Allaah commanded him to do in this test.

Allaah stopped the test when Abraham Ibrahim showed that after he had given his first son Ishmael Ismail and Hagar Hajar to Allaah in the desert he was willing to sacrifice Isaac Ishaq who was his only son who was still living with Abraham Ibrahim in Canaan today in Israel and Palestine during the vision dream.

By stopping the sacrifice Allaah saved Isaac Ishaq and fulfilled the promise that Isaac Ishaq would have children as proof that Allaah always fulfils His promises and to teach humans that Allaah forbids human sacrifice in Quran 17:31, Quran 16:57 - 16:59, Quran 81:8 - 81:9, Leviticus 18:21, Leviticus 20:3, Deuteronomy 12:31, Deuteronomy 18:10, Deuteronomy 24:16, Hosea 6:6, Jeremiah 7:22 - 7:23, Psalm 40:7 in Tanakh Jewish Scripture or Psalm 40:6 in Christian Bibles and Micah 6:7 - 6:8.

The proof that Allaah is real is the Quran and the Torah Taurat confirming and explaining each other because "Whoever has no faith in His (Allaah’s) Books then he has strayed far away (from Allaah, Quran 4:136)."

Most early Muslims believed the son to be sacrificed is Isaac Ishaq.

Most later Muslims believed the son to be sacrificed is Ishmael Ismail.

This means most early Muslims believed no one changed the Torah Taurat which confirms Quran 2:40 (telling the Jewish people to observe their covenant with Allaah which is the Torah Taurat forever) and Quran 2:41 (telling the Jewish people that the Quran confirms what is with the Jewish people in the Torah Taurat) and most later Muslims believed the Torah Taurat was changed which contradicts Quran 2:40 (telling the Jewish people to observe their covenant with Allaah which is the Torah Taurat forever) and Quran 2:41 (telling the Jewish people that the Quran confirms what is with the Jewish people in the Torah Taurat).

What is the Gospel? What is the Injil?

Jesus did not write anything because everything Jesus taught by his mouth was already written in the Tanakh Jewish scripture meaning Jesus did not add or subtract from what is in Tanakh Jewish scripture.

The four Gospels are four reports about Jesus meaning Jesus never wrote anything and what he said was passed by mouth until it was written many years later.

Quran 5:68 says observe the Torah Taurat and the Gospel Injil and Quran 5:47 tells Christians to judge by the Gospel Injil (not by the other books in the New Testament because what Paul teaches contradicts what Jesus is teaching in the Gospel) meaning whatever in the Gospel Injil is confirmed in the Torah Taurat came from Jesus and whatever contradicts the Torah Taurat came from the unknown writers who are traditionally called Mark, Matthew, Luke and John in a test from Allaah described in 1 Kings 13:14 - 13:24 teaching that the word of Allaah will not change and do not believe anyone (for example Mark, Matthew, Luke and John) who claims the word of Allaah has changed.

Jesus in the Gospel says the Tanakh will exist forever and will never change (and this is the reason that Jesus did not add or subtract from what is in the Tanakh Jewish scripture) meaning anything in the Gospel which contradict the Tanakh did not come from God or from Jesus.

For example when Paul in his letter says the Torah is old and will soon disappear this is opposite to what Jesus is teaching in the Gospel where the Torah is forever and will not change and must be followed forever by the Jewish people in Gospel of Matthew 5:17 - 5:20 and Gospel of Matthew 23:1 - 23:3.

Every prophet after Moses including Prophet Jesus and Prophet Muhammad reminded the Jewish people to observe the Torah forever as the Torah has commanded them and as the Gospel and Quran reminds them..

Sometimes the Gospel contradicts the Tanakh however some publishers of the Gospels have added foot notes explaining problem verses in the past therefore Christians in the present or in future can add foot notes to show verses that cannot be true such as the claim that Jesus descended from David because it contradicts the Tanakh (where a person can only inherit a tribe like David biologically through the father and not by adoption and not through the mother and not by choice) which Jesus said will never change and must be followed forever in Gospel of Matthew 5:17 - 5:20 and Gospel of Matthew 23:1 - 23:3.

In the Quran Prophet Jesus did not claim he inherited the House of David because it is impossible for anyone without a biological father to inherit a tribe in Judaism.

There are no names on the original earliest four Gospel Injil manuscripts meaning the names Mark, Matthew, Luke and John were all added later meaning no one knows who wrote them.

Quran 5:68 says observe the Torah Taurat and the Gospel Injil and Quran 5:47 tells Christians to judge by the Gospel Injil meaning whatever in the Gospel Injil is confirmed in the Torah Taurat came from Jesus and whatever contradicts the Torah Taurat came from the unknown writers who are traditionally called Mark, Matthew, Luke and John in a test from Allaah described in 1 Kings 13:14 - 13:24 teaching that the word of Allaah will not change and do not believe anyone (for example Mark, Matthew, Luke and John) who claims the word of Allaah has changed.

1. In Quran 4:157 Jesus was not killed on the cross confirms the words of Jesus 3 days after the crucifixion in Gospel of John 20:17 “I have not yet ascended to the Father (Allaah, meaning I have not yet died)” ...

2. In Quran 4:158 Jesus was saved on the cross with sleep when his soul ascended to heaven in Quran 39:42 and the way Allaah would save Jesus on the cross is foreshadowed before the time of the crucifixion in the Gospel Injil as follows.

Gospel of Mark 5:39 "... The child is not dead but sleeping",

Gospel of Matthew 9:24 "... For the maiden meaning the girl has not died but sleeps ..."

Gospel of Luke 8:52 "... She is not dead but sleeping."

Gospel of Luke 8:54 – 8:55 “…"Damsel meaning girl, wake up!" And her spirit returned, and she stood up at once, and he ordered that she be given something to eat. (This was proof that she was alive and not dead and that she was a physical body who could eat food and not a resurrected spiritual body that does not need food meaning she was a physical body who woke up after sleep and not a spiritual body which was resurrected after death as described by Paul in 1 Corinthians 15:35 and 1 Corinthians 15:44).

3. In Quran 5:75 and Quran 3:144 is the natural death of Jesus 2000 years ago which is mentioned three days after the crucifixion in Gospel of John 20:17 Jesus says to her (Mary Magdalene), "Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father (Allaah, meaning I have not yet died); but go to my brothers (my disciples), and tell them: 'I am ascending to my Father (Allaah, meaning Jesus will die like every human dies as proof to his people that he is human meaning do not let a miracle make you believe I am not a human like you) …”

4. In Quran 19:36 Jesus said “Allaah is my Lord and your Lord” meaning Jesus is teaching his people that he is not Allaah and this is said 3 days after the crucifixion in Gospel of John 20:17 Jesus says to her (Mary Magdalene), "Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father (Allaah, meaning I have not yet died); but go to my brothers (my disciples), and tell them: 'I am ascending to my Father (to my creator Allaah, meaning Jesus will die like every human dies as proof to his people that he is human meaning do not let a miracle make you believe I am more than a human like you) and your Father (to your creator Allaah); to my Allaah (to my Lord) and your Allaah (to your Lord).”

5. Allaah chose the Israelites and gave them the Torah Taurat and told them to observe the Sabbath Day in all their generations forever meaning Allaah decreed Judaism and the Torah Taurat forever so that the following might be fulfilled.

a. The Torah Taurat shows which verses in the Gospel Injil confirm the Torah Taurat meaning they came from Jesus and which verses in the Gospel Injil contradict the Torah Taurat meaning they came from Mark, Matthew, Luke or John in a test described in 1 Kings 13:14 - 13:24 teaching that the word of Allaah will not change and do not believe anyone who claims the word of Allaah has changed.

b. In the same way Allaah is testing Muslims in every generation in the story of the sacrifice in a test described in 1 Kings 13:14 - 13:24 teaching that the word of Allaah will not change and do not believe anyone who claims the word of Allaah has changed.

Non-canonical books like the Book of Enoch quoted in the Christian Bible are rejected in Judaism because in Tanakh angels always obey Allaah meaning there are no fallen angels in Tanakh Jewish scripture.

Jesus did not write anything because everything Jesus taught by his mouth was already written in the Tanakh Jewish scripture meaning Jesus did not add or subtract from what is in Tanakh Jewish scripture as Allaah commanded for the Jewish people in Torah Deuteronomy 4:2.

Torah Deuteronomy 4:2 You (the children of Israel) shall not add to the word which I (Allaah) command you, neither shall you diminish (take away) from it, so that you may keep the commandments of the LORD your Allaah which I (Allaah) command you.

The four Gospels are four reports about Jesus meaning Jesus never wrote anything and what he said was passed by mouth until it was written many years later by four unknown people called Mark, Matthew, Luke and John.

The Quran tells the Christian to observe the Gospel and judge by the Gospel (not by the other books in the Christian New Testament Bible because what Paul teaches contradicts what Jesus is teaching in the Gospel) meaning anything from non-canonical books did not come from Jesus but came from Mark, Matthew, Luke or John in a test described in 1 Kings 13:14 - 13:24 teaching that the word of Allaah will not change and do not believe anyone who claims the word of Allaah has changed.

The Gospel of Matthew Chapter 8 to 11.

A man with leprosy.

Gospel of Matthew 8:1 And when he came down from the mountainside, large crowds followed him.

Gospel of Matthew 8:2 And behold, a leper approached and worshipped him, saying, "Lord, if you are willing, you are able to cleanse me."

Comment:

Bowing down to worship someone is not a sign that they are Allaah but is a sign of great respect to a messenger of Allaah.

Joshua 5:13 And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand; and Joshua went to him, and said to him: Are you for us, or for our enemies?'

Joshua 5:14 And he said: 'No (I am not against you), but I am captain of the army of the (angles of the) LORD (Allaah); I have now come (to help you).' And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and bowed down, and said to him: 'What says my lord to his servant?'

Joshua 5:15 And the captain of the LORD'S army (of angels) said to Joshua: Take off your shoe from off your foot; for the place where you stand is holy.' And Joshua did so.

Gospel of Matthew 8:3 And stretching out his hand, he touched him, saying, "I am willing.  Be cleansed."  And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

Comment:

How could Jesus cure leprosy?

Allaah allowed Jesus to make miracles as proof to the people that Jesus was a truthful messenger from Allaah.

In the same way Allaah allowed Moses to make miracles such as the parting of the Red Sea and the food that fell down from the sky and the water that came out of a rock..

Gospel of Matthew 8:4 And Jesus says to him, "See that you tell no one.  But go instead and show yourself to the priest and offer the gift Moses commanded, as a testimony to them."

The faith of the Centurion.

Gospel of Matthew 8:5 And when he had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to him entreating him,

Comments:

1. Where is Capernaum?

Capernaum was a fishing village on the Sea of Galilee in Galilee today in northern Israel.

2. What is a centurion?

A centurion was a Roman army commander.

Gospel of Matthew 8:6 and saying, "My servant is laid up in the house a paralytic, being tormented terribly."

Comments:

1. What is a paralytic?

A paralytic is a person who is affected by paralysis.

2. What is paralysis?

Paralysis is the inability to move part or most of the body.

Gospel of Matthew 8:7 He says to him, "I will come and heal him."

Gospel of Matthew 8:8 But the centurion answered and said, "Lord, I am not worthy that you enter under my roof.  But just say a word, and my servant will be healed.

Gospel of Matthew 8:9 For I too am a man under authority, having soldiers under myself.  And I say to this one, 'Go,' and he goes, and to another, 'Come,' and he comes, and to my slave, 'Do this,' and he does."

Gospel of Matthew 8:10 And Jesus was astonished hearing this, and he said to those following him, "Truly I tell you, I have not found faith like this from anyone in Israel.

Comment:

Why was Jesus astonished by the words of the centurion?

Jesus was surprised and amazed at the wise words of the centurion soldier.

Jesus is human so Jesus only knows what is revealed to him by the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit did not tell Jesus about the wise words that would be told to Jesus by the centurion soldier.

What Allaah reveals to the Holy Spirit is passed on to Jesus.

Allaah is not inside the creation because Allaah is not a creation.

The Holy Spirit is a creation that does the will of Allaah inside the creation

Gospel of Matthew 8:11 And I tell you, many will come from east and west, and will recline with Abraham and Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.

