1. What happens when a human dies?

The story of Prophet Enoch shows what happens when a human dies.

Whenever a human dies their soul is taken by Allaah.

The human body is buried in the earth and only the soul is raised to heaven and Allaah.

There are no physical human bodies in heaven until the Day of Resurrection when all humans will be resurrected from death back to life.

Genesis 5:14 And all the days of Kenan were nine hundred and ten years; (910 years) and he died.

Genesis 5:15 And Mahalalel lived sixty and five years (65 years), and begot (had) Jared.

Genesis 5:16 And Mahalalel lived after he begot (had) Jared eight hundred and thirty years (830 years), and begot (had) sons and daughters.

Genesis 5:24 And Enoch Idris walked with Allaah, and he was not; for Allaah took him.

Comment 1. Enoch Idris.

Enoch Idris died like other humans before him and Allaah reveals that Allaah took him.

Genesis 5:24 And Enoch Idris walked with Allaah (means Allaah judged that he was righteous), and he was not (meaning he died); for Allaah took him (means Allaah took his soul just as Allaah takes every soul when any human dies).

1. Death and ascension.

When a person dies their soul ascends to heaven.

When death comes then the soul ascends to heaven.

Ecclesiastes 9:5 For the living know that they shall die; but the dead know nothing, neither have they (those who died have) any more a reward (for praising Allaah); because (in death) they have no memory (of anything).

Zabur Psalm 6:6 For there is no memory of You (Allaah) in death; in the grave, who will thank You (Allaah)

Note 1. Praying to saints is idol worship because people who have died have no power to hear prayer.

Note 2. Praying to dead people is useless because dead people cannot even pray for themselves.

Zabur Psalm 146:4 (When death comes) his breath goes out, he returns to the earth (as dust); in that very day (of his death) his thoughts perish (meaning he has no memory in death).

Isaiah 38:18 For the dead in the grave cannot praise You (Allaah), death cannot celebrate You (Allaah); they that go down into the grave cannot hope for Your (Allaah’s) truth (because those in the grave have no memory).

Note 1. Praying to saints is idol worship because people who have died have no power to hear prayer.

Note 2. Praying to dead people is useless because dead people cannot even pray for themselves.

2. Ascension to where?

The soul is raised to the care of Allaah in Heaven and the body is buried in the Earth until the Day of Resurrection and Judgement when the soul will be given a new body.

Ecclesiastes 12:7 And (in death) the dust returns to the earth as it was and the spirit returns to Allaah who gave it.

3. Heaven and Hell.

No one goes to Heaven for reward or Hell for punishment until the hour of the Day of Resurrection (of the body) and the Day of Judgement (by Allaah) when all humans are resurrected and judged..

The souls of the dead are under the care of Allaah until the hour of the Day of Resurrection (of the body) and the Day of Judgement (by Allaah).

Praying to saints is idol worship because people who have died have no power to hear prayer or to even pray for themselves in Ecclesiastes 9:5, Zabur Psalm 6:6, Zabur Psalm 146:4 and Isaiah 38:18.

Isaiah 26:19 Your dead shall live, “My dead bodies shall arise, awake and sing, you that dwell in the dust (grave) for Your (Allaah’s) dew (the Torah) is like the dew of light (of guidance), and the earth shall bring to life the shades (those in the graves).

Daniel 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to reproaches and everlasting abhorrence.

Genesis 5:25 And Methuselah lived a hundred eighty and seven years (187 years), and begot (had) Lamech.

Genesis 5:26 And Methuselah lived after he begot (had) Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years (782 years), and begot (had) sons and daughters.

Genesis 5:27 And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years (969 years); and he died.

Genesis 5:28 And Lamech lived a hundred eighty and two years (182 years), and begot (had) a son.

Genesis 5:29 And he (Lamech) called his name Noah, saying: “This same (son) shall comfort us in our work and in the toil (work) of our hands, which comes from the ground which the LORD (Allaah) has cursed.”

Genesis 5:30 And Lamech lived after he begot (had) Noah five hundred ninety and five years (595 years), and begot (had) sons and daughters.

Genesis 5:31 And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years (777 years); and he died.

Genesis 5:32 And Noah was five hundred years old (500 years old); and Noah begot (had) Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

2. What happens when humans die?

Death.

Allaah decrees the death of every creation.

Allaah decrees the death of every human.

Death only comes when Allaah wills death to come.

Death only comes when Allaah wills death to come so no one can die except at the time when Allaah has decreed their death.

Allaah decrees that every human dies.

Every human shall taste death.

Every human shall die.

The purpose of life and death.

The purpose of life and death is to test which of you is best in behavior.

After life on earth comes death on earth.

When death comes the soul is taken up to Allaah.

The human soul.

The soul of every human is taken up to Allaah.

The soul of every human is taken up to heaven.

The soul of every human is taken up to heaven by Allaah.

The soul of every human is raised up to Allaah.

The soul of every human is raised up to heaven.

The soul of every human is raised up to heaven by Allaah.

Every creation ascends to Allaah when they die.

Every creation is taken up to Allaah when they die.

Every creation is raised up by Allaah when they die.

Every creation is raised to Allaah when they die.

Every creation is raised by Allaah when they die.

Every human dies and their soul is taken up to Allaah.

Every living creature dies and their soul is taken up to Allaah.

Every created thing passes away and is taken up to Allaah.

When a human dies their soul is taken up to Allaah.

When a human dies their soul is raised to Allaah.

When a human dies their soul is taken up to heaven.

When a human dies their soul is raised to heaven.

When a human dies their soul is taken up to heaven and to Allaah.

When a human dies their soul is raised to heaven and to Allaah.

The soul of a human leaves the earth during sleep and when they die.

The resting place for the human body is on the earth.

Every human dies.

The grave on the earth is the resting place for the human body where bones become dust.

The resting place for human souls is in heaven.

Every human dies but their soul lives in heaven..

Heaven is the resting place for human souls and every soul lives under the care of Allaah.

Every human who has died lives as a soul in heaven under the care of Allaah.

The human body.

The human body is designed for life on the earth.

The human body is not designed for life in heaven.

The earth is the resting place for the human body.

Heaven is the resting place for the human soul.

On the Day of Resurrection and Judgement each human soul shall be given a new physical human body that can feel reward in Paradise Jannah or punishment in Hell Jahannam.
