Chapter : Verse.

(Information in brackets is added to assist readers in the interpretation of the verse).

Quran 71:0 Koran 71:0 Verse 71:0 Ayah 71:0 Ayat 71:0 Aya 71:0 In the name of Allaah, The Most Kind, The Most Merciful.

Quran 71:1 Koran 71:1 Verse 71:1 Ayah 71:1 Ayat 71:1 Aya 71:1 We (Allaah) sent Prophet Noah Nuh to his people (saying), “Warn your people before a painful punishment (from Allaah) comes to them.”

Quran 71:2 Koran 71:2 Verse 71:2 Ayah 71:2 Ayat 71:2 Aya 71:2 He (Prophet Noah Nuh) said, “My people, I am a clear warner (from Allaah) to you.”

Quran 71:3 Koran 71:3 Verse 71:3 Ayah 71:3 Ayat 71:3 Aya 71:3 (Saying), "Pray to Allaah, fear Him (Allaah) and heed me (Prophet Noah Nuh).”

Quran 71:4 Koran 71:4 Verse 71:4 Ayah 71:4 Ayat 71:4 Aya 71:4 “He (Allaah) shall forgive you (people) of your sins (that you have committed up to this day) and delay (the judgement of) you for a (predetermined) period of time (instead of punishing you now for the sins that you have committed up to this day). The period of time (that is predetermined) by Allaah when it (Allaah’s judgement) comes cannot be delayed. If you only knew (this is true).”

Quran 71:5 Koran 71:5 Verse 71:5 Ayah 71:5 Ayat 71:5 Aya 71:5 He (Prophet Noah Nuh) said, “My Lord (Allaah) I have called night and day to my people (to follow the way of Allaah).”

Quran 71:6 Koran 71:6 Verse 71:6 Ayah 71:6 Ayat 71:6 Aya 71:6 “But my calling to them (to follow the way of Allaah) only makes them run away (from doing what is righteous).”

Quran 71:7 Koran 71:7 Verse 71:7 Ayah 71:7 Ayat 71:7 Aya 71:7 “And whenever I (Prophet Noah Nuh) have called them (the people to come to Allaah) so that You (Allaah) may forgive them, they (the people) put their fingers in their ears (to close their hearing to the word of Allaah) and they cover themselves (to wrap their heart against the word of Allaah, to cover their heart against the word of Allaah) with their garments (to close their heart to Allaah) and continued (to be closed to Allaah) and are arrogant with pride.”

Comment 1. Nothing is hidden from Allaah.

Quran 11:5 Verse 11:5 They cover up their hearts (true feelings) so that they may hide from Him (Allaah) but even when they cover themselves with their clothing, Allaah knows what they hide and what they declare. He (Allaah) knows what is in the hearts (of people).

Quran 71:8 Koran 71:8 Verse 71:8 Ayah 71:8 Ayat 71:8 Aya 71:8 “I (Prophet Noah Nuh) called them (the people) publically.”

Quran 71:9 Koran 71:9 Verse 71:9 Ayah 71:9 Ayat 71:9 Aya 71:9 “And I (Prophet Noah Nuh) announced to them (the way of Allaah) and I (also) talked to them in private.”

Quran 71:10 Koran 71:10 Verse 71:10 Ayah 71:10 Ayat 71:10 Aya 71:10Saying (to them), Ask forgiveness from your Lord (Allaah) because He (Allaah) is the most forgiving.”

Quran 71:11 Koran 71:11 Verse 71:11 Ayah 71:11 Ayat 71:11 Aya 71:11 “(It is) He (Allaah who) sends from the sky pouring rain.”

Quran 71:12 Koran 71:12 Verse 71:12 Ayah 71:12 Ayat 71:12 Aya 71:12 “(And it is Allaah who) increases your wealth and children and gives to you gardens and rivers (containing provisions for you on the earth).”

Quran 71:13 Koran 71:13 Verse 71:13 Ayah 71:13 Ayat 71:13 Aya 71:13 “What is the matter with you (people) that you do not honour Allaah?”

Quran 71:14 Koran 71:14 Verse 71:14 Ayah 71:14 Ayat 71:14 Aya 71:14 He (Allaah) created you (humans) in stages (in the womb).

Comment 1. Humans are created in stages in the womb from sperm drop to a clinging substance to male or female.

Quran 3:6 Verse 3:6 It is He (Allaah) who shapes you in the wombs as He (Allaah) wills. There is no Allaah but He (Adonai, Allaah, Elohim, god, Jehovah, Yahweh, YHWH), the all-mighty, the all-wise.