Comments:

1. What is the kingdom of heaven?

The kingdom of Allaah is the same as the kingdom of heaven.

See The Gospel of Mark 1:14-1:15 (kingdom of Allaah) and The Gospel of Matthew 4:17 (kingdom of Heaven).

See The Gospel of Mark 4:30-4:31 (kingdom of Allaah) and The Gospel of Matthew 13:31 (kingdom of Heaven).

2. What will happen in the Hereafter?

Many people from around the world will be in Paradise with the prophets from the past.

Gospel of Matthew 8:12 But natural heirs of the kingdom will be cast into the outer darkness; out there will be weeping, and gnashing of teeth."

Comment:

What will happen in the Hereafter?

Those of the children of Israel who rejected the message from Allaah that was delivered to them by Jesus will be punished in the Hereafter because rejecting a prophet of Allaah is the same as rejecting Allaah.

Gospel of Matthew 8:13 Then Jesus said to the centurion, "Go. As you believed let it be for you." And in that hour the servant was healed.

Jesus heals many.

Gospel of Matthew 8:14 And coming into Peter's house, Jesus saw Peter's mother-in-law bedridden and fever-stricken.

Gospel of Matthew 8:15 And he touched her hand, and the fever left her; and she got up and began to wait on him.

Comment:

How could Jesus cure fever?

Allaah allowed Jesus to make miracles as proof to the people that Jesus was a truthful messenger from Allaah.

In the same way Allaah allowed Moses to make miracles such as the parting of the Red Sea and the food that fell down from the sky and the water that came out of a rock..

Gospel of Matthew 8:16 And when evening came, they brought to him many who were demon-possessed, and he drove out the spirits with a word. And all those who had an illness he healed,

Comment:

How could Jesus remove demons?

Allaah allowed Jesus to make miracles as proof to the people that Jesus was a truthful messenger from Allaah.

In the same way Allaah allowed Moses to make miracles such as the parting of the Red Sea and the food that fell down from the sky and the water that came out of a rock..

Gospel of Matthew 8:17 so that the thing spoken through the prophet Isaiah might be fulfilled, which says: "Our infirmities he picked up, and our diseases he carried."

The cost of following Jesus.

Gospel of Matthew 8:18 But when Jesus saw a crowd around him, he gave the order to leave to the other side of the lake.

Gospel of Matthew 8:19 And one Torah scholar approached him and said, "Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go."

Gospel of Matthew 8:20 And Jesus says to him, "The foxes have holes, and the birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere he can lay his head."

Gospel of Matthew 8:21 And another man, one of the disciples, said to him, "Lord, allow me first to leave and bury my father."

Gospel of Matthew 8:22 But Jesus says to him, "You follow me, and leave the dead to bury their own dead."

Comment:

What does “You follow me, and leave the dead to bury their own dead” mean?

Allaah through the Holy Spirit reveals to Jesus to take as a disciple the son of a dead man.

Those who follow Jesus follow the path to life in the Hereafter.

Just as Allaah called Jesus to give all his life to serve Allaah, Allaah now had revealed to Jesus to call a new disciple to also give all his life to serve Allaah by leaving the dead (those who were not following Jesus) to bury their own dead.

The new disciple was called to leave death and his dead father and follow life and the path that would be taught by Jesus.

Allaah has revealed to Jesus to call this new disciple to serve Allaah.

The disciple is told to leave the business of the world such as burying the dead to those who do the business of the world because that disciple is now called to do the business of Allaah by serving Allaah and Allaah’s prophet Jesus.

Jesus Calms the Storm.

Gospel of Matthew 8:23 And his disciples followed him as he embarked in the boat.

Gospel of Matthew 8:24 And behold a great storm arose in the sea, such that the boat was getting covered over by the waves.  But he himself was sleeping.

Gospel of Matthew 8:25 And coming up to him, they roused him, saying, "Lord, save us!  We are perishing!"

Gospel of Matthew 8:26 And he says to them, "Why are you afraid, O you of little faith?" Then, once he was up, he rebuked the wind and the sea, and there came a complete calm.

Comment:

What does “O you of little faith” mean?

O you of little faith means you who lack confidence in Allaah.

When you put your faith in Allaah as Jesus did then all things become possible and help is near.

Gospel of Matthew 8:27 And the men marveled, saying, "What kind of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him?"

Comment:

What does “What kind of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him” mean?

When Moses separated the Red Sea it was by the command and will and permission of Allaah.

When Jesus calmed the wind and the sea it was by the command and will and permission of Allaah.

Both Moses and Jesus were messengers from Allaah.

The legion of demons near Gadara.

Gospel of Matthew 8:28 And when he came to the other side to the region of the Gadarenes, two men coming out of the tombs met him, demon-possessed, extremely dangerous, such that no one was able to pass that way.

Comments:

1. Where is Gadara?

Gadara today east of the Jordan River in Jordan.

2. Where is Gadarenes?

Gadarenes is on the eastern side of the Sea of Galilee in Galilee today in northern Israel and Jordan.

Gospel of Matthew 8:29 And behold they cried out saying, "What business do you have with us, Jesus, O you son of Allaah?  Have you come here to torture us before the time?"

Comment:

What does son of Allaah mean?

Allaah has no real wife or real children.

Son of Allaah means servant of Allaah.

Son of Allaah means slave of Allaah.

The demons know that what they do is against Allaah and so the demons fear Jesus who is the servant of Allaah.

Allaah gave demons the knowledge that Jesus who is the servant of Allaah has power over them by Allaah’s will and Allaah’s permission.

Gospel of Matthew 8:30 Now some distance from them there was a herd of many pigs feeding.

Gospel of Matthew 8:31 And the demons begged him saying, "If you drive us out, send us into the herd of pigs."

Gospel of Matthew 8:32 And he said to them, "Go!"  So coming out they went into the pigs; and behold, the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea, and died in the waters.

Gospel of Matthew 8:33 And the herders fled.  And when they had gone into the town they reported all things, including the things about the demon-possessed men.

Gospel of Matthew 8:34 And behold all the town came out to have a meeting with Jesus.  And when they saw him they begged him that he would move out of their borders.

The Gospel of Matthew Chapter 9.

Jesus heals a paralytic.

Gospel of Matthew 9:1 And embarking in a boat, he crossed over and came into his own town.

Gospel of Matthew 9:2 And behold they brought to him a paralytic placed on a mat.  And when Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven."

Comment:

What does “your sins are forgiven” mean?

Allaah through the Holy Spirit revealed to Jesus that because of the faith of the paralytic man, his sins had been forgiven by Allaah.

Gospel of Matthew 9:3 And behold, some of the Torah scholars said to themselves, "This fellow is blaspheming!"

Comment:

Why did the Torah scholars say this fellow is blaspheming?

The Torah scholars incorrectly thought that Jesus was forgiving sins.

If the Torah scholars had asked Jesus then Jesus would have revealed that Jesus is a messenger from Allaah and it was Allaah who had revealed to Jesus that the sins of that man had been forgiven because of that mans faith in Allaah.

Gospel of Matthew 9:4 And knowing their thoughts, Jesus said, "Why do you think evil things in your hearts?

Comment:

See the Gospel of Matthew 9:3 comments.

Gospel of Matthew 9:5 For which is easier: to say 'Your sins are forgiven,' or to say: 'Get up and walk'?

Comments:

1. What does “your sins are forgiven” mean?

Every prophet and messenger speaks in the name of Allaah therefore everything said by Jesus was commanded by Allaah through the angel of Allaah (the Holy Ghost, the Holy Spirit).

Allaah through the angel of Allaah told Jesus to say “your sins are forgiven.”

Only Allaah can forgive sins.

Jesus who is the messenger of Allaah revealed that Allaah had forgiven the sins of the paralytic person.

Those who did not believe that Jesus was a messenger from Allaah incorrectly thought that Jesus himself was forgiving all the sins of that person.

2. The Quran confirms the Gospel regarding the forgiveness of sin.

Allaah can reveal who has been forgiven of sin to the human messenger of Allaah through the Holy Spirit angel messenger of Allaah.

Quran 24:10 Koran 24:10 If it had not been for the grace of Allaah and His (Allaah’s) mercy to you (the people of Prophet Muhammad then a great punishment would have touched you for what you said falsely against Aisha the wife of Prophet Muhammad but you were saved from the punishment) because Allaah (is the most merciful one who) is often returning (to give forgiveness) and (Allaah is) wise.

Quran 24:26 Koran 24:26 Bad words are for bad people and bad people are (inclined) to bad words. And good words are for good people, and good people are (inclined) to good words. Those (innocent of the accusation of adultery, illegal sexual intercourse) are declared innocent of what they (those who falsely accused of adultery, Aisha the wife of Prophet Muhammad) said. For them (who were falsely accused and who suffered in patience) is forgiveness (by taking away some sins that they gathered during their life because they were patient in their innocent suffering) and (rewarding them with) generous provision (in the Hereafter in Paradise).

Gospel of Matthew 9:6 But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins..." Then he says to the paralytic, "Get up, take your mat and go to your house."

Comments:

1. What does Son of Man mean?

Son of man means human.

The Gospel is the story of one human called Jesus.

The Gospel is the story of one son of man called Jesus.

2. Who gave Jesus the authority to speak in the name of Allaah?

Every prophet of Allaah is given authority by Allaah to speak in the name of Allaah.

Every messenger of Allaah is given authority by Allaah to speak in the name of Allaah.

Torah, Deuteronomy 18:18 (Therefore) I (Allaah) shall raise up for them (the children of Israel) a prophet (Prophet Joshua Yusha followed by prophet after prophet, messenger after messenger) like you (Prophet Moses Musa who delivered the Torah Taurat 3200 years ago when you were at Mount Sinai Horeb today in Egypt) from among their brothers brethren (The children of Israel are brothers and brethren to each other. The children of Esau are brothers and brethren to the children of Israel through Jacob Yaqub Israel who is the brother of Esau. The children of Ishmael Ismail are brothers and brethren to the children of Israel through Isaac Ishaq who is the brother of Ishmael Ismail and the father of Jacob Yaqub Israel. Esau and Ishmael Ismail are not one of the children of Israel. The children of Ishmael Ismail are the brethren and brother of the children of Isaac Ishaq which include the children of Israel in the same way as Allaah says the children of Esau who are not the children of Israel are the brethren of the children of Israel in Torah Deuteronomy 2:4 – 2:8 and Prophet Moses Musa says the children of Esau who are not the children of Israel are the brother of the children of Israel in Torah Numbers 20:14. Those who descended from Prophet Abraham Ibrahim are brothers and brethren to each other and brothers and brethren in the religion of Allaah because this is the religion of Prophet Abraham Ibrahim) and I (Allaah through the Holy Spirit Angel Gabriel Jibril) shall put my (Allaah’s) words in the mouth of the prophet (meaning prophet after prophet, messenger after messenger), who shall speak to them (the people) everything that I (Allaah) command him” (to speak to you. Note that all the prophets and messengers of Allaah are mentioned in Torah Deuteronomy 18:18. In Torah Genesis 25:9 “Isaac Ishaq and Ishmael Ismail his sons buried Abraham Ibrahim” meaning the children of Isaac Ishaq and the children of Ishmael Ismail are brothers and brethren to each other meaning the Hebrews and the Arabs are brothers and brethren to each other meaning the Jews and the Muslims are brothers and brethren to each other meaning everyone who follows the religion of Allaah are brothers and brethren to each other as confirmed in Torah Deuteronomy 18:15, 18:18 - 18:22 and Quran 5:68 and Quran 7:157);

Gospel of Matthew 9:7 And he stood up and went away to his house.

Gospel of Matthew 9:8 After seeing this, the crowd feared and praised the Allaah who had given such authority to humans.

Comment:

1. Jesus is not Allaah.

Jesus is a human.

Jesus is a prophet of Allaah.

Jesus is a messenger from Allaah.

The Gospel of Matthew 9:8 confirms that it is Allaah who gave the authority to do miracles to humans.

The Gospel of Matthew 9:8 confirms that it is Allaah who gave the authority to do miracles to Jesus.

The Gospel of Matthew 9:8 describes how people correctly did not fear and praise Jesus.

The Gospel of Matthew 9:8 describes how people correctly feared and praised Allaah.

The Gospel of Matthew 9:8 describes how people correctly feared and praised Allaah who gave authority to a human called Jesus to do miracles.

1-1. Gospel of Matthew 15:31 causing the crowd to marvel, seeing the mute speaking, the impaired of hand whole, and the lame walking and the blind seeing, and they glorified the Allaah of Israel.

2. The fifth sign of the next prophet that Jesus said would come after Jesus in the Gospel of John 14:16, 15:26, 16:7 – 16:15.

How does the Gospel confirm the revelation of the prophet after Jesus that Jesus is not Allaah but a human prophet and messenger of Allaah?

Why was Prophet Muhammad sent after Prophet Jesus?

Prophet Muhammad was sent after Prophet Jesus to correct the confusion between Allaah and Jesus.

Muhammad was sent after Jesus to correct the confusion between Allaah and Jesus.

Quran 19:93 Koran 19:93 There is no one in the heavens and the earth who does not come to the Most Merciful (Allaah) except as a servant.

See Gospel of Matthew 9:8, 10:23, 10:40, 11:14, 11:25, 12:20, 14:19, 14:23, 15:31, 15:36, 19:12, 19:17, 20:23, 21:22, 21:43, 22:37, 22:40, 23:9, 23:22, 24:20, 24:36, 25:34, 26:27, 26:36, 26:39, 26:42, 26:44, 26:61, 27:40, 27:46, 27:51 and 28:7 comments.

The calling of Matthew.

Gospel of Matthew 9:9 And moving on from there, Jesus saw a man named Matthew sitting at the taxes post, and he says to him, "Follow me."  And he got up and followed him.

Comment:

Who is Matthew?

Matthew is a tax collector working for the Roman Empire.

Jesus is Jewish.

Matthew is Jewish.

Matthew is called by Jesus to be a disciple of Jesus and to learn how to serve Allaah and humanity.

Gospel of Matthew 9:10 And it came about that Jesus and his disciples were reclining at table in the house of Matthew, and behold a large crowd of revenue agents and sinners came and were eating with them.

Gospel of Matthew 9:11 And seeing this the Pharisees said to his disciples, "Why does your rabbi eat with revenue agents and sinners?"

Gospel of Matthew 9:12 But he heard, and said, "The healthy have no need of a doctor, but only those who have something bad.

Gospel of Matthew 9:13 But go learn what this means: 'I desire mercy and not sacrifice.'  For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners."

Comments:

What does go and learn what this means “I desire mercy and not sacrifice?”

Jewish Hebrew Bible Hosea 6:6 For I (Allaah) desire mercy, and not sacrifice, and the knowledge of Allaah rather than burnt-offerings.

(Note 1. Allaah desires that humans give mercy to each other instead of giving Allaah animal sacrifices.

Allaah desires that humans show compassion towards each other rather than make animal sacrifices to Allaah.

The human who obeys Allaah by showing compassion to other humans is doing what Allaah desires).

(Note 2. Allaah desires that humans gain knowledge about Allaah rather than make burnt animal sacrifices to Allaah.

The human who obeys Allaah by gaining knowledge about Allaah is doing what Allaah desires).

Jesus questioned about fasting.

Gospel of Matthew 9:14 Then the disciples of John came to him, saying, "Why is it we and the Pharisees are fasting, but your disciples are not fasting?"

Comment:

Who is John in “the disciples of John?”

John is John the Baptizer known as John the Baptiser, John the Baptist and Prophet John.

Gospel of Matthew 9:15 And Jesus said to them, "Are the members of the bridegroom's party able to mourn while the bridegroom is with them?  But days will come when the bridegroom is taken away from them; and then they will fast.

Gospel of Matthew 9:16 "Now no one puts a patch of unshrunk cloth onto an old garment. For the patch of it tears away from the garment, and a worse tear results.

Gospel of Matthew 9:17 Neither do they put new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the wineskins will burst, the wine will spill out, and the wineskins will be ruined. Rather, they put new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved."

A dead damsel and a sick woman.

Gospel of Matthew 9:18 While he was speaking these things to them, behold a certain ruler came, prostrating himself to him, saying, "My daughter has just now died.  But come and put your hand on her and she will revive."

Gospel of Matthew 9:19 And getting up Jesus followed him, including his disciples.

Gospel of Matthew 9:20 And behold a woman suffering a twelve year flow of blood came up behind and touched the tassel of his cloak.

Gospel of Matthew 9:21 For she was saying to herself, "If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed."

Comment:

Allaah is granting miracles to those who have faith as a sign that Jesus is a truthful messenger of Allaah.

Gospel of Matthew 9:22 And Jesus turning and seeing her said, "Take heart, daughter, your faith has healed you."  And the woman was healed from that time on.

Comment:

What does “Your faith has healed you” mean?

Your faith has healed you by Allaah’s will and Allaah’s permission as revealed by Jesus who is the prophet and messenger of Allaah.

Gospel of Matthew 9:23 And Jesus came into the ruler's house, and when he saw the flute players and the crowd in commotion,

Gospel of Matthew 9:24 he said, "Go your ways. For the maiden has not died but sleeps." And they laughed at him with scorn.

Comment:

1. The second sign of the next prophet that Jesus said would come after Jesus in the Gospel of John 14:16, 15:26, 16:7 – 16:15.

How could Jesus be alive on the cross as revealed by the prophet after Jesus?

The girl has not died but is sleeping (Gospel of Matthew 9:24).

The prophet after Jesus would reveal that Jesus was not dead on the cross.

The body of Jesus was sleeping but the soul of Jesus was with Allaah.

How is it possible for a body to be sleeping and the soul to be with Allaah?

Only the soul of a human is raised to heaven.

The human body is not needed in heaven.

The human body is only needed on the Earth.

See Gospel of Matthew 9:24, 12:40, 22:46, 23:34, 27:50, 28:6 and 28:7  comments.

Three days after the crucifixion Jesus told Mary Magdalene to tell all the disciples that Jesus did not die on the cross in Gospel of John 20:17 “I have not yet ascended to the Father” meaning Allaah saved the life of Jesus on the cross with a miracle which made people think Jesus was dead on the cross in the same way Allaah made people believe a sleeping person was dead in Gospel of Mark 5:39, Gospel of Matthew 9:24 and Gospel of Luke 8:52.

The soul of every human ascends to Allaah during sleep and when they die (Quran 39:42).

When Jesus says I (Jesus) have not yet ascended to the Father (Allaah) Jesus is not talking about sleep because every human ascends to Allaah every night during sleep therefore the meaning is Jesus has not yet died meaning Allaah saved the life of Jesus on the cross with sleep (Gospel of Mark 5:39, Gospel of Matthew 9:24, Gospel of Luke 8:52, Quran 4:158 and Quran 39:42) meaning Jesus did not die on the cross with death but was saved on the cross with sleep which looked like Jesus was dead and in this way Allaah saved the life of Jesus meaning no one killed Jesus (Gospel of Luke 8:54 – 8:55 and Quran 39:42) meaning no one crucified Jesus to death (Quran 4:157) meaning Jesus was not sacrificed but was saved from death with sleep in Quran 4:158 and Quran 39:42 for the same reason Allaah saved the son of Abraham from death in a test of the faith in Allaah of Abraham and Jesus.

When Jesus says "I (Jesus) am ascending to my Father (Allaah) and your Father (Allaah)" it means Jesus will die like every human dies meaning Jesus died a natural death at the end of his life 2000 years ago (Quran 3:144 and Quran 5:75) as proof Jesus is human and as proof Jesus is not Allaah.

Gospel of John 20:17 Jesus says to her (Mary Magdalene), "Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father (Allaah); but go to my brothers (my disciples), and tell them: 'I am ascending to my Father and your Father; to my Allaah and your Allaah.'"

Note 1. After the crucifixion Jesus says do not hold on to me to see if I am really alive, I have not yet ascended to my Father meaning I am not yet dead meaning I am really alive meaning I am not a ghost.

Quran 6:60 Koran 6:60 He (Allaah) is the one who takes your souls at night (when you sleep) and He (Allaah) knows everything you did in the day. Then He (Allaah) wakes you again so that your life span may be fulfilled. Afterward (in the Hereafter) to Him (Allaah) you shall return. Then He (Allaah) shall inform you of what you used to do.

The Gospel of Matthew 9:24 confirms the explanation of a later revelation that Jesus was not dead on the cross which was revealed by the next prophet that Jesus said would come after him and whose revelations Jesus said would stay on the earth forever in the Gospel of John 14:16, 15:26, 16:7 – 16:15.

Gospel of Matthew 9:25 And when the crowd was put out, he went in and took hold of her hand, and the maiden was raised from the dead.

Comments:

1. The third sign of the next prophet that Jesus said would come after Jesus in the Gospel of John 14:16, 15:26, 16:7 – 16:15.

When the prophet that Jesus said would come after him revealed that Jesus did not die on the cross people laughed at him in the same way as people laughed at Jesus when Jesus said that a dead girl was sleeping in the Gospel of Matthew 9:24 – 9:25.

Gospel of Matthew 9:24 he (Jesus) said, "Go your ways. For the maiden has not died but sleeps." And they laughed at him with scorn.

Gospel of Matthew 9:25 And when the crowd was put out, he went in and took hold of her hand, and the maiden was raised from the dead

2. The Quran confirms the Gospel regarding sleeping and death.

The Quran explains what happened to Jesus on the cross.

Quran 4:157 Koran 4:157 “… It is certain that they (the Jews and the Romans) did not kill him (because Allaah protected Prophet Jesus from the death of crucifixion in 607 BH 33 CE 33 AD on Friday 3 April 33 in Jerusalem, Al-Quds, Yerussalem, Yerushalayim in Judea today in southern Israel and Palestine).

3. The Quran explains what happened to Jesus three days later.

What happened to Jesus three days later?

The prophet after Jesus revealed that Jesus was not crucified to death and Jesus was not killed but Jesus fainted to sleep and his soul was raised to heaven.

After 3 days the soul of Jesus was returned to the sleeping body of Jesus and he awoke just as every human awakes when their soul is returned from heaven after sleep.

Three days later Jesus awoke and was seen alive.

4. The Quran explains what happened to Jesus at the end of his life.

What happened to Jesus at the end of his life?

When the life decreed by Allaah for Jesus came to an end as every human life must then through the angel of death, Allaah raised Jesus to heaven.

Only the soul of a human is raised to heaven.

The human body is not needed in heaven.

The human body is only needed on the Earth.

Quran 4:158 Koran 4:158 Allaah raised him (the soul of Jesus) up to Himself (Allaah, and the soul of Jesus is in heaven under the care of Allaah who is the creator of every soul and the carer of every soul). Allaah is all powerful (able to do all things) and He (Allaah) is all wise.

5. The Quran confirms the Gospel understanding of death and sleep.

Quran 2:154 Koran 2:154 And do not speak (when delivering news) of those who are killed in the cause of Allaah as being “dead”, No, they are alive (their soul is alive in heaven), but you cannot see them.

(Note 1. The home for the human body is on the Earth.

The home for the human soul is in Heaven).

Gospel of Matthew 9:26 And this news went out into all that region.

Jesus heals the blind and mute.

Gospel of Matthew 9:27 And as Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed him, crying out and saying, "Have mercy on us, O Son of David!"

Comments:

1. What does “O Son of David” mean?

Son of David is the Hebrew way of saying Christ or Messiah and is a title meaning the anointed one, the one who is blessed by Allaah.

2. In the Quran the expression “sister of Aaron” is used for the Virgin Mary in a similar way.

Quran 19:28 Koran 19:28Sister (Mary, you are a Jew from the long line of noble priestly Jewish descendants) of Aaron (and from Aaron the righteous generations sprang), your father (followed in their righteous foot steps and he) was not a wicked man nor was your mother (who was also righteous) an unchaste woman (so how could you an unmarried women have a child?).”

Gospel of Matthew 9:28 And when he had come into the house, the blind men came to him, and Jesus says to them, "Do you believe that I am able to do this?" They say to him, "Yes, Lord."

Gospel of Matthew 9:29 Then he touched their eyes, saying, "According to your faith let it be done for you."

Gospel of Matthew 9:30 And their eyes were opened.  And Jesus warned them sternly, saying, "See that no one knows about this."

Gospel of Matthew 9:31 But they went out and spread the news about him throughout that whole region.