Quran 40:64 Verse 40:64 It is Allaah who has made the earth a place for you to live and the sky for a covering, and formed you and perfected your forms (in the womb, see Quran 71:14 comments), and provided you with good things. That is Allaah, your Lord. Blessed is Allaah, the Lord of the Worlds.

Quran 75:37 Verse 75:37 Was he (the human) not (from) an ejected sperm-drop?

Quran 75:38 Verse 75:38 Then he was a clinging substance (which is the male sperm inserted into the female egg), then He (Allaah) created (him) and proportioned (him in the womb).

Quran 75:39 Verse 75:39 Then made of him (the human) two kinds, the male and the female.

Quran 75:40 Verse 75:40 Is not (Allaah who creates life not also) able to give life to the dead?

Quran 82:7 Verse 82:7 Who created you and shaped you (in the womb through Allaah’s process of evolution, see Quran 71:14) and proportioned you (balanced you physically and balanced you in mind and heart with a portion of the ability to show mercy and kindness to others)?

Comment 2. Scientifically humans call the shaping of creation the process of evolution.

See Quran 41:9 comments in Quran chapter 41.

Quran 71:15 Koran 71:15 Verse 71:15 Ayah 71:15 Ayat 71:15 Aya 71:15 Do you not see how Allaah has created the seven heavens in layers (one above the other with no cracks or faults or disruptions between them that the eye can see).

Comment 1. The seven heavens.

See Quran 65:12 comments in Quran chapter 65.

Quran 71:16 Koran 71:16 Verse 71:16 Ayah 71:16 Ayat 71:16 Aya 71:16 And (Allaah) made the Moon (to be) a light (called the lesser light in Torah Taurat Genesis 1:16 confirming Quran 2:41) therein (the lowest heaven) and made the Sun (to be) a lamp (called the greater light in Torah Taurat Genesis 1:16 confirming Quran 2:41, in the lowest heaven).

Comment 1. Quran 71:16 is not about reflected light from the Moon.

Quran 71:16 confirms Torah Taurat Genesis 1:16.

The meaning of Quran 71:16 is that in the day the Sun is a lamp in the sky and in the night the Moon is a light in the sky confirming the Torah Taurat.

Comment 2. Quran 71:16 is not about reflected light.

Light and reflection are two different words.

Quran 24:35 Verse 24:35 Allaah is the light of the heavens and the earth ..."

Note 1. The word light does not mean reflected light.

Comment 3. Quran 71:16 is confirming the Torah Taurat in Quran 2:41.

Quran 2:41 Verse 2:41 And believe in what I (Allaah) have revealed (in the Quran) confirming that which is with you (the Jewish people in the Torah Taurat as proof to the stone idol worshipers of Makkah in Quran 6:114, Quran 46:10 and Quran 10:94 that the Quran is not an invented story) ..."

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning (13.8 billion years ago to 4.54 billion years ago) Allaah created the heaven (the sky) and the earth.

Genesis 1:3 And Allaah said “Let there be light” and there was light (from the Sun 4.6 billion years ago).

Genesis 1:14 And (13.8 billion years ago to 4.51 billion years ago) Allaah said “Let there be lights (from the sun and the moon and the stars) in the firmament of the heaven (the sky of the earth) to divide the day (by the sun) from the night (by the moon and the stars) and let them (the position of the constellations of stars in the sky) be for signs of seasons and (the phases of the Moon in the sky be for signs) of days and years;

Genesis 1:15 and let them (the sun, moon and stars) be for lights in the firmament of the heaven (in the sky of the earth) to give light on the earth.” And it was so.

Note 1. The Sun in the day and the Moon at night give light on the Earth.

Genesis 1:16 And Allaah made the two great lights: the greater light to rule the day (by the Sun), and the lesser light to rule the night (by the Moon); and the stars.

Note 1. The Sun is the greater light.

Note 2. The Moon is the lesser light.

Genesis 1:17 And Allaah set them (the sun, moon and stars) in the firmament of the heaven (the sky of the Earth) to give light on the earth.

Note 1. The Sun in the day and the Moon at night give light on the Earth.

Genesis 1:18 and to rule over the day (by the sun) and over the night (by the moon and the stars), and to divide the light from the darkness (by sunrise and sunset and by moon rise and moon set and by star rise and star set); and Allaah saw that it was good.

Genesis 1:19 And there was evening and there was morning, a fourth day.

See Quran 41:9 comments in Quran chapter 41.

Comment 4. Quran 25:61 confirms Torah Genesis 1:16-1:18.