Comment:

How could Jesus make a blind man see but could not make the blind man follow his orders?

Jesus is not Allaah.

It was Allaah who determined what Jesus could do and what Jesus could not do.

Gospel of Matthew 9:32 And as they were going out, behold a mute who was demon-possessed was brought to him.

Gospel of Matthew 9:33 And when the demon was expelled, the mute spoke.  The crowd was amazed, and said, "Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel!"

Gospel of Matthew 9:34 But the Pharisees said, "By the prince of the demons he expels the demons."

Comments:

1. What does “by the prince of the demons he expels the demons” mean?

The Pharisees said that by the powers of Satan Jesus is expelling the demons.

2. Who are the Pharisees?

In the time of Jesus a Jewish sect called the Pharisees believed in the written Torah, the oral law (Jewish stories, Jewish hadith) and the resurrection of the dead.

The Pharisees were in Judea today Southern Israel and Palestine in the period of the second Jewish Temple in Jerusalem from the second century BCE until the destruction of the second Jewish Temple in 569 BH (70 CE) after which much of today’s traditional Judaism was the result.

Jewish Rabbis of today developed from the religious Pharisee tradition.

The Pharisees today are called Orthodox Jews.

The teachings by some in Christianity about Jesus did not come from Judaism but from the Greek Roman world of idol worship as seen when humans pray to Jesus and Mary and dead human saints instead of praying direct to Allaah as taught by every prophet in the Jewish Scriptures.

Jesus prayed to Allaah in all the four Gospels in the same way as all the Jews in his time all prayed directly to Allaah.

The workers are few.

Gospel of Matthew 9:35 And Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness.

Comments:

1. What is the kingdom?

The kingdom of Allaah.

The kingdom of Heaven.

The kingdom of Allaah is the same as the kingdom of heaven.

See The Gospel of Mark 1:14-1:15 (kingdom of Allaah) and The Gospel of Matthew 4:17 (kingdom of Heaven).

Gospel of Matthew 10:5 These Twelve Jesus sent out, giving orders to them, saying: "Do not go down a Gentile road, and do not enter a town of Samaritans.

Comments:

1. Who are the Gentiles?

Jesus is one of the children of Israel.

The Gentiles are those who are not from the children of Israel.

Jesus is a Jew.

The Gentiles are those who are not Jewish.

The Jews worship Allaah only.

2000 years ago the Gentiles worshiped idols.

In the time of Jesus, Judea was ruled by the laws of the Roman Empire so the Gentiles were the Roman authorities.

2000 years ago there were no churches and no mosques because Christianity and Islam did not exist.

2. Where is Samaria?

Samaria is north of Judea today in Palestine.

The people of Samaria only accepted the five books of Moses and rejected the books of the other prophets and so the people of Samaria were rejected by the Jews of Judea.

Jesus is a Jew.

Gospel of Matthew 10:6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

Comments:

1. Where is the House of Israel?

The House of Israel is wherever the Jews lived.

The Jews are the children of Israel.

In the time of Jesus the House of Allaah was in Jerusalem. Al-Quds.

The House of Allaah in Jerusalem. Al-Quds was called the Second Jewish Temple or the Second Jewish House of Allaah or the Second House of Allaah.

2. Why is the House of Israel called lost sheep?

The children of Israel were not correctly lead by the religious leaders at the Second Temple of Allaah in Jerusalem. Al-Quds in Judea and so Allaah made revelations to Jesus to deliver guidance to the children of Israel in Judea today in southern Israel and Palestine and the Galilee today in northern Israel.

2. What does “the kingdom of heaven is near” mean?

Every human must die therefore for every human the kingdom of heaven is near.

When a human dies their soul is raised to heaven and to Allaah.

The Earth is the home for the human body.

Heaven is the home for the human soul.

The human body is not needed in heaven.

The human body is only needed on the Earth.

Gospel of Matthew 10:8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, drive out the demons.  Freely you have received; freely give.

Comment:

To whom did Allaah give the authority to “heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers and drive out the demons?”

This authority was first given to Jesus who is the prophet and messenger of Allaah.

Later Allaah also gave this same authority to the twelve disciples of Jesus.

Gospel of Matthew 10:15 Truly I tell you, on the day of judgment it will be more bearable for the land of Sodom and the land of Gomorrah, than for that town.

Comments:

1. Where is Sodom?

Sodom is north of the Dead Sea in Canaan today in Israel.

2. Where is Gomorrah?

Gomorrah is north of the Dead Sea in Canaan today in Israel.

Gospel of Matthew 10:17 And be on your guard against people. For they will hand you over to councils, and they will flog you in their synagogues.

Comments:

1. Who will send you to the courts and flog you?

Those who disbelieve the word of Allaah which Jesus is telling the disciples to deliver.

2. Who is the religion of Jesus, his disciples, the disbelievers and the believers in the Gospel of Matthew 10:17?

They are all Jewish.

They are all from the children of Israel. See the Gospel of Matthew 10:6.

3. Disbelief in a prophet of Allaah results in disputes between humans.

3-1. The thirty third sign of the next prophet that Jesus said would come after him in the Gospel in the Gospel of John 14:16, 15:26, 16:7 – 16:15.

The next prophet after Jesus confirms that disbelief in a prophet of Allaah results in disputes between humans.

Quran 2:253 Koran 2:253 The messengers We (Allaah through the Holy Spirit revealed to Prophet Muhammad) endowed with gifts, some (with) more (gifts) than others. To some of them Allaah spoke and to others He (Allaah) raised their rank (of honour). To (messenger, prophet and messiah) Jesus the son of Mary We (Allaah through the Holy Spirit) gave signs (of his truthfulness) and strengthened him with the Holy Spirit (Angel Gabriel, the Holy Ghost). If Allaah had so willed He (Allaah) could have made succeeding generations not fight among each other if after the signs (of Allaah) the people believed, but they disputed, some believing (the Prophets of Allaah) and others rejecting (the Prophets of Allaah). If Allaah had willed then they would not have fought each other but Allaah fulfills His (Allaah’s) plan.

Gospel of Matthew 10:18 And also before governors and kings you will be brought, because of me, to be a testimony to them and to the nations.

Gospel of Matthew 10:19 But when they arrest you, do not worry how or what you might say. For it will be given to you at that hour what you should say;

Gospel of Matthew 10:20 because you are not the ones speaking, but the Spirit of your Father is the one speaking, through you.

Comments:

1. What does “the Spirit of your Father is the one speaking” mean?

The Spirit of your Allaah is the one who is speaking.

The Spirit of your Allaah is the Holy Spirit.

The Spirit of your Allaah is the Holy Ghost.

2. How does the Spirit of Allaah speak through humans?

2-1. Allaah commands the human to speak.

Jewish Hebrew Bible Torah Deuteronomy 18:20 But the Prophet that shall speak a word presumptuously in My name (in the name of Allaah), which I (Allaah) have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, that same prophet shall die.

2-2. Allaah reveals what is to be said and then everything that Allaah commanded is said.

Torah, Deuteronomy 18:18 (Therefore) I (Allaah) shall raise up for them (the children of Israel) a prophet (Prophet Joshua Yusha followed by prophet after prophet, messenger after messenger) like you (Prophet Moses Musa who delivered the Torah Taurat 3200 years ago when you were at Mount Sinai Horeb today in Egypt) from among their brothers brethren (The children of Israel are brothers and brethren to each other. The children of Esau are brothers and brethren to the children of Israel through Jacob Yaqub Israel who is the brother of Esau. The children of Ishmael Ismail are brothers and brethren to the children of Israel through Isaac Ishaq who is the brother of Ishmael Ismail and the father of Jacob Yaqub Israel. Esau and Ishmael Ismail are not one of the children of Israel. The children of Ishmael Ismail are the brethren and brother of the children of Isaac Ishaq which include the children of Israel in the same way as Allaah says the children of Esau who are not the children of Israel are the brethren of the children of Israel in Torah Deuteronomy 2:4 – 2:8 and Prophet Moses Musa says the children of Esau who are not the children of Israel are the brother of the children of Israel in Torah Numbers 20:14. Those who descended from Prophet Abraham Ibrahim are brothers and brethren to each other and brothers and brethren in the religion of Allaah because this is the religion of Prophet Abraham Ibrahim) and I (Allaah through the Holy Spirit Angel Gabriel Jibril) shall put my (Allaah’s) words in the mouth of the prophet (meaning prophet after prophet, messenger after messenger), who shall speak to them (the people) everything that I (Allaah) command him” (to speak to you. Note that all the prophets and messengers of Allaah are mentioned in Torah Deuteronomy 18:18. In Torah Genesis 25:9 “Isaac Ishaq and Ishmael Ismail his sons buried Abraham Ibrahim” meaning the children of Isaac Ishaq and the children of Ishmael Ismail are brothers and brethren to each other meaning the Hebrews and the Arabs are brothers and brethren to each other meaning the Jews and the Muslims are brothers and brethren to each other meaning everyone who follows the religion of Allaah are brothers and brethren to each other as confirmed in Torah Deuteronomy 18:15, 18:18 - 18:22 and Quran 5:68 and Quran 7:157);

3. The fourth sign of the next prophet that Jesus said would come after Jesus in the Gospel of John 14:16, 15:26, 16:7 – 16:15.

The prophet after Jesus confirmed that the Holy Spirit is the one who is commanded by Allaah to reveal the word of Allaah to the heart of humans.

See Gospel of Matthew 22:43 and 28:19 (10:20, 16:17 and 21:44) comments.

Gospel of Matthew 3:16 As soon as he (Jesus) was baptized (by John the Baptizer), Jesus came up out of the water, and behold, the heavens were opened, and he saw the Holy Spirit of Allaah coming down like a dove, coming onto him.

(Note 1. What does “John saw the Holy Spirit of Allaah coming down like a dove (a bird), coming onto Jesus” mean?

Prophet John saw the Holy Spirit with his eyes.

The Holy Spirit of Allaah is a creation.

The Holy Spirit of Allaah travels like a bird.

The Holy Spirit of Allaah is one of the Holy Angels of Allaah.

(Note 2. Who is the Holy Spirit of Allaah?

The Holy Spirit of Allaah is Angel Gabriel.

Quran 2:253 Koran 2:253 “… To (messenger, prophet and messiah) Jesus the son of Mary We (Allaah through the Holy Spirit) gave signs (of his truthfulness) and strengthened him (Jesus) with the Holy Spirit (Angel Gabriel, the Holy Ghost). …”

Quran 2:97 Koran 2:97 Say (Prophet Muhammad, to the people), who is against (Angel) Gabriel? because it is he (Angel Gabriel) who has revealed this (Scripture, the Quran) to your heart (Prophet Muhammad) by Allaah’s permission, confirming what was revealed before it (in the Gospel and in the Torah), and as a guidance and good news for those who believe.

Quran 5:46 Koran 5:46 And We (Allaah through Angel Gabriel revealed to Prophet Muhammad) sent Prophet Jesus, son of Mary, to follow in their footsteps (the footsteps of the earlier Prophets), confirming what was (revealed) before him (Prophet Jesus) in the Torah, and We (Allaah through Angel Gabriel revealed to Prophet Muhammad) gave to him (Prophet Jesus the revelation of) the Gospel as a guidance and a light, confirming what was (revealed) before it in the Torah as a guidance and a warning to prevent evil.

Quran 40:15 Koran 40:15 Raised high above any ranks (or any degrees, or any measurement, or any evaluation, or of anything that exists), (He Allaah is) the Lord of the Throne (The Master controller of everything, owner of everything that is created), By His command He (Allaah) sends the Spirit (of inspiration, of revelation, of His command, the Holy Spirit, the Holy Ghost, Angel Gabriel) to any of His (Allaah’s) servants as He (Allaah) pleases so that it (whomever Allaah sends the inspiration of Allaah’s revelations, whomever Allaah sends the inspiration of Allaah’s command) may warn (people) of the Day of Mutual Meeting (the Day of the meeting with Allaah on the Day of Resurrection and Judgement).

(Note 3. There is one angel who is called the Spirit (Holy Spirit, Holy Ghost, Holy Spirit of Allaah) among the Holy angels.

The Holy Spirit and the other Holy angels were created by Allaah.

The Holy Spirit is one of the Holy angels of Allaah.

Quran 70:4 Koran 70:4 (The seven sleepers in Quran 18:19 and the death and resurrection of Prophet Ezra Uzair in Quran 2:259 teach that the time between death and resurrection feels like nothing but sleeping for less than one day and this is confirmed in Quran 20:103, 20:104, 23:113, 30:55, 46:35 and 79:46 which teach that both the righteous and the wrongdoer shall swear on the Day of Resurrection that death feels like nothing but a one hour sleep or ten hour sleep meaning sleeping in death for billions of years feels like closing and then opening your eyes. Everyone is returned to Allaah and) the angels and the Spirit (the Holy Spirit angel Gabriel Jibril) ascend (go up) to Him (Allaah) in a day the measure (duration) of which is (like) fifty thousand years (meaning after every human experienced billions of years in death as if it was only a very short one hour sleep or ten hour sleep humans will experience the Day of Resurrection and Judgement to feel like a very long day fifty thousand years long which in fact will be very short compared to eternity in the hereafter https://sites.google.com/site/islamandthequran/hadith-punishment-in-the-grave ).

Quran 78:38 Koran 78:38 The Day (of Judgement) when the Spirit (the Holy Spirit angel Gabriel as revealed in Quran 2:97) and the (other) angels shall stand in rows and they shall not speak except for the one whom the Most Merciful (Allaah) allows (to speak) and they (the Spirit and the other angels) shall say what is correct.

Quran 97:4 Koran 97:4 On (one night in Ramadan called the Night of Power, Night of Decree, Night of Measures, Night of Excellence, Laylat al-Qadr, Shab-e-Qadr) the angels and the Spirit (the Holy Spirit angel Gabriel as revealed in Quran 2:97) come down (to the Earth) by Allaah's permission, on every errand (task, duty that is needed to be done for the following year).

(Note 4. See the Gospel of Matthew 16:17 comments).

4. How does Jesus know the will of Allaah?

Jesus is the Prophet of Allaah and all things Allaah wills for Jesus to know are put into the heart (mind, brain) of Jesus by the Holy Spirit Angel Gabriel in the same way Angel Gabriel put Jesus into the womb of the Virgin Mary.

Gospel of Matthew 10:21 "And brother will betray brother to death, and a father a child; and children will rise up against parents and put them to death.

Comments:

1. Killing between Jews.

In the time after Jesus the Jews who believed that Jesus was a false prophet killed the Jews who believed that Jesus was a true prophet. This killing between Jews does not exist today.

2. Killing between Christians.

Later when Christianity was established the Christians who believed that Jesus was Allaah killed the Christians who believed that Jesus was not Allaah but a prophet of Allaah. This killing between Christians does not exist today.

3. Killing between Muslims.

Later when Islam was established the Muslims of one sect killed the Muslims in another sect accusing them of splitting and abandoning the religion of Islam. This killing between Muslims exists today however with education such killing will end just as similar killings ended in Judaism and Christianity.

Gospel of Matthew 10:22 And you will be hated by all because of my name, but the one who holds out to the end, this one will be rescued unharmed.

Comment:

What does “rescued unharmed” mean?

Rescued from punishment in the Hereafter and rewarded in Paradise.

Gospel of Matthew 10:23 But when they persecute you in this town, flee to a new one; for truly I tell you, you will not finish all the towns of Israel before the Son of Man has come.

Comments:

1. What does “you will not finish all the towns of Israel before the Son of Man has come” mean?

You will not finish travelling through all the towns of Israel before Jesus has returned to you (the disciples).

2. When did Jesus return to his disciples?

Jesus returned to his disciples in 607 BH 33 CE 33 AD on Sunday 5 April 33.

The crucifixion was in 607 BH 33 CE 33 AD on Friday 3 April 33.

3. What does “Son of Man” mean?

Son of man means human.

In the Gospel of Matthew 10:23 Jesus reveals that when Jesus returns to his disciples it will be proof that Jesus is human meaning that Jesus is the son of man.

Jesus is not Allaah.

Allaah is not a resurrected human.

Only creations are resurrected.

Allaah never dies.

Allaah is the creator.

Allaah is the resurrector.

Allaah is a living Allaah who never dies so Allaah can never be resurrected.

Only creations can be resurrected.

Quran 19:93 Koran 19:93 There is no one in the heavens and the earth who does not come to the Most Merciful (Allaah) except as a servant.

(Note 1. See Gospel of Matthew 9:8, 10:23, 10:40, 11:14, 11:25, 12:20, 14:19, 14:23, 15:31, 15:36, 19:12, 19:17, 20:23, 21:22, 21:43, 22:37, 22:40, 23:9, 23:22, 24:20, 24:36, 25:34, 26:27, 26:36, 26:39, 26:42, 26:44, 26:61, 27:40, 27:46, 27:51 and 28:7 comments.

5. Why was Prophet Muhammad sent after Prophet Jesus?

Why was Muhammad sent after Jesus?

Prophet Muhammad was sent after Prophet Jesus to correct the confusion between Allaah and Prophet Jesus.

Muhammad was sent after Jesus to correct the confusion between Allaah and Jesus.

Quran 42:14 Koran 42:14 And they (the Jews and the Christians) did not divide (the One religion of Allaah) until after knowledge (from Allaah) had come to them (in the Torah and in the Gospel), because of envy between each other. And had it not been for a Word (a decree) that went before (their time that delayed Judgement) from your Lord (Allaah) for a specific time (the Day of Judgement), then the matter (of the disagreement between the Jews and the Christians about the nature of Allaah, if Allaah is one Allaah or if Allaah is three in one Allaah) would have been settled between them (the Jews and the Christians through Allaah’s punishment of those who reject Allaah when Allaah said “Allaah is One” creator and everything else is a creation that is made by Allaah). And those (stone idol worshippers and others in Mecca, Arabia today in Saudi Arabia) who were made to inherit the Book (the Quran) after them (after the Jews who inherited the Torah and after the Christians who inherited the Gospel, they the stone idol worshippers in Mecca) are in grave doubt concerning it (the Quran, because they still do not believe in the One Allaah who is the creator of every creation but instead they mistakenly believe that there are many gods).

Quran 42:15 Koran 42:15 So (Prophet Muhammad) invite (the people to Allaah), and stay on the correct path as you (Prophet Muhammad) are commanded and do not follow their (the peoples) desires (concerning religion) but say, "I believe what Allaah has sent down of the Book (in the Quran and in the Torah Taurat in Quran 2:41, Quran 3:3, Quran 3:93, Quran 5:43, Quran 5:44, Quran 5:68, Quran 20:133 and in the Gospel Injil in Quran 3:3, Quran 5:47, Quran 5:68 and Quran 20:133) and I am commanded that I do justice between you (the Jews, Christians and Muslims). Allaah is our Lord and your Lord (meaning Allaah is the Lord of the Muslims and the Lord of the Jews and the Christians). For us (Muslims is the responsibility for) our deeds and for you (Jews and Christians is the responsibility for) your deeds. There is no argument between us (Muslims) and between you (the Jews and the Christians because Allaah has revealed the same message to all of us to worship Allaah who created you and do good in the world and reject evil in the world). Allaah shall bring us (Muslims and Christians and Jews and all humankind) together and to Him (Allaah) is the final destination (in the hereafter in Quran 2:62, Quran 3:64, Quran 4:123, Quran 5:48 and Quran 5:69).”

Note 1. There is no argument between Muslims and Jews and Christians because the Tanakh Jewish scripture and the Gospel Injil and the Quran contain the same message to worship Allaah and strive for all that is good.

Quran 42:16 Koran 42:16 And those who argue about (the nature of) Allaah after it has been answered (by Allaah in the Quran which confirms what is already in the Torah and in the Gospel which all confirm that there is only one Allaah who is the creator of every creation and every creation is a servant of Allaah. That is what Allaah has revealed in all Allaah’s books therefore), their argument (that Allaah has partners such as three people inside one Allaah or a real wife or real children such as a real son or a real daughter) shall not be accepted by their Lord (Allaah) and on them is (Allaah’s) wrath (anger) and a severe punishment (in the Hereafter).

(Note 1. Quran 17:60 Koran 17:60 “....We (Allaah) warn (people) and make them afraid (of the punishment in Hellfire) but (for some people) it only increases them in nothing but greater disobedience against Allaah.

Gospel of Matthew 10:24 "A disciple is not above the rabbi, nor a servant above his lord.

Comments:

1. What is a rabbi?

Rabbi is a Jewish teacher.

Jesus is Jewish.

Jesus is a teacher.

The people sometimes called Jesus using the word rabbi.

A rabbi can also be a Jewish religious leader.

A rabbi can also be a scholar who studies Jewish law.

2. What does “above his lord” mean?

Jesus is the leader of his disciples so above his lord can mean “above Jesus.”

Gospel of Matthew 10:25 It is sufficient for the disciple that he become like his rabbi, and the servant like his lord.  If the head of the house has been called Baal-zibbul, how much more the members of his household.

Comments:

1. Who is the head of the house?

Jesus is the leader of his disciples.

2. Who are the members of the household of Jesus?

The 12 disciples of Jesus.

3. What is Baal-zibbul?

Some people said that the miracles preformed by Jesus was through Baal-zibbul (Baal-zebub, Baalzebub) which is a god of idol worship.

Gospel of Matthew 10:26 "So do not fear them.  For there is nothing veiled that will not be unveiled, or hidden that will not be made known.

Gospel of Matthew 10:27 What I say to you in the dark, you are to say in the light; and what you hear whispered into your ear, you are to proclaim on the housetops.

Gospel of Matthew 10:28 And do not fear because of those who kill the body but are not able to kill the soul.  But do fear on the other hand the one who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.

Comments:

1. Who are “those who kill the body but are not able to kill the soul?”

Humans.

2. What is Gehenna?

Hell.

3. Who is “the one who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna?”

Allaah.

Gospel of Matthew 10:29 Are not two sparrows sold for a penny?  Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father.

Comments:

1. What are sparrows?

Birds.

2. What does “apart from your Father” mean?

Except those birds that Allaah has willed to fall to the ground.

Gospel of Matthew 10:30 And as for you, even the hairs of your heads are all numbered.

Gospel of Matthew 10:31 So fear not; you matter more than many sparrows.

Gospel of Matthew 10:32 "Everyone therefore who shall acknowledge me before people, I also shall acknowledge them before my Father in heaven.

Comments:

1. What does “acknowledge me before people” mean?

Confirm in front of humans that Jesus is the prophet and messenger of Allaah.

2. What does “I also shall acknowledge them before my Father in heaven” mean?

Jesus the messenger of Allaah will speak as a witness in front of Allaah on the Day Of Judgement.

3. The tenth sign of the next prophet that Jesus said would come after Jesus in the Gospel of John 14:16, 15:26, 16:7 – 16:15.

How does the Gospel confirm the prophet that Jesus said would come after Jesus?

The Quran and the Gospel confirm what will happen on the Day of Judgement.

See Gospel of Matthew 10:32, 10:39, 13:41 – 13:43, 16:27, 19:28, 21:31, 24:30 and 28:18 comments.

3-1. Prophet Jesus and the followers of Jesus on the Day of Judgement.

Those who lived in the Days of Jesus or who later followed his teaching shall see the Son of Man (the human Jesus) sitting at the right hand of Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven (the angels) on the Day of Judgement to testify for or against those who claimed to follow his teachings regarding the worship of the one Allaah who is the creator of every creation.

Quran 39:69 Koran 39:69 And the earth (meaning, the land) shall shine with the light of its Lord (Allaah, when Allaah shall come to judge men and women on the Day of Resurrection and Judgement) and the Book (of their good and bad deeds) shall be shown. The Prophets (the messenger of Allaah in their time or that they claimed to follow) and the witnesses (the Holy angels including the Holy Spirit and humans) shall be brought and it (the good and bad deeds of men and women) shall be judged between them (the Prophets and the witnesses and the Book of their good and bad deeds) with truth (as Allaah decreed) and they (those who are judged) shall not be wronged (by any incorrect judgement of what they did during their lifetime on the Earth).

3-2. Prophet Moses and the followers of Moses on the Day of Judgement.