The word illuminating in Quran 33:46 is the same word illuminating in Quran 25:61 meaning the Quran is confirming what is in the Torah Taurat.

Quran 25:61 is not about reflected light like Quran 33:46 is not about reflected light and Torah Taurat Genesis 1:17 is not about reflected light but only about illuminating meaning these verses say that the Moon gives light to illuminate the Earth at night meaning people on Earth can see at night because of the light from the Moon.

Quran 25:61 Verse 25:61 Blessed is He (Allaah) who has placed in the skies constellations (of stars) and has placed in there a lamp (the Sun called the greater light in Torah Taurat Genesis 1:16 confirming Quran 2:41) and a Moon illuminating (the Earth at night in Torah Taurat Genesis 1:16-1:18 confirming Quran 2:41).

Quran 33:46 Verse 33:46 And as one who invites (people) to Allaah with His (Allaah’s) permission, and (for you to be) like a lamp illuminating (the hearts the minds of the people).

Comment 5. As proof Allaah is real and the Quran is truthful Quran 2:41 in 3 above confirms the books of Allaah from the past which never change and not the books of science in the future which change in every generation.

Quran 71:17 Koran 71:17 Verse 71:17 Ayah 71:17 Ayat 71:17 Aya 71:17 And Allaah has caused you to grow like a growth from the earth (just like plants also grow from the earth, meaning that humans were created by Allaah from the materials on the earth through Allaah’s predetermined process of evolution).

See Quran 71:14 comments.

Quran 71:18 Koran 71:18 Verse 71:18 Ayah 71:18 Ayat 71:18 Aya 71:18 “Then He (Allaah) returns you to it (the earth, the soil, the dust) and then He (Allaah) shall bring you out (again from the soil, earth and dust on the day of Resurrection to your new life in the hereafter).”

Quran 71:19 Koran 71:19 Verse 71:19 Ayah 71:19 Ayat 71:19 Aya 71:19 “And Allaah has made the earth spacious (open and wide) for you.”

Quran 71:20 Koran 71:20 Verse 71:20 Ayah 71:20 Ayat 71:20 Aya 71:20 “And created roads (wide valleys) for you to travel (across the land on the earth).”

Quran 71:21 Koran 71:21 Verse 71:21 Ayah 71:21 Ayat 71:21 Aya 71:21 Prophet Noah Nuh said, “My Lord (Allaah) they (the people) have disobeyed me and follow a person whose wealth and children increase them in nothing but (the) loss (of Allaah’s guidance).”

Quran 71:22 Koran 71:22 Verse 71:22 Ayah 71:22 Ayat 71:22 Aya 71:22 “And they have plotted a great plan (against Allaah).”

Quran 71:23 Koran 71:23 Verse 71:23 Ayah 71:23 Ayat 71:23 Aya 71:23 “By saying, Do not abandon your gods. Do not abandon Wadd (the idol of god carved in the form of a man), Suwa (the idol of god carved in the form of a woman), Yaghuth (the idol of god carved in the form of a lion), Yauq (the idol of god carved in the form of a horse) and Nasr (the idol of god carved in the form of an eagle).”

Quran 71:24 Koran 71:24 Verse 71:24 Ayah 71:24 Ayat 71:24 Aya 71:24 “And they have led many astray (away from Allaah to do what is bad in their life) so (Allaah) do not increase for them (any reward) except misguidance.”

Quran 71:25 Koran 71:25 Verse 71:25 Ayah 71:25 Ayat 71:25 Aya 71:25 Because of their sins they were drowned (in the great flood during their life) then made to enter Fire (on the Day of Judgement). And they did not find for themselves any helpers except Allaah (on the Day of Judgement).

Quran 71:26 Koran 71:26 Verse 71:26 Ayah 71:26 Ayat 71:26 Aya 71:26 And Prophet Noah Nuh said, “My Lord (Allaah), Do not leave one of the disbelievers to remain on the land.”

Quran 71:27 Koran 71:27 Verse 71:27 Ayah 71:27 Ayat 71:27 Aya 71:27 “If You (Allaah) would leave them (on the earth), they shall mislead Your (Allaah’s) servants and they would give birth to nothing but wrongdoers and disbelievers.”

Quran 71:28 Koran 71:28 Verse 71:28 Ayah 71:28 Ayat 71:28 Aya 71:28 “My Lord (Allaah), Forgive me and my parents and the people who enter my house who believe (in Allaah) including believing men and believing women, and do not increase wrongdoers in anything but ruin.”