Those who lived in the Days of Moses or who later followed his teaching shall see the Son of Man (the human Moses) sitting at the right hand of Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven (the angels) on the Day of Judgement to testify for or against those who claimed to follow his teachings regarding the worship of the one Allaah who is the creator of every creation.

3-3. Prophet Muhammad and the followers of Muhammad on the Day of Judgement.

Those who lived in the Days of Muhammad or who later followed his teaching shall see the Son of Man (the human Muhammad) sitting at the right hand of Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven (the angels) on the Day of Judgement to testify for or against those who claimed to follow his teachings regarding the worship of the one Allaah who is the creator of every creation.

3-4. The prophets and messengers of Allaah and their followers on the Day of Judgement.

Those who lived in the Days of a prophet or messenger or who later followed their teaching shall see the Son of Man (the prophet or messenger) sitting at the right hand of Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven (the angels) on the Day of Judgement to testify for or against those who claimed to follow their teachings regarding the worship of the one Allaah who is the creator of every creation.

Also see Gospel of Matthew 10:32, 10:39, 13:41 – 13:43, 16:27 and 19:28 comments.

Quran 5:69 Koran 5:69 (In the hereafter) truly those (Muslims) who believed and those who became Jews, Christians and Sabians, whoever believed in Allaah and the Last Day (The Day of Resurrection) and did good deeds, they shall have their reward from their Lord, and they shall not fear or grieve (and this is confirmed in Quran 6:158 for those in the hereafter who “believed” and did good deeds. Quran 5:69 repeats Quran 2:62 meaning stop and think about what Allaah is saying in these verses confirming what is in the Hebrew Bible and the Gospel Injil of the promise of Paradise Jannah from Allaah in the books of Allaah on the Day of Resurrection and Judgement for those who “believed” and did good deeds. The Quran brings the same truth which Allaah brought to the Jewish people in the Hebrew Bible and to the Christian people in the Gospel Injil of Jesus Isa by Mark, Matthew, Luke and John. The Quran is a confirmer of what came before it in the same way as the Gospel Injil is a confirmer of what came before it meaning the Books of Allaah confirm each other as proof Allaah is real and as proof His promise is real as explained in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQ3o3ybc-KA showing that without His permission no one can change His words in His Books which are with all humans today and until the Day of Judgement so that you can believe Allaah is real and His promise is real).

Comment 1. Who goes to Paradise Jannah?

Note 1. The Jews who believed in Allaah and did good deeds go to Paradise Jannah.

Note 2. The Christians who believed in Allaah and did good deeds go to Paradise Jannah.

Note 3. The Sabians who believed in Allaah and did good deeds go to Paradise Jannah.

Note 4. The Muslims who believed in Allaah and did good deeds go to Paradise Jannah.

Note 5. Everyone who believed in Allaah and did good deeds goes to Paradise Jannah.

Note 6. This revelation is so important that Allaah has repeated it in Quran 2:62

In Quran 2:62 and Quran 5:69 the promise of Paradise Jannah is not for those who “believe” but only for those who “believed” meaning who died (past tense) because it is not until the time of death that your true belief or disbelief and your good and evil deeds are judged,

Allaah repeated Quran 2:62 and Quran 5:69 two times because it is only with Quran 2:62 and Quran 5:69 that there are no contradictions within the Quran and between the Quran and the Torah Taurat and between the Quran and the Gospel Injil as proof in Quran 4:82 to the Jews in the time of Prophet Muhammad who are promised Paradise Jannah in Quran 3:113-3:115 and to the Christians in the time of Prophet Muhammad who are promised Paradise Jannah in Quran 5:82-5:85 and to the stone idol worshippers 1400 years ago who are not promised Paradise Jannah in Quran 3:85 and to all people today and in the future that the Quran is from Allaah because the Quran contains no contradictions.

If Quran 2:62 and Quran 5:69 did not exist then it would be proof that the Quran was not from Allaah because without Quran 2:62 and Quran 5:69 the Quran would contradict its self and contradict the Torah Taurat and contradict the Gospel Injil.

Quran 2:62 and Quran 5:69 is good news for Jews, Christians, Sabians, Muslims and all the people in the world confirming they will all come together again in a life after death.

Quran 3:85 Koran 3:85 And whoever seeks a religion other than submission (to Allah Adonai Allaah Elohim G-d Allah HaShem Jehovah Yahweh YHWH which includes every human from the beginning of time until the end of time, for example stone idol worship) it shall not be accepted by Him (Allaah) in the Hereafter and (such a person) shall be one of the losers (in the hereafter. The word Islam has two meanings, the general meaning is submission in Quran 3:85 meaning anyone who submits to Allaah).

Note 1. The Muslim religion Islam is the religion of submission to Allaah (Quran 3:64).

Note 2. The Jewish religion Judaism is the religion of submission to Allaah (Quran 3:64).

Note 3. The Christian religion Christianity is the religion of submission to Allaah (Quran 3:64).

Note 4. Islam means submission and the Quran tells the Jews to observe the Sabbath Day meaning all Jews who observe the Sabbath Day are submitting to Allaah which means the word in Quran 3:85 is submission otherwise it would contradict other verses in the Quran and the Quran says it has no contradictions.

This means only one word "submission" is correct because it is the word with which there are no contradictions in the Quran.

Quran 49:13 Koran 49:13 All humans (hear this), We (Allaah revealed through Angel Gabriel to Prophet Muhammad) have created you (humans) male and female and have made you nations and tribes so that you may know one another. The noblest of you in the sight of Allaah is the most righteous (in behaviour). Allaah knows all and is aware of all things.

Quran 3:113 Koran 3:113 Not all of them (Jews and Christians) are the same, some of the people of the Scripture (the Jews and Christians) stand for what is right and they recite the revelations of Allaah during the hours of the night prostrating themselves in prayer (to Allaah).

Quran 3:114 Koran 3:114 Those (Jews and Christians) believe in Allaah and the Last Day and they do what is right and forbid what is wrong and they are quick to do good deeds and they are among the righteous.

Quran 3:115 Koran 3:115 And whatever good they (the Jews and Christians) do, it shall be accepted and Allaah knows very well who are the righteous (among the Jews and Christians).

Quran 22:17 Koran 22:17 Those who believed (and followed the Quran), and those who became Jews (and followed the Torah), and Sabians and Christians (who believed and followed the Gospel) and Zoroastrians and idol worshippers, Allaah shall decide between them on the Day of Resurrection. Allaah is the witness to all things.

Quran 39:68 Koran 39:68 The Horn (Trumpet) is blown and all who are in the heavens and the earth shall fall down dead except whoever Allaah wills. Then it (the Horn, Trumpet) is blown a second time and they (the resurrected humans) shall all be standing and looking.

Quran 78:38 Koran 78:38 The Day (of Judgement) when the Spirit (angel Gabriel) and the (other) angels shall stand in rows and they shall not speak except for the one whom the most merciful (Allaah) allows (to speak) and they (the Spirit and the other angels) shall say what is correct.

Quran 39:70 Koran 39:70 And every soul shall be paid in full for what it did (in the life of the world). He (Allaah) is aware of what they do (without need of knowledge from the prophets or the witnesses or the Book of good and bad deeds which are used to show the soul the proof that the judgement of Allaah is correct).

Quran 78:39 Koran 78:39 That Day (of Judgement) is the Truth (it is real). So whoever wills should (prepare now to) return (to the hereafter with a correct belief and with good deeds from this life) to their Lord (Allaah).

Gospel of Matthew 10:34 "Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace upon the earth.  I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.

Comments:

1. What is peace?

Peace is to leave things the way they are.

2. What is the sword.

The sword is to change the way things are.

3. What is the sword?

The sword is the Good News from Allaah (The Gospel from Allaah).

4. What does “I did not come to bring peace, but a sword” mean?

Jesus did not come to the world so that things would be as they were before he came.

Jesus came to change the world by delivering the word of Allaah in the Gospel.

5. Killing between Jews.

In the time after Jesus the Jews who believed that Jesus was a false prophet killed the Jews who believed that Jesus was a true prophet. This killing between Jews does not exist today.

6. Killing between Christians.

Later when Christianity was established the Christians who believed that Jesus was Allaah killed the Christians who believed that Jesus was not Allaah but a prophet of Allaah. This killing between Christians does not exist today.

7. Killing between Muslims.

Later when Islam was established the Muslims of one sect killed the Muslims in another sect accusing them of splitting and abandoning the religion of Islam. This killing between Muslims exists today however with education such killing will end just as similar killings ended in Judaism and Christianity.

2-2. The eleventh sign of the next prophet that Jesus said would come after Jesus in the Gospel of John 14:16, 15:26, 16:7 – 16:15.

How does the Gospel confirm the prophet that Jesus said would come after Jesus?

The Quran and the Gospel confirm the scriptures that came before them.

The Quran confirms that the Torah, Gospel and Quran are all from Allaah.

Gospel of Matthew 10:37 "He who loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and he who loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me;

Comment:

6. The sixth sign of the next prophet that Jesus said would come after Jesus in the Gospel of John 14:16, 15:26, 16:7 – 16:15.

The prophet after Jesus confirmed what Jesus said about how humans should love Allaah and the messenger from Allaah.

The Quran confirms the Gospel regarding the relationship between humans and a human prophet of Allaah.

Quran 9:24 Koran 9:24 Say (Prophet Muhammad to the believers), If your fathers, and your sons, and your brethren, and your wives, and your tribe, and the wealth you have collected, and merchandise for which you fear a decline in trade (if you disassociate your self from the stone idol worshippers), and dwellings you desire, are dearer (more important) to you than is Allaah and His (Allaah’s) Messenger and striving in His (Allaah’s) way, then wait until Allaah brings His (Allaah’s) decision (of who is to be punished and who is to be rewarded in the hereafter). Allaah does not (rightly) guide people that do wrong.

Quran 33:6 Koran 33:6 The Prophet (Muhammad) is closer to the believers (in the deserving of loyalty and obedience, and has more concern for them) than their (the believers) own relatives, and their (the believers) wives and their (the believers) mothers. And in the decree of Allaah relatives are themselves closer to one another (in the deserving of inheritance) than to other believers (who are not related to them) or emigrants (who fled Mecca to Yathrib, Medina) but you should (also) be kind to your friends (through inheritance). This is written in the Book (of Decrees, the Preserved Book, Preserved Page, Preserved Tablet).

Gospel of Matthew 10:38 and he who does not take up his cross and follow behind me is not worthy of me.

Comments:

1. What does “take up his cross” mean?

Accept whatever difficulty Allaah has willed.

2. What does “he who does not take up his cross and follow behind me is not worthy of me” mean?

The one among the disciples of Jesus who does not accept whatever difficulty Allaah has willed and follows the example of Jesus is not worthy of favourable testimony when Jesus gives evidence to Allaah on the Day of Judgement.

Gospel of Matthew 10:39 The person who finds his life will lose it, and the one who loses his life for my sake will find it.

Comments:

1. What does “The person who finds his life will lose it, and the one who loses his life for my sake will find it” mean?

The person who lives a life of wrongdoing will loss their life with an everlasting punishment in the Hereafter but the person who lives life by what Jesus revealed will find a life of everlasting reward in Paradise.

The person who lives a life of wrongdoing will loss their life with an everlasting punishment in the Hereafter but the person who lives life by what the messengers of Allaah have revealed will find a life of everlasting reward in Paradise.

2-1. Those who lived in the time of Moses.

The person who lives a life of wrongdoing will loss their life with an everlasting punishment in the Hereafter but the person who lives life by what Moses revealed will find a life of everlasting reward in Paradise.

2-2. Those who lived in the time of Muhammad.

The person who lives a life of wrongdoing will loss their life with an everlasting punishment in the Hereafter but the person who lives life by what Muhammad revealed will find a life of everlasting reward in Paradise.

2-3. Those who lived in the time of a messenger of Allaah.

Gospel of Matthew 10:40 "He who receives you receives me, and he who receives me receives the one who sent me.

Comment:

The fifth sign of the next prophet that Jesus said would come after Jesus in the Gospel of John 14:16, 15:26, 16:7 – 16:15.

How does the Gospel confirm the revelation of the prophet after Jesus that Jesus is not Allaah but a human prophet and messenger of Allaah?

In the Gospel of Matthew 10:40 Jesus said that the person who accepts the message from the disciples of Jesus has also accepted Jesus and those who have accepted Jesus have also accept Allaah who is the one who sent the revelations of the Gospel to Jesus.

Allaah sent the revelations of the Gospel to Jesus.

The disciples and Jesus and Allaah are three different things.

The Gospel of Matthew 11:1 confirms that these comments are directed by Jesus to his disciples.

Prophet Muhammad was sent after Jesus to correct the confusion between Allaah and Jesus.

Gospel of Matthew 10:41 He who receives a prophet because of the title of prophet will receive a prophet's reward, and he who receives a righteous one because of the title of righteous one will receive a righteous one's reward.

Comments:

1. A prophet of Allaah.

The seventh sign of the next prophet that Jesus said would come after Jesus in the Gospel of John 14:16, 15:26, 16:7 – 16:15.

The Quran and the Gospel confirm that Jesus is a prophet of Allaah.

The Gospel of Matthew 11:1 confirms that these comments are directed by Jesus to his disciples.

In the Gospel of Matthew 10:41 the prophet is Jesus who is the messenger of Allaah.

In the Gospel of Matthew 10:41 the righteous are the disciples of Jesus.

The Gospel of Matthew 10:41 reveals that the person who accepts the message delivered by a prophet of Allaah will receive the same reward from Allaah as the prophet receives which means that both the prophet of Allaah and those who accept the message delivered by the prophet of Allaah shall be rewarded with everlasting life in Paradise

The reward to a prophet of Allaah is everlasting life in Paradise.

Jesus is a prophet.

Jesus is a prophet of Allaah therefore Allaah will give Jesus everlasting life in Paradise.

People who accept the message from Allaah in the Gospel which was delivered by Jesus will receive from Allaah everlasting life in Paradise.

People who accept the message from Allaah in the Torah which was delivered by Moses will receive from Allaah everlasting life in Paradise.

People who accept the message from Allaah in the Quran which was delivered by Muhammad will receive from Allaah everlasting life in Paradise.

Also see Gospel of Matthew 10:41, 11:3 and 21:46 comments.

2. A righteous person.

The reward of a righteous person is everlasting life in Paradise.

The disciples who obey what Allaah revealed to Prophet Jesus are righteous.

The disciples who obey what Allaah revealed to Prophet Jesus shall have everlasting life in Paradise.

3. The righteous shall be rewarded in the Hereafter.

3-1. The righteous shall be rewarded in the Hereafter is confirmed in the Jewish Bible in the time before Jesus.

Allaah revealed that the righteous shall go to Paradise in the Jewish Hebrew Bible.

Jewish Hebrew Bible Psalms 37:29 The righteous shall inherit the land (of paradise), and dwell (live) in there forever.

Jewish Hebrew Bible Proverbs 11:4 Riches do not profit (humans) on the day of wrath (Allaah’s anger towards the wicked on the Day of Judgement); but righteousness delivers (humans) from death (Allaah’s mercy to the righteous on the Day of Judgement).

Jewish Hebrew Bible Daniel 12:2 And many of them (humans) that sleep (dead) in the dust of the earth shall awake (be resurrected from death back to life), some to everlasting life (in Paradise), and some to reproaches (criticism for how they lived their first life) and everlasting abhorrence (loathing in Hell Fire).

3-2. The righteous shall be rewarded in the Hereafter is confirmed in the Gospel in the time of Jesus.

Allaah revealed to Prophet Jesus that the righteous shall go to Paradise in the Gospel.

Gospel of Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart (the righteous): for they shall see (the grace of) Allaah (in the hereafter).

Gospel of Matthew 10:41 “… and he who receives a righteous one because of the title of righteous one will receive a righteous one's reward.

Gospel of Matthew 25:46 And these (unrighteous) shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous (shall go) into eternal life (in Paradise).

3-3. The righteous shall be rewarded in the Hereafter is confirmed in the Quran in the time of Muhammad.

Allaah revealed to Prophet Muhammad that the righteous shall go to Paradise in the Quran.

Quran 45:14 Koran 45:14 Say (Prophet Muhammad) to those who believe (that) they (should) forgive those who do not expect the Days of Allaah (in the hereafter, meaning forgive the disbelievers, forgive the non believers, forgive the stone idol worshippers in Mecca, forgive the people who do not believe in Allaah) so that He (Allaah) may reward (the righteous) people for what they earn (in reward for the hereafter by obeying Allaah’s command that the believers among the humans forgive the disbelievers among the humans in this life in the same way that believing humans in this life wish Allaah to forgive the believers in the next life).

(Note: Later verses that Allaah revealed in the Quran during a time of war with stone idol worshippers in Mecca, Arabia today Saudi Arabia do not cancel the revelations Allaah revealed earlier in the Quran just as the verses that Allaah revealed in the Torah during a time of war with stone idol worshippers in Canaan today Israel and Palestine do not cancel the revelations Allaah revealed earlier in the Torah.

All of Allaah’s verses carry a message of wisdom for humankind.

Some verses give guidance in times of war and other verses give guidance in times of peace.

The correct interpretation of each verse in the Books of Allaah gives knowledge and wisdom and guidance to whoever Allaah wills.

Quran 42:40 Koran 42:40 “… but whoever forgives (the evil that was done to them) and makes reconciliation then their reward (for such a righteous deed) shall come from Allaah. He (Allaah) does not like the wrongdoers.

Quran 76:11 Koran 76:11 So (in the hereafter) Allaah shall save them (who are the righteous among the humans) from the evil of (the hell fire on) that Day (of Judgement) and give them (the light of) radiance (in their appearance and in their righteous knowledge) and happiness (in Paradise).

Quran 74:38 Koran 74:38 Every soul shall be responsible for their deeds

Quran 74:39 Koran 74:39 Except the companions of the right (the righteous, who shall receive their record of their deeds in their right hand and who shall be admitted to Paradise with their bad deeds forgiven by Allaah)..

Quran 92:15 Koran 92:15 None shall enter (Hell) except the most unfortunate (wrongdoers).

Quran 92:16 Koran 92:16 (Such as) those who have rejected (Allaah) and turned away (from Allaah. And so Allaah shall also reject them and turn Allaah’s mercy away from them).

Quran 92:17 Koran 92:17 But the person who is righteous shall avoid it (the punishment in Hell).

Quran 103:2 Koran 103:2 Humans are lost (from the mercy of Allaah) –

Quran 103:3 Koran 103:3 Except those who believe and who do righteous deeds and who encourage each other to the truth and encourage each other to have patience.

3-4. What is the truth?

Quran 78:39 Koran 78:39 That Day (of Judgement) is the Truth (it is real). So whoever wills should (prepare now to) return (to the hereafter with a correct belief and with good deeds from this life) to their Lord (Allaah).

Gospel of Matthew 10:42 Truly I tell you, whoever gives even just a cup of cold water to one of these little ones because of the title of disciple, will certainly not lose his reward."

Comment:

Who are “one of these little ones?”

One of these little ones because they are a disciple of Jesus.

The greatest among the servants of Allaah is the person who is a servant to everyone.

The greatest among the servants of Allaah is the person who is the most humble to everyone.

These little ones are the disciples of Jesus.

Even a person who gives a disciple a cup of water will be rewarded in the Hereafter.

Jesus has ordered his disciples to take nothing with them as they visit every town in Israel so any person who gives even a cup of cold water to one of the disciples of Jesus will be rewarded in the Hereafter.

The Gospel of Matthew 11:1 confirms that these comments are directed by Jesus to his disciples.

Gospel of Matthew 11:1 And it came about that when Jesus had finished giving orders to his twelve disciples, he removed himself from there to teach and preach in their towns.

Gospel of Matthew 11:2 And when John was hearing in prison about the works of Christ, he, sending word through his disciples,

Who is John?

John is John the Baptiser also known as John the Baptizer, John the Baptist and Prophet John.

Gospel of Matthew 11:3 said to him, "Are you the one who was to come, or should we expect another?"

Comments:

1. The seventh sign of the next prophet that Jesus said would come after Jesus in the Gospel of John 14:16, 15:26, 16:7 – 16:15.

The Quran and the Gospel confirm that Jesus is a prophet of Allaah.

What does “Are you the one who was to come” mean?

Are you the prophet of Allaah who is called the Messiah?

Are you the messenger of Allaah who is called the Messiah?

Are you the prophet of Allaah who is called the anointed one?

Are you the messenger of Allaah who is called the anointed one?

Are you the prophet of Allaah who is called the Christ?

Are you the messenger of Allaah who is called the Christ?

Also see Gospel of Matthew 10:41, 11:3 and 21:46 comments.

Quran 3:45 Koran 3:45 (Remember) when the angels said, "O Mary, Allaah gives you the good news of a Word from Him (a word from Allaah of a baby boy who will be born to you by the will of Allaah and) his name shall be the Messiah Jesus the son of Mary (Jesus Christ the son of Mary, who shall be), held in honour in this world and in the Hereafter and (he, Jesus) shall be one of those who are near to Allaah."

(Note 1. Messiah means the anointed one).

1-1. Why is Jesus called the Messiah?

The children of Israel were waiting for the Messiah.

Allaah sent Jesus to test the faith of the leaders of the Second House of Allaah in Jerusalem. Al-Quds, Judea today in southern Israel and Palestine.

Allaah’s message was rejected by the Temple leadership and resulted 37 years after Jesus left the Earth in the destruction of the Second House of Allaah in Jerusalem. Al-Quds, Judea today in southern Israel and Palestine.

1-2. If the leaders of the Second House of Allaah in Jerusalem. Al-Quds, Judea had accepted Allaah’s message then they would have received Allaah’s blessings through the Messiah that they had been expecting.

The rejection of Allaah by the leaders of the Second House of Allaah in Jerusalem. Al-Quds, Judea resulted in Allaah giving His House to another people 73 years after Prophet Muhammad left the Earth when the Al-Aqsa Mosque was established on the same Holy ground where the First and Second Houses of Allaah had stood.

Only Allaah had the power to give permission for another people to establish the Al-Aqsa mosque on the ground where the First and Second Houses of Allaah had stood on Allaah’s sacred Temple mount in Jerusalem. Al-Quds, Palestine today in Israel and Palestine.

1-3. The establishment 73 years after Prophet Muhammad left the Earth of the Al-Aqsa mosque on Allaah’s sacred Temple mount in Jerusalem. Al-Quds, Palestine today in Israel and Palestine is confirmation from Allaah that Prophet Muhammad is the prophet that Jesus said would come after Jesus in the Gospel of John 14:16, 15:26, 16:7 – 16:15.

2. What does Messiah mean in theTanakh Jewish scripture?

What does Mashiah mean?

What does Moshiach mean?

What does meshiach mean?

What does moshiah mean?

What does mashiach mean?

Among the children of Israel a king or the high priest were anointed with sacred oil.

King David was called the anointed of the Allaah of Jacob.

There is a Jewish tradition that a Messiah who is a descendant of King David will establish a kingdom of Allaah on the Earth.

Jesus showed that humans are tested on the Earth and that the home for the permanent kingdom of Allaah is in heaven in the Hereafter.

Jesus is the anointed prophet and messenger of Allaah.

Gospel of Matthew 11:4 And in answer, Jesus said to them, "Go and report back to John what things you are hearing and seeing:

Gospel of Matthew 11:5 The blind see again and the lame walk, lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear, and the dead are raised and the good news is preached to the poor.

Comment:

How is it possible for Jesus to make the lame walk?

How is it possible for Jesus to make clean the lepers?

How is it possible for Jesus to make the deaf hear?

How is it possible for Jesus to make the dead rise?

Allaah gave the power of miracles to Jesus just as Allaah gave the power of miracles to Moses.

Gospel of Matthew 11:6 And tell him, 'Blessed be whoever is not offended on account of me.' "

Gospel of Matthew 11:7 And as they were leaving, Jesus began to speak to the crowd about John: "What did you go out into the desert to see?  A reed being swayed to and fro by the wind?

Gospel of Matthew 11:8 On the contrary, what did you go out to see?  Someone dressed in delicate finery?  Behold, those wearing delicate finery are in kings' houses.

Gospel of Matthew 11:9 On the contrary, what did you go out to see?  A prophet?  Yes indeed I tell you, and more than a prophet.

Gospel of Matthew 11:10 This is the one about whom it is written: 'Behold, I am sending my messenger before your face, who will prepare your way before you.'

Gospel of Matthew 11:11 Truly I tell you: Among those born of women there has not risen anyone greater than John the Baptizer.  But the one who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

Comments:

1. What does “Among those born of women there has not risen anyone greater than John the Baptizer” mean?

In the time of John, among the children of Israel no one who was born was greater than John the Baptizer.

In earlier times the children of Israel had lost the First House of Allaah.

John the Baptizer prepared the way for a test that would decide if the children of Israel would not only loose the House of Allaah for a second time but if the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, Al-Quds would be given to a different people.

It was John the Baptizer who was to prepare the way for Jesus who would deliver the test and the warning to the leaders of the Second House of Allaah in Jerusalem, Al-Quds, Judea today in southern Israel and Palestine.

2. What does “But the one who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.”

The kingdom of heaven means the kingdom of Allaah.

The one who is least are all the people below the rank of a prophet.

The one who is greater are all the people who have access to the knowledge delivered by Jesus.

Is greater than Prophet John means greater in knowledge because they live in the time when the Gospel was revealed.

3. Who has the greatest knowledge?

Those who correctly understand the Torah and the Gospel have more knowledge than those who correctly understand only the Torah.

Those who correctly understand the Torah and the Gospel have more knowledge than those who correctly understand only the Gospel.

Those who correctly understand the Torah and the Gospel and the Quran have more knowledge than those who correctly understand only one of Allaah’s Books.

4. What is the most important knowledge that is contained in the Torah, Gospel and Quran?

a. There is one Allaah who is the creator of every creation.

b. Only Allaah who is the creator of every creation has the power to hear pray.

c. Only Allaah who is the creator of every creation has the power to forgive wrong doing.

d. Forgiveness comes by asking Allaah for forgiveness.

e. Allaah will be kind and merciful to you in the Hereafter if you are kind and merciful to other humans in your lifetime.

f. Pray to a creation that is living or dead is called idol worship.

The Quran confirms that the Torah, Gospel and Quran are all from Allaah.

See Gospel of Matthew 5:44, 6:1, 10:36, 11:11, 13:52, 22:46, 24:11, 24:14 and 24:36 comments.

Quran 3:84 Koran 3:84 Say (Prophet Muhammad), "We believe in Allaah and in what has been revealed to us, and what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob and the tribes (the 12 tribes of the children of Israel and others) and what was revealed to Moses, Jesus and the Prophets from their Lord (Allaah). We make no distinction between any of them (meaning, all the prophets had one message, worship only the one Allaah who is the creator) and to Him (Allaah) we bow (in submission to Allaah’s will)."

Gospel of Matthew 11:12 And from the days of John the Baptizer until now, the kingdom of heaven has been aggressively advancing, and the aggressive are seizing it.

Comments:

1. What does “the kingdom of heaven has been aggressively advancing” mean?

The time of the Day of Resurrection and the beginning of a new life in heaven comes closer every day.

2. What does “the aggressive are seizing it” mean?

Those with wisdom are assertively using their time on the Earth to make a righteous life that will gain them enter to Paradise.

Gospel of Matthew 11:13 For all the Prophets and the Law prophesied until John.

Comments:

1. What does “For all the Prophets and the Law prophesied until John” mean?

(Those with wisdom are assertively using their time on the Earth to make a righteous life that will gain them enter to Paradise) based on what was revealed by all the Prophets and the Law prophesied until John.

2. What was revealed by all the Prophets and the Law up to the time of John regarding entry into Paradise?

The righteous shall enter Paradise.

See Gospel of Matthew 10:40 comments.

3. What else did the prophets before Prophet John prophesy?

The coming of a Messiah who would bring peace.

4. What is peace?

Peace exists in the heart of humans when they have faith and patience in the knowledge that the righteous will enter Paradise in the Hereafter.

If every human had that belief and only followed peace and if every human who did not believe desired peace and only followed peace then there would exist peace on Earth if Allaah willed.

Those who believe in Paradise believe in an everlasting peace in the Hereafter.

Gospel of Matthew 11:14 And if you are willing to receive it, he is the Elijah who was to come.

Comments:

John is not in reality Elijah just as Jesus is not in reality Allaah.

2. Who is Elijah?

Prophet Elijah is to return to Earth to prepare the way for the Messiah.

3. What does “if you are willing to receive it” mean?

If you are willing to receive peace (which is the knowledge that the righteous will enter Paradise in the Hereafter) then know that John is the Elijah who was to come.

4. How can Prophet John be Prophet Elijah who was the prophet to come?

One human cannot be another human.

The promised messiah in Tanakh Jewish scripture is named David.

1. The messiah David comes after the last war in Zechariah 12:1-14 not before the last war.

2. The last war is between Israel and Gog.

3. After this war all Israel will repent together to Allaah as a nation in Isaiah 59:20.

4. Then comes Prophet Elijah together with Judah and the lost tribes of Israel on the Day of Resurrection before the great and awesome Day of Judgement in Malachi 3:23 or Malachi 4:5 in a Christian Bible and everyone will repent on the Day of Resurrection in Malachi 3:24 or Malachi 4:6 in a Christian Bible.

5. Then comes the messiah king David on the Day of Judgement in Isaiah 2:4, Hosea 3:5 and Daniel 7:13 and everyone who followed his example by repenting for their sins and corrected their behaviour will be saved by Allaah in Psalm 32:5, Psalm 51:17-19 or Psalm 51:15-17 in a Christian Bible, Ezekiel 18:21-23, 1 Kings 3:14, 1 Kings 11:38 and 2 Kings 22:2 meaning Allaah will judge who was sincere in their repentance when they were living before the Day of Resurrection so that they might live forever and not be destroyed in Daniel 12:2.

5. What is peace?

See Gospel of Matthew 11:13 comments.

Gospel of Matthew 11:15 Let the one who has ears, hear."

Gospel of Matthew 11:16 "To what, then, shall I compare this generation?  It is like children sitting in the marketplace, calling out to the others, saying:

Gospel of Matthew 11:17 " 'We played the flute for you, and you didn't dance; we sang a dirge, and you didn't mourn.'

Gospel of Matthew 11:18 For John the Baptizer came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, 'He has a demon.'

Comment:

What does “John the Baptizer has a demon” mean?

John the Baptizer does not eat or drink because he is using the power of an evil demon.

Gospel of Matthew 11:19 The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, 'Behold a glutton and a wino, a friend of revenue agents and sinners.'  Well, wisdom is vindicated by her works."

Comments:

1. What does Son of Man mean?

Son of man means human.

The Gospel is the story of one human called Jesus.

The Gospel is the story of one son of man called Jesus.

2. What does “wisdom is vindicated by her works” mean?

The wise person knows the difference between a true prophet and a false prophet by what they see, hear and read about what that prophet has said and done.

3. The first sign of the next prophet that Jesus said would come after Jesus in the Gospel of John 14:16, 15:26, 16:7 – 16:15.

Jesus reveals that a prophet will come after him and shows the difference between a true and a false prophet.

See Gospel of Matthew 7:20 comments.

Woe on unrepentant cities.

Gospel of Matthew 11:20 Then he began to denounce the cities in which most of his miracles had occurred, because they had not repented:

Gospel of Matthew 11:21 "Woe to you, Korazin!  Woe to you, Bethsaida!  For if the miracles that happened in you had taken place in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.

Comments:

1. Where is Korazin?

Where is Chorazin?

Korazin is in the Galilee north of Judea. Korazin today is in northern Israel.

Chorazin is in the Galilee north of Judea. Chorazin today is in northern Israel.

2. Where is Bethsaida?

Bethsaida is in the Galilee north of Judea. Bethsaida today is in northern Israel.

3. Where is Tyre?

Tyre is in Phoenicia today in southern Lebanon.

4. Where is Sidon?

Sidon is north of Tyre in Phoenicia today in southern Lebanon.

Gospel of Matthew 11:22 Regardless, I tell you, it will be more bearable for Tyre and Sidon on the day of judgment than for you.

Gospel of Matthew 11:23 And you, Capernaum, will you be exalted to the skies?  No, you will sink as far as Hades.  Because if the miracles that happened in you had taken place in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.

Comments:

1. Where is Capernaum?

Capernaum was a fishing village on the Sea of Galilee in Galilee today in northern Israel.

2. What is Hades?

Where is Hades?

Hades is Hell.

Quran 17:60 Koran 17:60 “....We (Allaah) warn (people) and make them afraid (of the punishment in Hellfire) but (for some) it only increases them in nothing but greater disobedience against Allaah.

3. Where is Sodom?

Sodom is north of the Dead Sea in Canaan today in Israel.

Gospel of Matthew 11:24 Regardless, I tell you, it will be more bearable for Sodom on the day of judgment than for you."

Rest for the weary.

Gospel of Matthew 11:25 At that time Jesus continued, and said, "I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the sophisticated and learned, and revealed them to little children.

Comments:

Jesus does not have real children just as Allaah does not have real sons or real daughters or real children.

2. Who is Father?

Allaah is called the Father of every creation.

Allaah is the creator of every creation.

Just as a human obeys their father then in a much greater way every creation must willingly or unwillingly obey Allaah who is the Father of every creation.

3. What does “I praise you, Father” mean?

Jesus praises Allaah.

4. Who is Allaah?

Jesus said Allaah is the Lord of heaven and Earth.

Jesus is praising the Lord of heaven and Earth in the Gospel of Matthew 11:25.

Jesus is not Allaah and this confirms the message of the prophet that Jesus said would come after Jesus in the Gospel of John 14:16, 15:26, 16:7 – 16:15.

5. Who are “the sophisticated and learned?”

The sophisticated and learned are the leaders of religion and politics.

6. Who are the little children?

The disciples of Jesus who accepted Jesus like little children are described as the little children of Jesus.

Those who are humble and modest like little children are humble and modest will enter the kingdom of heaven.

Note that Jesus does not have real children.

In the same way when Jesus is described as the son of Allaah it means that Jesus is the obedient servant of Allaah.

Note that Allaah does not have a wife or real sons or real daughters or real children.

Gospel of Matthew 11:26 Yes, Father, for it was pleasing this way in your sight.

Comment:

1. Who is Father?

Allaah is called the Father of every creation.

Allaah is the creator of every creation.

Like a human obeys their Father in a much greater way every creation must willingly or unwillingly obey Allaah.

Gospel of Matthew 11:27 "All things have been handed over to me by my Father.  No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.

Comments:

1. What does “All things have been handed over to me by my Father” mean?

Jesus says that all his wisdom and powers and the authority of a prophet and messenger to reveal the word of Allaah has been given to Jesus by Allaah just as Allaah determines what wisdom and powers is given to each human.

2. What does “No one knows the Son except the Father” means?

No one knows Jesus who is the servant of Allaah except Allaah just as no one knows everything about the servants of Allaah except Allaah.

No one knows Jesus except Allaah just as no one really knows everything about any human except Allaah.

3. What does “no one knows the Father except the Son” mean?

Jesus is the messenger of Allaah so only Jesus knows what Allaah is commanding.

Only a prophet and a messenger of Allaah has revelations from Allaah which is a special power that is not normally given to other humans.

4. What does “and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him” mean?

(Jesus is the messenger of Allaah so only Jesus knows what Allaah is commanding) as well as those humans to whom Jesus reveals what Allaah has commanded.

Gospel of Matthew 11:28 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

Comment:

What is rest?

Rest is peace.

Gospel of Matthew 11:29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

Comments:

1. What is “take my yoke on you and learn from me” mean?

I will teach you to do the work that I do. Be gentle and humble in heart like me and you will find rest for your souls.

2. What does “rest for your souls” mean?

Peace exists in the heart of humans when they have faith and patience in the knowledge that the righteous will enter Paradise in the Hereafter.

Jesus (talking to his disciples) says; if you have a gentle and humble heart then you will find rest for your souls

See the Gospel of Matthew 11:28 comment.

Gospel of Matthew 11:30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

Comments:

1. What does “my yoke is easy and my burden is light” mean?

Jesus (talking to his disciples) says; my work is easy to do.

2. What is the burden?

The burden is the work of passing the Good News (the Gospel) that Allaah has revealed through the Holy Spirit to Jesus.
